I'm unsure of having a go at the players, clement didn't know how to set a team up, no midfield, defence wide open. No press, a team of individuals, I believe this is fully on him. And as far as having another transitional year.....no fucking way get it sorted now

Thank god the news of a takeover broke last week. It is the only thing that might turn our fortunes around.

So looks like Barry Ferguson until the end of the season - I’m actually stunned. His managerial record in the lower leagues is embarrassingly bad . One final awful decision from the board

Simon Botterill

Should not be interim manager but utterly negligent someone like him (Rae did not have the legacy or looked like he had been empowered to drive anything) has not been part of the management strategy. We are biggest soft touch in that toughest period of our history. A Ferguson type should be dealing with players lack of character, teaching Tav to captain, officials, media, the dirty work the manager wants to stay clear of.

Can’t see Patrick Stewart moving on post takeover. He wasn’t appointed in an interim basis and it would be bizarre for him to leave a longer term interim role at Manchester United to do a shorter one here, presumably on less money. I’m sure our potential new owners will have been asked for their informal consent to his appointment.

Would feel like a GIRFUY to the fans. You wanted Clement gone? Well here’s the alternative

Big PC had his faults and his stubbornness with formation etc didn't help but not sure how many managers would get a tune out of this squad .. he's been left out to dry by board and lack of investment .. dont get me wrong time is right to part ways but I think if we had invested a bit more we would have seen results .. cammy as you mentioned who would have thought we would be last 16 in Europe I thought a few points at best .. not every manager could have achieved this Players .. some you can tell straight away there just not cut out for this .. Amad was one I'd say cortes will be another and barjrami is another just not cut out for scottish football and we shouldn't be wasting any more time on them Re investment yes massively exciting but let's not get carried away thinking we'll be next man city .. I'm really worried we could be Leeds utd feeder club and if things don't work out we could be stripped of all assets and tossed aside ... hopefully not but it's something to just think about .. sorry for negativity but this club has run me into the ground low after low .. good times have to be around the corner WATP

Any attempt that appoint an interim manager with no serious managerial experience would be another kick in the teeth. I want Rangers to show the ambition to be a European player, not a parochial small minded club, who think they can get fans onside with such an appointment. I find it hard to understand that they had no planning for life after Clement, after QP result it was an inevitable outcome. Yet more evidence of calamitous planning and decision making!

Gordon Millar

If this comes to pass it will be yet another ridiculous decision, no experience at serious clubs, do this board survive to give our rivals even more ammunition to take the piss🤬

Baz

My bad. In that case perhaps he’s happy enough to do it on an interim basis even though it wasn’t announced as that.
