There’s a brilliant 21 year old Brazilian winger without a club right now called Renyer

John Smith

David, would you say it was a “captains” performance from 🧼 ? I’m still holding on to this dream of mine

james whyte

Drive me up the pole! Not heard that in years 🤣 Vastly underused saying!

Robert White

One of Santos youngest players ever but In March 2020, suffered a serious knee injury. Possibly a pay as he plays deal?

Stephen

Not even sure if that type of contract exists (or ever existed) anymore. Equally he would be mad to agree to that after the way we messed Hagi about

Mark Boyd

Thought souttar was only good enough to play in Scotland? 😄 Always really liked him and at 28 I think he is the basis of the next few years at centre back. Glad to see him playing so well

Bixby Snyder

Not a Clarke fan at all but the way he set up the team last night (4-2-3-1, but basically a 6-3-1) might be useful for Clement to see when we go up against Tottenham, Man U, and maybe that lot away.

Colin Mathie

Quite right about Sima, if him and his agent were asking for too much money then cya! Sima.

Colin Mathie

The sooner we ditch Castore, the better.

Graham McCallum

I’m going to shout about a show you promised now Mr Edgar. Where is the next History Boys episode? 😊

Roy Donlon

Actually don’t mind the designs etc from Castore, but the quality of the stuff (at full price) is absolutely brutal

David Clapperton

Can’t help thinking if Jack ,Roofe, Helander, Ridvan and others didn’t come before Cortes we’d probably be saying “the kid’s been unlucky but he’s shown promise so fingers crossed with him”. It’s not really his fault but we really do seem to be jinxed. A noticeably absence from this list is Souttar, who we seem to have helped, so that’s a positive I’m clinging onto for dear life.

Bob MacCallum

Re Castore, you're reasoning for Gers sticking with them is basically they make life easy for the commercial executives by paying up on time etc. So, no thought for the fans who buy the stuff in terms of design and quality. They'll have to buy the crap designs regardless. I've seen fans' designs that are better. As usual Gers put fans at the foot of their priorities list.

Scott Corral

I was glad to hear we didn’t feel the Cordoba commitment was good enough and in turn binned him. If only the last guys who were involved with that business had picked up on the Cifuentes body language and done the same.

JimGLW

Rangers are happy with castore. Says it all about where standards and attention to duty is at.

Ricky

Did the charity walk last year and signed up again this year. Walking around the pitch at midnight was a fantastic experience, while making some cash for charity.

Wages were always going to be a big sticking point with Sima. We were trying to lower the wage bill and his. Agent was trying to take as much as possible for his client. Cordoba didn’t have the personality for Rangers, and it was noticed fortunately. That’s the club doing their jobs for a change. Regarding the Castore deal,, it will come down to money at the end of the day because that’s the only thing that talks. I’m not sure Rangers would really be interested in going with the same company as the other lot again, because our retail is a lot more lucrative than theirs. The numbers have shown that, and that’s despite the issues we’ve had with our retail division over the past few years. The gear with Castore isn’t great. Have to say, but they are reliable with what their payments and giving more up front, but we also get more because of the deal we have regarding branded sales. I think someone covered this before, but there is a good reason why the club like Castore, but we need to have a bigger say in some of the design decisions, and also what is turned into products. Unless Adidias or Nike offer us an amount that makes things simple and more lucrative then I can’t see the club parting company with Castore, but they need to improve the gear because it’s boring repetitive retro rip offs a lot of the time. I have no problem with them making one of them retro, but these strips were cutting edge at the time and we need cutting edge design for today.
