Its a conditioned response not to listen to Dundee previews incase the game gets called. Should win, crowd will be hostile, will need a performance to build up that unity the manager has spoken about in preparation for cup final

Tom McDavid

I’m guessing this isn’t going to lighten my mood 😇

Thomas Blair

352 for me in the last 3 games. Butland Sterling Davies souttar Tav yilmaz Raskin diomande Cantwell Silva dessers

Jim Milne

Probably win the next two games 5-0......it's what we've come to expect from the core when the pressure is off.

Luke

4 nil comfortable win. No fuss no drama. When there is nothing to play for rangers play well against teams you expect them to beat. All I'm interested in seeing is Sterling in the center midfield area, raskin getting a start and maybe Leon king getting a start as well if balogun and Souter are missing. I don't want to see Lawrence playing as he offers little apart from shooting outside the box on occasions. Cantwell offers more energy and that is what we missed against Celtic.

KennyY

Will the majority of fans bugger off before the final whistle. Certainly nothing to celebrate at full time. We still have to go to our work and face the daily pish from the Tim’s who predicted all year that they were going to win the league. Players have let us down hugely. Don’t expect us to be happy with second place. Second is as good as 6th. Scunnered with them all.

Angus Mackay

Join Kevin, Stevie and Iain. Nah, you’re alright, after the last time I think I might patch this. No offence lads 😆

John Smith

On the subject of managers, how would you feel about having co managers

Gregg

Can listen to most stuff - but the preview the day? Na.

Gregg

You come out with some whoppers John- never change 😂

Martin Mcpartland

It worries me that stevie does more research than the Rangers staff.

JimGLW

Good pod guys. Calling it like it is, no excuses. Tough but accurate listen.

Angus Mackay

Just kidding. I listened to it and I agreed with most of it. Most of all I agree that Lundstram shouldn’t play for the club again and that if a contract still on the table it should be withdrawn immediately. Saturday was as bad a betrayal of the shirt as I can remember. I do however fundamentally disagree with the idea that if the manager loses the cup final (with a squad that you admit is down to bare bones) then he has to win the first OF at the breezeblock boulevard next season. We are still behind in terms of squad and finance and they will spend more than we do this summer - maybe considerably more; expecting any manager to overhaul that gap in a one year period is unrealistic and counter productive. Sooner or later we are going to have to give soneone time, it’s either that or feed the narcissist on the other side of the city as he waves yet another Rangers manager away.

Angus Mackay

One more thing. This team lacks killer instinct. That is what we need more than almost anything else. Our insipid attempts at goal when it was 0-0 are a testament to that, but it’s been shown time and again for the past few years.

Iain Campbell

Hence why the 3 of us banged the drum in January about signing an out and out goalscorer

Angus Mackay

I don’t think it’s just about the striker, Iain (although the Silva deal definitely hasn’t worked). It’s more of an attitudinal thing in the squad. Having conceded two we cut right through them and scored. We made it hard for ourselves, woke up and put ourselves in a better position and then threw. That is pretty much the story of this team.

William Mcdonald

Great pod under the circumstances lads, thank you

Scott Affleck

It was the Celtic game at Ibrox that cost us the title, not County/Dundee. We had to prove we could beat the cunts and didn't.

Martin Mcpartland

I wish borna never scored that goal at st mirren. He has been a disaster for us.

Brian Rae

I've just listened to the press conference and we now have more players out injured. Any coaching/conditioning staff still at the club that was involved in pre-season last summer should also be part of the massive clearout. We have a squad of players who are not physically equipped for the basic rigours of professional football, never mind one competing in numerous competitions. It's now crystal clear that the recruitment wasn't the only thing that was badly botched by the cockney gobshite and his amateur-level backroom team. If our potential new signing is as good for us as he is in Football Manager, we'll have won a watch.

Alastair McGeoch

Some won’t be injured, some are shitting out of getting a hostile reaction at Ibrox (which they deserve).

DEREK DICKSON

Only one team had a chance of a treble. Only one team wanted to win.

C. J

Honestly, Stevie’s analysis has been borderline immaculate since Gerrard left.

C. J

Clement has far too much trust in these players because they gave him a wee purple patch like they always do. They’re gonna throw him under the bus & he’s sleepwalking right into it like all the rest before him.

Bradley johnson

Gio had credit in the bank after the Scottish cup & euro run, he was gone soon enough into the new season. Credit in the bank can only Take you so far. Clement will be no different

Alex Hood

Listen to the manager’s presser. I guarantee Lundstram will start in the final.

David Kiltie

Looking back on this season I think of two sliding doors moments - Casey being spared a red card for the foul on McCausland and the 2nd postponement v Dundee. Had the game been played on 10th April with the momentum from our late comeback v Celtic then I reckon we would have won and also avoided the fiasco in Dingwall. That said, the squad lack the mental strength to overcome setbacks. Maybe next year some of the breaks may fall our way.
