Chris Macfarlane

Any chance he meant the result was good for ‘morale’?

David Smart

Well then why the fuck is that wank stain Kenny miller agreeing with him is my biggest question in the whole penalty discussion?

Billy Forrester

David is that waste of oxygen Michael Stewart banned from Ibrox, I know Sutton was banned a year or 2 back but I think that hateful wee horrible toxic man Stewart is worse than he has ever been and I hope that prick is never ever allowed to set foot in our home.

Graham Roy

That 1st half was genuinely embarrassing! But do think a serious conversation needs to take place about Goldson from the January break he has been awful and Sunday was a new low! He has been consistently our best defender over the past few years but I do think big Leon should come in on Wednesday beside souttar!

Scott

Re Mutton and Boyd and what Sky are looking for I believe they love when the comments go viral and become memes and gifs etc. When in the past was a commentators take a talking point and newsworthy, these days it is and it keeps Sky high profile.

KennyY

Wouldn’t you love it if we could win the title from that smug entitled Brendan Rogers.

Vanb bryceter

It would be wonderful if nobody reposted what sutton or stewart or any of the biased halfwits said. If the club cant do anything then neither can we other than not giving the oxygen they seek. They are literally not worth the effort.

Billy Forrester

Snake should never be welcomed into Ibrox, they banned Sutton so surely they can ban that low life

Graham Roy

He seems all over the place at the moment. Possibly a spell on the bench wouldn’t be the worst idea. BTW I don’t blame him for penalty it was one of those things that is hard to stop happening! But his passing was awful and positioning is as bad as I have seen for a while!

Steven Renton

Every word Clement said in that post game chat was purely aimed at the players. He knows he's lumbered with half a dozen pea-hearts for the rest of this season and he needs to get a song out of them for a few more weeks.

Craig

Manager getting some pelters for saying "moral victory" but I think it's a language barrier thing. He just meant with the way the game went, we'll have come out of it feeling better than they did.

Mike Black

I'm sick and tired of the free passes we give to them. It still feels like a loss to me.

Chris Graham 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Davy all I have done AGAIN !!!! Is cursed how much we gift them over and over in nearly 10 old firm games now We won’t beat them till we sort the defence and irrational passing out No control in our games

Gary Semple

Ref comm would be better than the shite they spout

Scott Corral

I thought sportscene had about right last night with Neil McCann and Peter Grant. Both nailed their colours but gave honest and valid accounts of what they seen in the match.

Graham McCallum

I live in England and Sutton is thought of quite well by fans here when he talks about the English game. Something happens to him when he talks about Rangers. He’s box office for Sky in Scotland because of his obvious dislike for everything Rangers. I don’t know why people get their knickers in a twist over him he is exactly what he is and that’s a pantomime villain in Scotland.

Jim Milne

It's important to score 1st at Parkhead. Their fans have turned on them each and everytime they've went behind at home.

George Higgins

Don’t think you can ban him for an opinion no matter how bizarre it is.

Russ

Has anyone ever won the league without winning one of the first 3 league OF games in the split era?

Euan Dover

I interpreted moral victory as mental / psychological victory, which I agree with. I think the manner of the comeback will do benefit for the belief / mentality in that dressing room.

Tamus

How long does it take for a foul not to be relavent when VAR are looking for reasons to chop off a goal. I thought a lot happened between the foul in our half and Dessers 'goal' It just seems to me that when Rangers score they go back and back and back again to find a reason to disallow our goals Had Dessers shot been defected wide rather than going in and we score from the relevent corner (I know I know) do they still pull it back for a celtic foul in our half. .

Gregg

They must be generating a load of extra revenue from clipping some of these back and forth with analysts on socials. Either that or the young team lap it up? Seems like a talksport rip off - I don’t find it interesting at all but then it’s not for me I don’t think.

Graham johnston

Sky need to remember that they have a responsibility to make sure no one is put in danger from there pantomime. Celtic fans r already delusional enough without whipping up claims of basis from the so called Adults in the room. Sutton and Stewart r suggesting the refs cheating eg and is working their aimed audience up. If a ref or any official is attacked in the future then I think they shoukd take some of the blame for poking the fire

Roddy Wylie

Don’t underestimate the wind, it’s horrendous to play in as an ex Arbroath player trust me impossible. That was a major part in both teams play yesterday but we did make some really self inflicted errors in the first half. In normal conditions their first goal doesn’t happen.

Jamie

What’s the track name buddy

Robbie McCarroll

Suttons comments at the Celtic penalty that Rangers are not used to conceding penalties was poor basically said Refs are corrupt in our favour, what a tool !

Chris Graham 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Something I am holding hope of is when we do face them again Sima Motondo Danilo Cantwell Dowell Coretez All these guys are back playing , fit and available and right up to speed

Martin Sutherland

Commented this a week or so back on the DU. On Lundstram’s new deal, he needed to step up in the OF. Once again posted missing. Let him leave.

Billy Forrester

Doubt we will see Danilo or Cortez this season mate, hope I’m wrong but I’d be very surprised

Gordon Millar

It's worth mentioning that as far back as I can remember we go into Ibrox OF games with player selections that have us as a support shaking our heads.....I trust the manager and know there was limited options but I couldn't have been alone in disagreeing with the starting 11....and for the record we just don't start well in these games that matter as well.....we just don't seize the initiative and end up needing heroics to draw or narrowly lose these games....I hope we rectify this when we play at Parkhead....

Alastair McGeoch

I remember the late 90s early 00s when Sportsound was essential listening on a Saturday afternoon whilst I was recovering from the Friday night hangover. Now, it’s full of z list pundits led by chief cretin Michael Stewart. His commentary on the highlights was an embarrassment made even funnier by Peter Grant and Neil McCann both articulating why it was a penalty in their analysis! Stewart is on Sportsound for click bait reasons. Listenership is dwindling so they want people to hate listen. I enjoyed watching football and hearing the analysis, now it’s just Sutton making smarmy comments followed by Boyd making smarmy comments back. It’s a sorry state of affairs when Neil Lennon starts to look the balanced pundit of the three!

Graham Roy

Don’t agree with that argument. If someone attacks a ref Because of something Chris Sutton says they should probably avoid football altogether! It’s pantomime and same argument could be used against Boyd and McCoist! They want you to be annoyed about it and post online and watch clips! Just ignore it and if you feel really offended by it then cancel your sky package and list that as reason! I personally don’t see the sense in wasting my time on these clowns they deserve to be ignored!

Stephen

I think they think that having a bias pundit on each side makes it neutral. I don’t even listen to them to be honest. Turn it on a couple of minutes before it starts and turn it off at the final whistle.

Billy Forrester

Having gathered my thoughts after a pulsating match yesterday I still think we are in a great position to win this league, win Wednesday and we are 2 clear with 6 to play, a great position we wouldn’t have thought possible in Oct. On going to parkhead to get a result, why not. We have been to betis and got a result under clement and they are a better team than Celtic, get at them and get 1st goal and they will buckle. Just don’t start wright and silva, go for jugular with pace of matondo and sima. We are gonna win this title 💪

Scott Watson

Vanishingly unlikely to see Danilo or Cortez but there's a real chance Yilmaz, Cantwell and Sima will start the next old firm, with Sterling at right wing and Matondo available as an impact sub again That'd strengthen us considerably

Robert White

Dessers goal was a goal. Phases of play before the goal after the disputed tackle. How far back? As var as required by the backroom bhoys

KMS

Thin Lizzy Jailbreak was my tune of choice last night 😁👀

KMS

Yesterday it was at our stadium and we got out of jail after that 1st half horror show, actually it was more like a snuff movie when you watch it back 🤮

David Innes

Sima coming back to fitness is the main reason I still believe we can with the league

Chris Macfarlane

Was thinking the same. A break for Goldson doesn’t seem ridiculous, but the gaffer must have given thought to whether he’s a first choice for the run in.

Graham johnston

If u have a platform to talk to millions of people u need to accept some responsibility for your actions or words. Blatantly going around calling people cheats or calling the ref brother beaton is not acting responsibility. By point is that the people who should be promoting our game need to act like the adults in the room because there is that lunatic element around. Also u can't compare McCoist with Sutton. McCoist would never play up to the crowd like Sutton

Ben Laing

It’s very simple with the bias guys… it’s all about clicks/ engagement, in an age where they are becoming increasingly irrelevant in the news.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. Mike Tyson once said "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth" - and that was us on Sunday. Plan out the window in 23 seconds. Pass marks 1st half for Diomande, kept his head, kept trying to get things going with simple accurate passes. Dessers never stopped running and pressing their defs & GK. Solo, isolated, abandoned! If theres anything to take from that 1st half its his effort, commitment & teamwork. What he's overcome this season is extraordinary. He deserves respect, not just tolerance. Personally want to see him bag the winner at the San Giro win us the league. Game turned again on our disallowed goal, that stands we win. I saw the ref see the contact, pause to think and clearly signal play on. No surprise he'd let plenty similar go. Lots of play afterwards, I read 3 of theirs touched the ball, so the last phase of play for VAR rules is not that tackle, shouldn't have been taken back that far. We won the draw! 😆 Best goals against in the league, think just how good it would be if we didn't gift so many ridiculous self inflicted ones.

Graham Leatherbarrow

Who won toss on Sunday? If we did then instead of playing traditional way to broomloan first we should have played with the gale first half, make use of favourable conditions, clearly our captain was not awake to the conditions as proven within 1 minute. Lessons need to be learned.

Craig

Is it possible Clement meant morale and not moral? His English is excellent but that was certainly a morale boosting end to the game.
