Host James Donaldson is joined by Tom Smith and Olly Wellock to review the Preliminary Round which took place in the second half of August.

In this week's show:

- FC Romania do it again

- Okehampton Argyle are still the lowest ranked team in the competition

- AFC Rushden & Diamonds rose from the Ashes, but their FA Cup fire is soon put out

- Former 2-time winners Bury are back in FA Cup action after a few seasons in limbo, but not for too long

- and James gets in a pickle over some New Salamis

As requested last week, if there are any listeners based in England who can attend and offer a brief report from any qualification rounds, please get in touch!

Good listen. The fa cup at this stage is better than the later stages. All the stories behind the clubs r great. I remember having a book as a kid about a guy picking one club at the start and following them until they lost then taking on the victoriously club. I think someone did it again about 15 years ago but the original was the best.
