It's crazy to me that calvin bassey was fast athletic and strong and we knew that worked in Scotland and Europe. But our replacements have been slow and weak but with some game intelligence. I don't understand what we do when we replace players

It’s always interesting listening to all fans views on these younger players that are brought in. We tend to expect them to always work out which isn’t the case. Even look at Sima at Brighton we would think he is a great player but to Brighton fans he is a flop who they spent a reasonable amount on and has delivered them nothing.

I'm so tired of hearing the "we had 7 new players starting"....it's almost November! Clement sounds more and more like Mick Beale each game. I'd have more respect if he binned that line and said I need to work harder in training but then he's basically saying they can't or don't train between games and language is an issue. If language is an issue, perhaps we should have looked at another player. Too many excuses and not enough taking responsibility IMO.

Kasanwirjo is a starter for me now. Don't care what position for me he looks like the only defender we have that's got all of the attributes we require pace aggression physicality and he can play forward too. Propper was horrific and should be benched until he can be shipped out in January. Clements trope about a young team has to become a reality actually play the young guys who actually show something instead of the allegedly more experienced weaklings we have seen all too often already this season

It’s one of the issues I have with the likes of Chelsea and Man City the amount of kids they scoop up knowing they will find 1 or 2 diamonds is a form of exploitation. Wouldn’t be surprised if UEFA don’t try to to regulate it if nothing more to let them get some money from it!

Some reasonable responses from the gaffer, I do however really wish he would rap the ‘just in the building’ patter. It’s beginning to sound like a tired excuse. On the positive, I do really like the look of Barren and Raskin playing in the midfield, I think that’s much more balanced and I hope e sticks with that. On Kas, he really looked good 2nd half, also thought he looked solid at CH, you covered it well, Propper was rotten. it’s not easy but we need to keep looking for the positives. Bring on Wednesday, it is what it is, let’s go for it.

I don’t really bother with what Clement says in these press conferences as he is in the phase now where he is just fighting to keep his job. He won’t believe any of these excuses but to tell the truth would put pressure on him to walk away from £Millions in compensation and that is not happening. He is just keeping things rolling until we get better under him or the board make a decision to sack him.

We repeatedly hire people who think Scottish football is beneath them and they can recruit players who are better technically. Ignoring that there's a reason the league isn't full of smaller, faster players. It keeps happening as we have no real structure in place.

Spot on with the first bit. We need some timber to allow a smattering of wee guys to play. We made the same mistakes when we had a structure ie Ross Wilson failing miserably to replace Bassey.

"It was a grind". Perfect match summary. After the awful 1st half I was seriously questioning my sanity in flying up for the match at stupid o'clock yesterday. 2nd half was marginally better, a bit more energy and fair play to Dessers, he improved things. Thought Raskin and Kasanwirjo were decent too. The last game I made it up for was a similarly turgid display and narrow win vs Hibs at Ibrox. Both games came after startlingly good performances in Europe vs Malmo and FCSB., clearly we struggle to maintain the same intensity on a Thursday then Sunday.

Proper can’t play on Wednesday night , if he starts then Clement has really lost the plot , Olusanya ran him ragged but fairly , this wasn’t Moult tactics on Cardoso which should have led to an arrest so if he can’t handle that , he’s just not suited to Scottish football.

I've thought about that a few times. If I'm being honest I do believe he is a principaled man. If he is being honest then he will admit to himself when the time comes and walk away without burdening the club with a financial penalty I hope

Me neither. Having both Yilmaz and Cortes out has left our left hand side so short, forcing Bajrami to fill the void wide left. Kasanwirjo’s great performance at left back in Malmo indicates that he could play there at the sheep pen, with Jefte further forward. Everyone agrees that Bajrami will be more effective as a number 10 than out wide.
