Hi David was at the game yesterday very poor performance we were very disorganised it’s so frustrating. I am a new member also great content 🔴⚪️🔵🇬🇧🇬🇧

David Campbell

The manager is seeing things I simply can't see myself tbh. Made many good chances did we? If hearts where more clinical they win the game. I can't watch this rubbish all season it is brutal

Chris Morrison

We don’t control games. need a Steven davis type in midfield with some proper wingers and a proper CF. We play like the away team at home and it’s awful to watch, it’s unsustainable and it’s only going to end one way.

Gary Staff

Fucking great song today

james whyte

Less words, more action. I am a bit fed up of the same nonsense being spoken from the gaffer and being told by players thats its not good enough. We know. What yous doing to make it better because on domestic form, not much!

Colin

I genuinely don't see what value Diomande is adding to the team or how he lasted 90 minutes yesterday. I had high hopes for him, but at the moment I stuggle to see anything.

Colin McL.

The ‘expectations’ line is now beginning to feel like an empty platitude - something offered to placate fans. In reality, manager + players don’t illustrate a genuine understanding or endeavour to meet those ‘expectations’. Indeed, we have a manager actively looking to reduce expectations.

Vanb bryceter

We came flying out the traps and then fell flat on our face. I can't understand it. The substitions were mental again. Taking Barron off to protect him is another bullshit answer from Clement especially when Raskin was saying how tired he was after Thursday.Hagi should've replaced Diomande and how Tav was allowed to continue past half time is baffling. I want Clement to succeed but my god he isn't helping himself at all

Jim McCutcheon

Thanks David not a great performance yesterday but we got the win , and well said 👏

Doug Young

I posted this on the car pod, but in my opinion, this is the trouble at the moment with Diomande: Diomande isn't an awful footballer, he's just not a very good number 10. What Hagi has over him is that he is a better number 10. As is Bajrami. Diomande at 10 baffles me- all the good stuff we saw from him when he arrived was in the 8- driving forward from deeper, moving into space created by the front players and shooting on sight. The front players don't create the space any more and we don't seem to have an 8- just two 6s and a 10.

Every year we have this nonsense with Celtic. If their fans don’t want to respect a minute’s silence (which is perplexing as very few cannot have relatives who fought in WW1 or WW2) that is I suppose their choice. Unfortunately though they are unable to make that choice in isolation and the impact is especially acute if the home side is seeking to mark it with a minute’s silence The solution here is either they always play at home the weekend of Remembrance Sunday and simply don’t mark it or if they are away they don’t get tickets I don’t want us to score points on the matter but I would like someone at Rangers to be able to show some leadership and tell the SPFL/SFA ignoring it helps nobody (including Celtic)

Well after listening, I'm a bit more relaxed about it all. Fair comments I thought from Clement and Balogun. In the moment, we as a crowd have too much anxiety and it affects the players. Yes they should deal with it but as supporters maybe more support during the game would help the team too. The world's changed from when our criticism galvanised aggressive players. We have no aggressive players they are young men of the modern world.

Damien Stubbs

That felt like Clements least “gaslighty” type interview? In addition, wheeling Leon out (love him btw) must be a strategy by the club? They/we know what we get when he speaks, what’s the thought process there especially the weeks where he spoke and said one thing and clement came out and said we were great 😂 surely the selections like this aren’t an accident or am I expecting too much?

Graham Roy

I have concerns about our general play in that 30 yards from goal! The past 3 games have highlighted our issues with only 4 goals despite creating well over 20 from memory! We pass along the opposing box before losing it far too often. I’m hopeful that Danilo might give a slightly different option after the break. Also would like to see Hagi play that number 10 role!

stefan strzelecki

Well said David🇬🇧. I felt tav being selected , was madness. Thursday night , we were organised , mobile , aggressive , from defence to attack. The amount of times , cerny was required to fall back , due to tav , leaving acres of space , to go centre of defence, or attack. Either way he is hiding from his primary role. We must play KAz or Sterling . That would provide opponents with a more challenging tactical game. Yesterday they had full proof evidence, if all else fails , attacking the right flank , tav’s evasiveness is actually impairing Rangers moving forward.

We really need to address the manager’s use of the phrase “this is a young squad” - twice in a week now. And its quite simply NOT TRUE!!

Graeme McLeod

If this is Clement's idea of a young side, I'd hate to see what his idea of an experienced one is.

Mark Leiper

Can’t remember who it was but I remember a successful manager (might have been Sir Alex) saying that players will always look for excuses. He said it was up to the manager to make sure they had no possible excuse for not performing. I actually like Clement and think he is doing what he can with what he’s got but I do think he gives players excuses. It’s clear he thinks the schedule is ridiculous and puts a lot of value in sports science and I wonder if this seeps in to player mentality and partly explains drop off in performances following Europe. Coupled with the fact that Europe is the stage that will be taken notice of more so players want to impress to get good moves.

Calum Robertson

Great comments about our values David. Too often I hear talk of us being in "a disaster". No, Rangers disasters were in Jan 1971 and in 2012 when we almost disappeared. Right now we are not playing great football, but competing in Europe and in a cup final is hardly a disaster.

Stephen

Definitely. They should protest by arriving late if that’s what they want to do but it’s a lack of respect spoiling it for others. They seem to pride themselves on being a tolerance and forward thinking support but this shows them up for what they really are.

Graeme McLeod

Clement is looking for excuses just as much as any player. He trots out the same excuses frequently too.

CJT

Great tune. Great sentiments expressed. Class sums it up perfectly. The inability to understand they wouldn’t have the freedom to act that way without the sacrifice of those they chose to disrespect will never cease to amaze me. Hatred of the nation the live in in blinding reason. Anyway game was hard work but more realistic response from all parties this time round I think.

Stewart Robertson

The ref should treat it like timewasting, and stop the clock. Keep adding time until they’ve accumulated a whole minute of silence.

Martin Boyd

Great closing statement David. Always judge yourself on your own values never on what others do or their opinions.

Heart and Hand

That's put it better than I did Martin and you are 100% correct. I'm always polite to people, not for them but for me. I want to be that way, the way I was raised.

Bryan Watson

Biggest thing that concerns me is how completely expected yesterday was. That is our level, that is how we have peformed consistently all season - outplayed at home by jobbers regularly. They games can happen in a one off or a freak game, I mind the year we won 55, we went to Hamilton Accies who we had beaten 8-0 earlier in the season and were rock bottom of the league by a good few points. We ended up drawing 1-1 but Accies probably should have beaten us by 4 or 5 easy that day, and probably would have if it wasn't for McGregor. That was a one-off freak game (even then we were still raging) but its now at the stage where it is a one-off or freak performance when we turn a bottom half team over comfortably with 0 fuss. Really feel for Clement and praying for a eurika moment in the next 2 weeks but I doubt it, he isn't learning the lessons and it is only a matter of time before he is emptied and the cycle starts again.

David Scott

Silence was immaculate from both sets of supporters, Celtic should be banned from playing on remembrance weekend all together their disrespect will never change. Clement can come out with all the excuses in the book for yesterday but fail to win the cup and then lose to them in January he will be gone.

John Jamieson

Manager put the boot in to beale for team fitness and his team looked dead after 60 minutes so what’s his excuse?

Colin

The two players playing as our 6s are our two best players by far. When Dio was in there, we were cut open like a hot knife through butter.

David Mackie

Well said David agree with every word you said about Rangers and the respect shown on Remembrance Day 👏

Jim Lamb

I cannot see any improvements thus far into the season. To see that Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, St Mirren and Dundee have all scored more than us is quite frankly both unsustainable and unacceptable for Rangers Football Club. Next block of games is make or break for this team and Clement, and I’d argue that most of the match going support are expecting the worst. The financial gulf between us and that mhob is growing season by season. As you say, it’s not a quick process that will see us get back to being a successful club. Depressing, really, but what can we do 😔

Derek Stevenson

Well said Sir. I was born into being a Rangers fan but also knowing my family background and also my Club’s background. I’m forged on respect, standards, dignity, empathy, manners and a close family bond. Maybe it’s just me but certain Clubs don’t and never have upheld those values. Their types and followers may have increased or now move in different circles than previously, somewhat to the detriment of this country.

Jamiedfa

Well said David, we are a class above

Steven L

Very well said davie.

James Kenny

With reference to the tifo, I helped lay it out 3 years ago on the day prior to the game. Same tifo, Lest We Forget. It took 37 volunteers three and a half hours to complete, all worth when I saw the display the next day. We are the people!

Spoon

Spot on, biggest issue remains his set up and tactics for me. He is setting many players up to underperform.
