Great point re Kent or a Sakala like replacement. I think a large majority of the support would keep Kent over a Sakala like replacement. This might seem odd given the goals Sakala has scored, in comparison to the lack of goals from Kent, but it just reflects the general acceptance of how much Kent, goals aside, brings to the team.

What VAR has proved in Scotland is that conspiracy theories and a climate of fear works without it, so you were bang on with your assessment. Those are still issues, because conspiracy theories work and become urban truths after a while. Unfortunately an awful lot of people swallow them and spout them as reasoning. This is why fake news became a thing, because there’s a whole culture in these theories now. This is what happened to us throughout the eighties and nineties, and into the 2010’s, (I refuse to call them the noughties). Constant repeating of bullshit about Rangers, and us the fans, became weaponised through politics, and there has been an attempt to marginalise us through othering. But I know that I’m preaching to the choir here on this. As for Kent? Two things, who do we replace him with? And, do we trust Wilson not to interfere with Beale’s choice because he wants one of his vanity projects in the door? I just don’t know.

Ally isn't wrong, yes our officials are incompetent arseholes, but VAR has totally ruined the game, i know its hear to stay, but i really wish it wasn't, i despise it.

The sooner they come out and explain the decisions afterwards the better - realease a short press release explaining the var decisions referencing the rules etc. Kills the bs stone dead and might educate some pundits too
