October 2013 was the time when it became clear that Jon Daly was too good for League One and that Rangers were a complete shambles off the park, as financial losses brought back bad memories of the previous summer. There was a memorable win at Brechin and Rangers reached a cup final but the vibe was heavy down PRW

Listening to cheer myself up because at least we had no euro qualifying mortification!

Your right about games not being sold out. I didn't buy a season ticket in Div3 or league 1 and just went game by game and never missed out.

Catching up!! Thanks David, Rob & Stuart. Another really interesting but often somewhat very painful episode. I appreciate your work as it must be tougher putting these episodes together than listening to them. The team were doing it on the park, it had been build & funded to do so! Actually a team good enough (on paper!) to get back to the top division. But the bleeding of finance was absolutely horrific to see. Club being financially raped, twice, in almost as many years. I had my ST as usual. I went every game because that's my past-time, watching the Rangers team play and cheering them on - not a day out with the game in the middle. But even with a clear head and less 'emotionally' charged than others these games were a chore and very, very forgettable, despite better performances and goals to cheer. As was said - going because thats what you do. You're discussing goals in matches I was at but I cannot remember them, at all. But I can remember goals, bad tackles, sending offs, even crowd incidents / chants from years & years prior to this, and after. So at least I have an answer to your question Stuart 😄 Thanks again lads, this is a tough gig but it's vital we re-examine & discuss this period with hindsight and less emotion.
