Expecting another season of mediocrity for my Broncos this year🥴

Go Lions 🤞🏻

John Smith

Raiders have so much potential to be serial winners. Just hope they can put it all together

Rona Bluebell

I know nothing about American football, but watching Curb Your Enthusiasm and a Jets fan kills themselves as the team never wins. Are they really that bad?

Douglas Innes

Great pod Ross , hopefully a ring for Joe Burrow

John Smith

I would say that’s an overeaction but yes they’ve always been in the shadow of the Giants

Haha! “He couldn’t take anymore disappointment” Classic! Mind Kevin Arnold wore a NY Jets jacket in the Wonder Years? That was the last time they were good 😅

Douglas Innes

See players that move especially super bowl winners is it just that they're contracts are finished and they're moving for their last big pay day rather than stay with a successful franchise ? I love the game but just kot enough time to get into that side of it

Craig Guthrie

Signed up to obviously listen all about The Rangers but these podcasts are a much welcome addition. Cheers! Go Seahawks!!

Yep, just a balancing act Douglas. The salary cap is $225 mill rn. If you’ve got a star QB on a mega deal that could be like 20-25% of the total. Can’t pay everyone. The 49ers a good example of it going the other way. Young Quarterback ‘only’ on $1 million a year so can spread the money way more around the other skill positions. Depends on priorities. The Draft compounds it all too. But aye all teams pretty much always have some turnaround, successful or not
