David Best interviews Heart and Hand's own Martyn Ramsay about the first part of "Revolution" covering the Souness years and the transition to Walter Smith, based on the wonderful series "Dominant".

As well as wallowing in what Martyn regards as the greatest period of Rangers history, the discussion covers some of the more challenging issues that Rangers and football more generally faced as the 80s gave way to a new world in the 1990s"

Heart and Hand

I enjoyed the book but didn't feel I was in it enough.

Alan Bradley

Same here, what was it about?, cracking pod series, the A team in particular were magnificent. David Best, seem to have met him before at some point. 😂 Seriously, great interview and was smashing hearing Martyn’s thoughts and approach behind this project and pulling it all together within an absolutely cracking book.

I'm just about to finish the Laudrup season on Dominant and it has been an amazing series to this point. Martyn please consider an audiobook version of these volumes as they are fantastic to listen to on the move or in the car.

Gary Brown

Thanks for this latest episode of your books series David, great interview. Wonderful to hear Martyn's opinions and giving even more depth to his absolutely awesome Dominant project/s. Superb Martyn. Thanks again.

Gary Brown

Correct! To enjoy more Edgar and Bradley, listen to the Dominant series of podcasts which accompany this book. Thanks again lads, very well done👍

Good listen. Love the phrase godless protestant. It very much describes me.

Great listen, the 86/87 season is probably the most important, defining of our history. I am of similar age to you David and had seen trebles then the malaise of the early 80's . But that summer of 86 was a time of euphoria and optimism never matched since.

Steven Miller

Excellent listen gents. Davie, are you the Davie Best ex Wishaw Official bus?

Alan Bradley

The very one, was Rangers daft then and still is today. Somethings never change. 😂

Steven Miller

I remember Davie. I was about 3 years younger than him. Used to get on at the Fountain and then when we were a wee bit older from the 202. His mum taught my wife and I English at Coltness HS...small world 🇬🇧

Alan Bradley

As you say small world indeed. Mrs B also taught my daughter at Coltness HS too. Bus still leaves from 202.
