I feel like I've been falcon punched - gutless b******s. That big lump of wood Goldson is only still a Ranger because NO-ONE wanted him. NO-ONE

Andrew Hillis

Hi David - you unfortunately are the man who needs to tell Gio it straight! We do we start so passive, Jack and Kamara doesn’t work, Borna needs to bomb on! Stop playing Lundstram in the back 3. Get on the front foot you Dutch legend! SIMPLE - high press / high tempo! Not rocket science

Andrew Hillis

Stop asking for injury updates - ask him why Davis and Arfield weren’t on at half time

Heart and Hand

Andrew: it’s not ‘up to me to tell him’ because a press conference is not for giving the manager a row. It’s not a discussion. This is not unique to Rangers. And I’m afraid the question you wanted asked was for tonight, so your complaint should be made to the rights-holders who interviewed him after the game.

Heart and Hand

On Friday, if I ask a question about a game three days previously he’ll brush it off and say ‘we’ll learn from our mistakes’ etc because that’s what they say. I ask about injuries because frankly it’s the only interesting thing that ever comes out of them.

Tess

We're pretty good here on H&H in terms of managing the need to be professional in our dealings with the club and dealing with the (often understandable) rage we all feel after what we perceive to be a poor performance. Davie (or whoever our nominated representative happens to be) absolutely cannot lose the head in the post match press conference, and nor should we expect them to. A bit of realism is required here, please folks.

I hope Borna leaves he’s done: I don’t think he wants to be here anymore

AGS

The goal was not keepers fault: deflection off defenders leg as it goes past him: McGregor cost the league last season, should’ve been man enough to quit! So sad he thinks he’s capable any more 😱

Spot on I'd also point out that the Overlord does ask some fairly direct and uncomfortable questions when warranted - e.g. the press conference after the old firm loss at Ibrox in April

Thank you James and Laura, quite therapeutic to listen to this after a night's sleep

Agree Tess. Important to be selective on knowing when to press the rage button at a press conference. Yes this was a shocker of a performance, but questions need to look forward not back. I’d be asking Gio who in his squad he feels are the more positive chance creators in the middle of the park. We can’t only rely on wide players to create goal scoring opportunities.

Andy Elliot

I listened this morning while sitting pondering the performance sipping a coffee at the French campsite we’re currently holidaying at. At the end my wife, who’d watched me agonise over the match last night, commented, “do you really need to listen to all of that pain just to confirm that Rangers were shite last night?” Fair comment I’d say :-) It’s either therapeutic or self harm, I haven’t decided yet.

Blairo

Defensively imploded, midfield couldn’t get a grip of the game. Is Jack fit? Never created a chance, poor service, not a question of us getting a goal. Can’t remember last time I saw a game where no player deserved pass marks. Hopefully the Ibrox factor will be enough on Tuesday.
