Folks the charity shout out so well put by Davie was on behalf of some very good friends of mine, if anyone can donate it would be massively appreciate - times are very tight at the moment but it’s for a great cause and even a £1 would help. Thanks 💙❤️💙

In terms of goalkeeper, it has to be McCrorie for me. Would definitely be playing Mccann, Devine and Yilmaz. Sakala deserves a run-out as well

Charlie Nicolson

That seems a very worthwhile charity. I'm happy to contribute a few quid

What's the craic with kamara? Did he get injured with Finland? I know he got racially abused again but not heard anything else about why he's out.

Should we be surprised by how little Sky and Sportscene made of Mugabe’s handball at the weekend ? Alfie is through on goal if he doesn’t handle it !!! Three officials within 20 yards and not one spotted it…..apparently.

So my thought, for some time now, after listening to the manager's comments after many games is that it would seem to be the case he's wanting and expecting everything from the game that most fans are wanting. The thing that cannot be ignored though is that the players, for whatever reason, appear not to deliver on his and our expectations. Therefore I can only conclude his message is either too complicated for the players to understand or they lack belief in that message. Regardless, something has to change and change soon because continuing with these turgid displays will only lead to fan disengagement long-term. Surely us fans are not the only ones to see this?

I agree with you about midfield reinforcements David. However, after listening to the interview on the network with Dr Ceri - which is excellent and well worth the listen - I fear we will be looking at more developmental options. He strongly suggested that the current downturn is a natural part of the long-term evolution of the team which implies that we won't be making significant investment to improve in the short-term.

Stephen

Not sure I would play McCrorie against Dundee. Would be expecting Yilmaz, Devine, King and McCann to play . Not sure you can play many more youngsters than that without making the match more difficult than it needs to be.

The midfield is a huge issue. We need to just get to the WC then we've got 4 weeks to reset and go again. During that time I'd hope we get started on work for the January window and potentially get a deal or two done during that period. We've been horrendous so far this season in terms of consistency of performance but we are only 2 points off the top of the league and still in both cups so all to play for.

Lewis Wardrope

On the point of getting midfielders in during the January window, and it being one’s that Gio actually wants. I think we are being fed a lot of tripe when we are told that Gio is involved in the recruitment process. I fail to believe that a Dutch manager, who managed at Feyenoord, who coached at Man.City and managed in China, doesn’t bring in a single player that he managed at Feyenoord or in China, coached at youth level at City, or is Dutch/played in the Dutch league. If he is involved in transfers, then there would surely have been at least one player he trusts, that he’s had some sort of connection with previously that we would have signed. On the goalkeeper for the Dundee game, it has to be McCrorie!

David

The youngsters scudded hearts first team on the last day of the season. Have faith in the youth.

Gregg

If we had a midfielder lined up could we potentially have them train with us in December prior to a move been rubber stamped?

David Kiltie

Interesting discussion about Michael Beale. I tweeted last Thursday morning that if Gio is to go Beale is not a realistic option at present due to his short time at QPR to date. Wouldn’t be surprised to see both him and KT in the hot seat at some point in the future 👍

John leitch

Our midfield needs freshening up We have been unlucky with our injuries overall

Douglas Innes

The fact we've been rumoured with goalkeeprs over the last 18 months tells us loads ..... I feel McCrorie has to play on Wednesday to see if he's capable of at least a No2 spot never mind No1 because it's not as if both our 2 recognised keepers are long term signings

Nick Reilly

I agree mcrorie should be no 2 if he’s long term answer for club. Give the guy a chance see what he can do

Nick Reilly

Just wanted to say about the charity mentioned today NDCS, glad they got a mention as it’s a great cause & they’re great people. Our wee boy is only 5 & he’s deaf & they really helped us 3 years ago quite a lot when we first found out he was.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. Dr Ceri's interview is a must listen. Pumpkins! Quality!

TIMMY TURTON

Great wee Daily Tale David. Enjoyed that… It could well have been a start to todays Conspiracies by the other side nod the City. People would definitely lose they’re mind if it was happen in today’s game. 😁👏🏼
