In this week’s show, Tom from Moodiesburn joins Alan and this week’s co-host Cammy Bell.

The guys discuss, amongst other things :-

Tom’s memories from the 1988/89 double winning season, memorable games, goals, and players. What’s not to like about a brilliant 3-2 Skol Cup final victory over Aberdeen and amazing 5-1, 4-1 and 2-1 Old Firm wins, oh yes and the first of our nine consecutive titles too?

The UK album and singles charts from 88/89, Tom’s favourite Bands, Gigs and Songs from both early 80s until the current day.

Favourite Band/Song clips

- The Jam - Going Underground

- INXS - New Sensation

- The Blue Nile - Tinseltown In The Rain

- OMD - Souvenir

- New Order - Love Vigilantes

- Simple Minds - Someone, Somewhere In Summertime

Holiday dampened by a Tropical storm 😂⛈️

Alan Bradley

😂😂 am sure it will clear up soon. If it’s any consolation Royal Wishaw Golf was a bit damp, cold and windy.

Billy Boyce

Hi Alan, maybe next you could interview yourself? Treble season 77/78. Genesis. Wishy East Cross Loyal. Girdwoods.

Alan Bradley

Good call. One for Cammy or John, clearly as a 16 year old, no alcohol passed my lips. 😉 If you’d like to join the conversation would be fab. Girdwoods wee bar at that time, with a great jukebox before the Kestral lounge opened was a definite.

Lee Colvin

Great show lads,if we had won that cup final it would of gone down as one of the great Rangers teams.

Johnny walker

Good stuff from a great season. Think my music was slightly better obviously . New Order a fav on this show.

David Best

Great show Alan and good to see you learning at the feet of the master!

Mr Ritchie

Good listen when working from home this afternoon, had most of those songs on vinyl back in the day, happy times. I know Jim Kerr nearly bought them back in the day but he can still put on a concert in his 60s

Mark Brown

Love the new show Alan. Great format 👍

Alan Bradley

Thanks mate,,taking a wee while to get it running smoothly, but I’m enjoying the footie and music combination. I’m sure yours will be a great show too. 😉

Alan Bradley

Now we’re both feeling old, with a mention of vinyl. Thankfully 78s or 8 track not mentioned. Feel free to come on a pick some more tunes.

Alan Bradley

That’s you on the schedule pal, I’ll give you a shout in a few weeks to look at diaries. Just let me know which season you fancy.

Johnny walker

Thoroughly recommend the pod to anyone thinking about coming on. Even though Al is into Genesis
