A great listen. Thanks Alan. This helped to pass the bus trip from Olomouc to Vienna

Alex Dingwall

Great job again Alan. That commentator was getting more depressed as each goal went in for the 5-3 game! Must be related to wee Liam at the BBC!

Alan Bradley

He was so close to saying aw ffs as one went in. Also nice to hear Billy McNeil on co-commentary as Gers produced another great comeback. 😂

Mark Brown

Brilliant again Alan. That's the first time I've heard of Modest Mouse 😂. If that tunes anything to go by I'll be seeking them out 👍

LD

Players remembered for one goal, Maurice Edu, you know the goal 😉

Dougie McAllister

First time listening to this podcast, really enjoyed it, thank you Alan 👍🏻

Alan Bradley

Had £5 on for time of first goal between 81 and 90mins in the bookies at East Enclosure. Think it was 20 or 25/1. 😂😂

Alan Bradley

Thanks pal. Yes definitely a Cracking band, have been about since early 90s, various line ups, but consistently fab music. Most recent album was The Golden Casket which was released in summer of 2021. Good News for the People Who Love Bad news and We Were Dead Before The Ship Sank Even (with Johnny Marr) are particular favourites of mine. But lots of great stuff throughout their back catalogue.

Alan Bradley

Thanks Douglas appreciate the feedback. Usually try to cover lots of Gers bits ‘n’ bobs throughout the years and sprinkle some news and music throughout. Old guy ramblings tend to creep in, but glad you enjoyed it.

David Gilhooly

Hi Alan, thank you for a magic show yet again. The Sunderland game you mentioned was the first Broadcast on the Rangers internet stream.

Jim Bennett

I remember listening to the Shelborne game on the radio & thinking so much for Advocaat, but as you said he made the changes to turn it around. The Hibs game was interesting, don't remember it but showed in his debut what Tav was going to bring . Your music always appeals to me particularly Don Henley & James Taylor, 2 absolute legends.

David Baillie

Usual great stuff Alan. Totally agree on the Fergie tribute. I’ve always thought any Rangers team with a core of Gers supporters in the ranks will always show their mettle when times get tough. 92/93 team and 2008 come immediately to mind.

John Walker

Good stuff Again Alan. Was at Tranmere and was on my way out at 3-0 before big jorg got me to sit back down, amazing match. Love into the valley had been to Charlton a few times and they play it as the teams come out. Good format mate , you can never get enough good music. Request maybe a bit of Interpol. Anything from the antics album.

Steffen McAndrew

Consistently excellent show. Great music and nostalgia.

Brian MacRae

Great show Alan with a perfect mix of good music and all things Rangers. I'm 62 so no one knock the oldies lol.

Alan Bradley

Thanks Davie Yep changed days, but like you I always liked a core of Gers supporters in the team. I’m sure as long as the attitude is right and quality we’ll be more than fine. If players have given everything that’s all that matters.

Alan Bradley

What are you like with turnarounds in big games (City play offs too). Interpol noted. 😂

Alan Bradley

Phew, someone older than myself. Apparently age is just a number, it just keeps climbing though.

David Baillie

Can’t argue with that Alan. Who’s your tip for The Open? A wee request for a tune. PIL song. Careering. It’s a bit left field but I saw them doing it live on the OGWT and they were electrifying. Ms Nightingale described it as the most powerful performance she’d ever seen on the Whistle Test. Quite a statement but who am I to argue with the Blessed Annie. Have a guid Fair fortnight.

Alan Bradley

Not sure about the golf, but would be great if there was a fair bit of wind and rain to give them a decent test. Crikey just watched the 8mins plus PIL OGWT. Apologies to wee Annie but it’s not going on, would scare everyone away, however as a reasonable Wishawtonian, a wee catchy PIL song will be included next week. 😂

Andy Sladen

Another great pod Alan and all credit to you keeping it going as well s you have through the summer. Really good music as well. Still think Fergie is one of our most underrated players especially at the time but is looked on fondly by the support. On the music front was going to ask if you fancied lambing a bit of Peter and the test tube babies but will give that a miss and request something by Sham 69 to fit in some time. 😄
