I had a gaffer who's face was badly scarred and pockmarked due to what had obviously been horrendous teenage acne from years ago, this nick name was the Careless Beekeeper

John Johnston

Jack laughing just cracks me up.

Colin

I worked with someone who said he knew a guy called Simba. I asked why... response — Because his uncle killed his dad

Simon

Don’t know why people were complaining about last week. Work place arseholes was dynamite.

Ties into the nicknames/weird colleagues from a week or so ago. Years ago a boy called Ryan started with us. Guy was the spitting image of Drew McIntyre from WWE & was a total oddball. Monday morning he starts. In a conversation with our line manager he asked if his breath was ok (by breathing on said line manager) & told one our drivers that he’d went for 3 shites already that day. Tuesday comes, still a weirdo. Wednesday morning he’s due in. No show. Can’t get a hold of his phone either, so we presume he’d chucked it. Thursday he no shows again, definitely chucked it…. Or so we thought. Friday morning he swans in at 9am like nothings happened. He tells us deadpan that he was having relations with his ex-Mrs & she tied him to the bed and left him for 2 days, hence why he couldn’t come in. Stared at us deadpan again while a group of us burst out laughing. He’s since been christened as “Rygone” as he was sacked hours later. It was brief, but it was beautiful.

Simon

Also, hope your feeling better today big man.

It''s the current (amps) that kills, which is the statement you're thinking about Jack. Power (watts) is equal to the potential difference (volts) multiplies by the current.... think water... voltage is the pressure, current is the rate of flow

Jack Shaw

Cheers. I actually felt better by the end of the recording. Laughter being the best medicine etc.

Bluelacoste
