Yesterday’s car pod was deleted from the site after a number of abusive posts towards contributors. and a number of subscribers have been banned from the site.

Criticism and debate is always allowed on here but scapegoating people for bad moods after disappointing results is not on.

We have around fifty contributors, there will be some you as a listener don’t enjoy. There should always be alternative viewpoints available here for you to enjoy instead.

Comments

Allan Warnock

Just finished listening to it, what are people going after the podders for exactly? Having an opinion? 😂

Allan MacRitchie

Poor show from those no longer with us and good on you for your swift response Thought the car pod was well balanced yesterday too

Chris Williams

Really sorry to hear that it’s come to this. Every Rangers fan is allowed their own opinion, doesn’t mean they should get abuse for it. I love listening to big Strider. I get his points and might not agree with him at the time. But that doesn’t give me or anybody the right to hurl vitriol at him or anybody for simply having an opinion. Appreciate all the work you and the team do and hopefully this doesn’t mean a sabbatical of the post match pod 😞

Grant Watson

Gutted, I was going to give it a listen today. Well done on maintaining standards

Graeme McLeod

Over the years there's been one or two contributors I wasn't keen on, but wouldn't go out of my way to abuse them in the comments. Don't understand that at all. I can understand criticising an opinion, but not to the extreme it becomes personal. Can't imagine the folk doing it even feel momentarily better after it either. They're directing their anger at the wrong people.

Steven McNeil

Don’t let it change anything you guys do. Idiots will always be about and will always take things too far. But that’s what they are, idiots! We are all allowed our opinions and they can all be different and we can say we disagree but in a respectful way. Please keep the good work coming even if it’s hard watching the current team

Jamie

I admire how you run this community. I didn’t see any abuse but I will say I only listened to the pod this morning so therefore it is likely the abuse would have been deleted already. I do think people should be able to post if they think someone is well off the mark as long as they can outlay why they think that is (like I thought one podder was) but anything personal to the point where it is abusing someone - that isn’t right.

Kenny barnes

folk are acting entitled . Big staff is ma favourite podder.

Jock Paterson

I’ve seen this coming for a wee while now, some folk love the anonymity of online platforms. Glad you’ve bumped a few of the clowns that can’t be civil. Disagree with taking the pod down though.

Chris Macfarlane

Gah, never even got to listen to it! Poor show from anyone who chipped in that way. Did this all come about because Andy McGowan thought the performance showed promise? 😉

Bigticket

I think I can imagine the comments that were likely jumped upon. We are all in this together as Rangers supporters and as such, contributers and subscribers alike should be understanding of other viewpoints. Nobody is an angel, people should give each other a break.

David

I seen some of the comments and thought WTF are these people on. Yes we were all pissed but the lads were only giving an opinion. You should re-upload it Davie/Colin now that the arseholes have been banned.

Scott carson

I might not agree with Strider, but he has as much right as anyone to have an opinion. He certainly shouldn’t be abused for it. Different viewpoints are a good thing. Would be a boring old world if everyone thought the same. We do all want the best for our club. How we achieve that is where the real debate lies.

Gregg

Spot on - some other rangers online content has become polluted with toxicity. Football is subjective in many ways and there’s no need for personal abuse of people giving up their own time and putting themselves out there. Respect to the guys for doing this. Hope the guys keep speaking honestly as differing views make for interesting debate - as long as it’s not talk sport style arguments for arguments sake.

Teddy Lasso

Aw ffs I ususlly listen to it day after when I'm out for a walk. Twats ruining it.

conor docherty

I agree David. I certainly don’t agree with a lot of what some on the car pod believe at the moment, but respectfully disagree, and respect that they have a difference of opinion. I really would hate to see H&H turn into an echo chamber.

Martin Sutherland

What a shame. Big fan of the car pod. My running playlist this evening has took a hit 😅

alisdair arkless

Shocking, don't people realise that the podders are supporters of the team also and feel the same ups and downs that we do also. There are one or two of the podders who I ain't overly keen on, no reason for it, but just don't like them, I just don't listen to things they are in and that's it. No need for any abuse. Please don't let it stop you all doing the great job you are doing, take care

Alan Weir

I hope the ban is permanent. One of the joys of Heart and Hand - and there many - is that, on the whole, it doesn’t seem to attract the mental cases of Follow Follow who post for reactions and attention in a ‘voice’ they would never use in real life. Do we really need the opinions of fruitcakes as part of the H and H experience?

David

And rightly so. Been on here from day 1 and it’s never had an element that crossed the line. We all have our opinions, and I’ve not agreed with many including some of those on the car pod, but it’s where you have a debate and if it can’t be agree then you respectfully agree to disagree.

George Higgins

Agree totally. I had very different opinions from what I heard on the pods after the Celtic and Motherwell games but it’s all about opinions. I like an instant reaction pod but a downside to it is that both podders and listeners haven’t had time for a more balanced reaction to what they’ve seen.

Jamie Gilchrist

Shouldnt have removed the pod. Its the comments that are disgusting, not the content.

Scott Dickson

It’s a game of opinions, you can disagree but abuse isn’t acceptable and well done for acting on it. I imagine the majority have made their minds up on Beale, but let’s not forget that we had many sub par performances in title winning seasons including under the Godfather himself, Walter Smith. Whilst this isn’t an excuse and we need to see some resemblance of a cohesive game plan, this constant toys out the pram and abuse towards others isn’t acceptable or sustainable.

Jim McCutcheon

Everyone is allowed there opinions surely that's the point talking over issues regarding the team and management, we obviously are going to have different views on what's happening

Ross Whitehead

Shocking. Don't take your anger and frustrations with the team out on people that give up their spare time to entertain us. It ruins it for everyone else.

Declan Cairns

Personally I can see both sides. That’s twice I’ve listened to the car pod and felt like my opinion was mental based on comments from a couple contributors. There were some comments that were out of line 100% but I definitely think that leaning into the ‘controversial podder’ vibe will work for some and not for others. It’s a good place on here, don’t want to see that change

Stevie Batchelor

Abusing fellow fans for debating the thing we all love is as sad to hear. It’s their loss as now they have lost all the content you guys spend huge amounts of your own time on. Must be deflating when this sort of things happen. Keep up the great work!

Steve23

I listened and thought it was a good balanced discussion, Alex and Kev both gave a good account of the game and it’s great when the podders have differing opinions and discuss their viewpoints respectfully. Colin always manages the discussions well. This is not the place for that BS, it’s a shame the pod was deleted because of the arseholes this community sometimes attracts. The guys doing the car pod should know that the vast majority of us enjoy their input, at the end of the day they are just fans like the rest of us discussing the game, and they do know what they are talking about. I’m sorry you had to put up with that lads but f*ck them and keep up the great work, don’t ever stop doing what you do.

Dougie

Disgusting! If we we’re all the same it would be very boring!! BUT to abuse someone because they have a different viewpoint is simply not on! This platform has always been a safe place for sensible adult debate! Long may H&H stay that way, Well Done David for a swift and correct response 👏👏

Neil

No need for any abuse. Frustrating as things get can’t be taking it out on podders. H&H will be a better place with out those banned

Ryan Lynch

Didn't even get round to listening to it yet. Some people like to use online anonymity to be arseholes. Glad you banned those you seen fit to. None of the podders deserve abuse.

Ralph Wiggum

I listened to it and thought it was absolutely fine. All good podders so hope they're not put off. I do think this probably shows the support are at breaking point and will spill over at some point this season but that turning into abuse of other fans is absolute idiocy.

Colin Kennedy

That’s poor darts. We all hold differing opinions, even in close friend groups. Why do we think we can treat people online different? These pods are also straight off the bat. It’s raw and you might reflect again and you might not. This is the best platform for Rangers debate. Let’s keep the car pod alive and kicking and accept life isn’t perfect!

Alek K

If everyone had the same opinion constantly on shows like this it would make for some boring listening, couldn't believe some of the comments I was reading on that post. Fair play to H&H for cleaning up the place, toxic individuals spreading hate to podders over a difference of opinion rightfully has no place here.

Richard McLuckie

I was going to listen to this on my work travels & wondered where it went to. We all have opinions and they will never be homogeneous but to abuse folk for having a different one to you is arsehole level and glad these people are gone. This site has, in the main, been balanced when it comes to RFC and hope that continues

John McDonald

It was a good health debate! The car pod often changes my initial reaction to disappointment, as I can be a bit ranty , and need a bit of perspective. I really like that the guys can disagree, but still give each other time to get their viewpoints over. I despair at the immaturity of some of our fans at times.

Doug

It's disappointing to hear some saw fit to abuse the podders on yesterday's show. They do nothing but ruin it for the rest of us (I was looking forward to listening to the car pod today) and run the risk of turning podders off of the excellent work they do on the network. I hope whomever was on the pod yesterday and received the abuse are feeling okay, and know that so many of us love the diverse opinions H&H provides and welcome open discourse on the team and the club. Unfortunately I see an increasing level of bitter, constantly negative reaction online these days. There's a growing inability in a certain subsection of fans to be unable to enjoy any aspect of the club or players, so desperate are they for silverwear that nothing else can be viewed positively without it. While we all share the hunger for trophies, it should not and can not come at the abuse of anyone, certainly not those providing us a service and helping us make sense of the sometimes madness that is Rangers. I wish the podders well and hope people will think twice before venting their anger on those whom are fellow fans and ultimately share the same goal we all do, to see a successful Rangers.

Heart and Hand

99.9% of people are fine but there are always one or two who ruin it and they then create an atmosphere where it happens here.

Rona Bluebell

Do hope the car pod people don’t take it to heart. Must always be a safe and considerate space 💙

Colin Campbell

The comments turning abusive isn’t acceptable. Podders with a different opinion is helpful to demonstrate the different views across the support. I don’t agree with some of the opinions shared during the car pods this season, but it doesn’t mean they should be shouted down. Think the team and David do a great job of managing the site and network.

James Macleod

Abuse wasn’t necessarily. I’m finding it hard to listen to after bad results and performances that’s all down to a different view of things so like I said yesterday that’s the last one I listen to for a bit. There never is a need to abuse the content creators.

Ross Monro

Good. If you can't handle an opinion without resorting to name calling then this isn't the place for you.

Nikky Cairney

Abuse isn’t acceptable. Disagreement however should be. Can’t help but feel Alex enjoys having his opinion that he knows will annoy certain fans, as he continually says I will take my abuse after saying whatever he says. Just call it as it is. It was a shambolic performance regardless of injuries . And we shouldn’t need to temper our expectations at home to Motherwell with that squad available. We’ve had almost full squads available through your the start of the season and the performances have been the same. And the fans have every right to boo even after a win when the performance was that bad, added to 11 months of nothingness. Get the manager out while we are still in touching distance.

Heart and Hand

I mean, I call Alex a big dick most of the time but in a charming way :-)

John Buchan

Leave my hero alone Andy is voice of balanced reason on H&H especially on finance issues 🤣

David

You should re-upload it Davie, now the arseholes are gone. Loads of folk are still waiting to hear it. Don't let they fuckers ruin it for everyone else. All of us true H&H loyal are behind the creators whether we agree with them or not.

Craig Watson

I like that I don't have the same views on Rangers, the management and the players as someone else. I listen to the podcast to open my ears to other people point of view. I find it heartbreaking that "supporters" will behave in a manner not acceptable to Rangers supporters. Correct decision by the site.

Heart and Hand

'You're wrong IMHO and here's why....' is fine. Name-calling and insults, nah. We have the same rule if any listener was on too.

Brian Johnstone

Well done David. I was hoping you might take some action. Put your opinions in by all means, but personal abuse is abhorrent and not to be tolerated.

Doug Young

Love the car pod. Even late into the evenings, I wait for it with baited breath, whether to bask in shared glory (rare), see if I shouted sweary words at the same time as the lads (more common) or to shake my head when I don't agree. Folk should listen to Alex on the preview show to see how much thought he puts into these games. And while I don't agree on a few things lately, I still want to hear why I might be wrong or why something mental to me might actually make sense.

Andrew Hillis

Managed to listen to car pod on way home and immediately thought that the lads would get unnecessary pelters for some of the views being put forward. It’s healthy to have a debate and ultimately to agree to disagree sometimes - but outright abuse of podders and let’s not forget staunch rangers fans is a total disgrace! Unfortunately Horrific performances often leads to disgusting and disfunctional behaviour from some of our fans. Hopefully the lads can dust themselves off and get back on the horse starting Wednesday night.

Jim Lamb

Abuse of podders who are fellow supporters isn’t on.

Chris McFadyen

Jeso!! Bang goes my Monday in the van Pod Different opinions are good, but no need to abuse Podders on here

stephen

This shit needs to stop. What are we fucking doing.......

Craig Armstrong

That's a disgrace. I listened this morning and despite not agreeing entirely with their thoughts there's nothing wrong with there beliefs. Can't believe there's abuse of podders

Heart and Hand

We've stuck it back up because you are right, a few idiots shouldn't stop thousands listening if they want to.

Angus Mackay

No need for abusing fellow bears , we all support the same club, the podders aren’t the 11 on the pitch . Some of our fans are embarrassing

Gary Mckendry

Get them out, no need for abuse to fellow bears.

Andy Sladen

Sad to see and hear people giving the lads abuse. Yesterdays car pod and the views from Alex in particular actually made me think a bit more about the performance and other issues we have rather than just my initial reaction. I truly hope the lads are ok and continue doing the pod. I look forward to it after every game and is played immediately. 100% correct to ban anyone who make offensive or abusive remarks!!

Hamish Rankin

I listen to the car pod after every game. Opinions and ideas are very fresh. Don’t people listen to this pod for opinions?! Why do people want opinions but then get angry when they don’t agree with it?!

Stephen Riddell

Always seems to be the car pod where the issues happen.. listening to it seems like one voice over powers the rest and hijacks the show and that's probably why folk get angry.. but good to see it's back up for others to listen .. all about opinions.. Even if it's against majority of support

Alan Coleman

Completely agree with your actions and there is no place for abuse of fellow bears. Sadly though its quite revealing regards where we are as a club at the moment

Steve23

Alex simply offers his opinion, I don’t always agree but I like the way he will make his point regardless, Kev and him held opposing views yesterday. The pod would be pointless if the contributors didn’t say what they feel. I think Alex always says ‘I’ll take my abuse’ because he knows not everyone will agree with his opinion but he’s honest enough to make it. It’s not to annoy anyone, he’s a fan, he should be able to make his point without worrying about abuse coming his way. If we disagree, we just post in here respectfully and the podders will read and respond. It’s great you can listen to these guys then communicate with them straight after the pod through the comments section. There is no need for anyone to be an arsehole about it though, I would encourage anyone posting a comment to ask themselves, would they say the same thing in the same tone if the guy was standing having a pint with them?

James JCDCoaching

The car pod is a great addition to match days. I don't get to see every game, and the car pod gives me an excellent sense of the action, especially if I've only seen the goals myself. Go to the forums if you wanna act like an incomprehensible moron. Thanks to all contributors across all shows

Pondo Sinatra

If people actually listened to Alex they might notice that he always backs up any viewpoint with reasoning. It doesn’t mean that he’s always right but there’s always a rationale behind what he says. It would be a boring old world if we all held the same opinions. Abuse of podders is Timmy-like behaviour.

Bill McCairns

I completely agree with the actions that you have taken. I don’t always agree with what I hear. However, there is absolutely no excuse for abuse of any sort.

Andrew Meldrum

I listened to it on the way home, though listened to the press conference pod first. So I knew already that Beale had said that Roofe and Sima couldn't have done the full game, and was pretty impressed at Strider for getting his interpretation of first substitution right. Certainly no need to take anger at the performance out on the podders!

Chris Scott

The guy has been spoiling for a fight on pods and FF since the OF car pod where he did actually take pelters. I never seen any abuse on the thread, just folk disagreeing with what he said.

Steve23

I agree with a few here, the pod should go back up now that the roasters have been binned. I listened to it on a long drive home last night, great debate, I started off disagreeing with Alex but he changed my mind by the end of the pod.

Ian Bone

Really disappointed that this has happened. This is the only online Rangers forum I get involved with now, and the reason is that it has been an oasis of common sense. This place has been unique in the fact that people would debate in a sensible and respectful manner. I hope you take strong action and ban those involved and anyone else in the future who can't discuss issues and concerns without resorting to abuse.

Terry

Better hearing a full range of views rather than the party line sometimes. Keep it up. And bin the abuse

Laura McCrimmon

Glad to see it back up and abusers binned. I listened on a drive home last night and personally found the debate between the guys a good laugh. We all have differing opinions and don't need to like each other's but at no point should we think it's ever acceptable to abuse someone for just thinking a bit differently. Even worse there was no glossing over by any of them that the performance was garbage and needs improved.

Steve23

I’ve made a decision, if big Alex Staff doesn’t zip it I’m going to glue myself to the EH stage at the next live show! Just Stop Oil stylee. Anyone else in? :)

Derek Johnston

Anyone who gives Strider it tight has never had the pleasure of meeting him. You’ll struggle to meet a nicer guy.

David Bradford

Agree. So without having listened and thus ultimately lacking context, here's my 2p no one asked for. There's are podders whom I'm far more inclined to listen to, especially after a defeat or a poor performance because their views more closely mirror mine and we all just want the right type of greetin meeting in times like that so I didn't listen yesterday when I saw the people who were contributing. That doesn't mean I don't like them as humans or that I wouldn't if I met them. It means they view the route to success at Rangers differently to me but ultimately we both want the same thing, a successful Rangers. These lads are giving up their time to provide you with content on our favourite topic. If you don't like it, I'm with you but ffs be an adult and agree to disagree or don't listen at all.

Andrew Hunter

Well done David. Abuse of anyone on this platform is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

Michael James McLeod

Good get rid of those types. H&H on patreon has been a safe place for all view points and discussions over the years and needs to stay that way! As much as I don't agree with much strider said I respect his views and opinions, he remains one of my favourite podders.

Gordon McCool

Such a shame that it got to this stage. Big Strider may not share the opinions of the masses but he’s not doing it (IMO) to create argument, he always backs his opinion with why it’s his opinion.

Chris Watson

The boys did well after watching that yesterday couldn’t disagree with any of it and had a lol moment with the still game stevie reference keep up the good work guys 👏🏻

Charlie Nicolson

Agree entirely with the sentiment of the notes below this post. In the main I find H&H a good listen. It's not the fault of any podder that times are presently difficult.

Joe Burns

H&H is by far the best platform for news, views, opinions & chat about Rangers. Thanks David, and all Podders, for making it so. When the team is performing poorly, we, Subscribers and Podders alike, all have our views, they will differ. Frustration at the team and management is understandable, but at H&H?

Colin Gardner

Getting thoughts right after a game will always be a emotional and its only until we've all calmed down and looked back on it or watched it again do we getva clearer picture in our mind.Maybe we all need to think about that when listening to the car pod as sometimes I don't agree with a lot that's been said then let the dust settle and end up seeing where the podders are coming from. Keep up the good work guys as its a must listen too.

Jamiedfa

Love the car pod, fans like us telling how it is, shame as I started listening to it this morning.

stefan strzelecki

Having listened to the full post match car pod today, I don’t understand why anyone would want to behave enraged to any of the podcasters . I think the point about supporters booing a win, demanding a visceral interpretation to be evident at all times throughout any game, to be systematic of a gluttonous expectation of football supporters today. Post match the manager informed that both roofe and sima didn’t start due to potential niggling injury concerns , and the forward planning to secure their appearance on Wednesday. The reason I subscribe is to hear , read debate about a club we all love and care about. I include Michael Beale in this . We should and must treat each other with respect. Through times of adversity , surely this is the time to show protectionism to each other? Until the manager leaves mutually or otherwise, is it too much for the support to put all effort to help the club players and management team with every ounce they have. That’s when the real power of the club prevails. The Rangers support doesn’t suit populism , if the manager isn’t up to the job, trust the board to decide the action to be taken. Let’s keep positive , and help each other through this.

Alan Spiden

I was appalled to read of the abuse directed to certain podders. I love the fact that this site is one where you can hold a contrary viewpoint to someone without getting that sort of stick. Alex‘s views on yesterday’s game and current situation were diametrically opposed to mine as I left the ground in a rage at the performance, but after listening to him, I found myself asking if he didn’t in fact have a good point. Honest and polite debate is the hallmark of Heart and Hand and long may that continue.

Colin Ferguson

Very sad to hear this, there's no need for it. Especially towards the podders who take the time to give us feed back on the match when it's good or bad, they never let us down. It's just 4 guys discussing the game and giving their points of view.. Keep up the good work lads, it's much appreciated 👌

Andy Steven

Agree 100%. The podcasts are always delivered in a measured, objective and honest manner reflecting accurately the games and events around the club. I listen virtually every day, and enjoy all the Podders comments. It's the perfect antidote to the madness of the Follow Follow fans forum, which is littered with insane OTT comments. Keep it up lads as you are doing a great job.

Kris

I am becoming more and more disillusioned at being associating with large parts of the Rangers support.

David MacT

Said it on another post but there's some amount of arrogance amongst our online support. Utter clowns who genuinely get angry if people don't completely agree with their viewpoint.

bluedan1873

I didn't finish the pod, think i got just over halfway through it and was going to finish it later. What was the abuse? Disappointing to hear this happened. Having been a podder on H&H and having my own shows in the past, abuse is always going to be there. Sure it's water off a ducks back to the car pod lads.

Jimmy Price

I disagreed with some of the points made on the car pod yesterday. But that’s par for the course. Nothing wrong with debate, but abuse is different and should never be allowed. No matter how pissed off one may feel about a result or performance, abuse of anyone, podder or listener is never acceptable. Keep it classy.

John Smith

People were going after Alex saying he shouldn’t be so positive. I was getting stick as well for explaining this is not a place to be hurling abuse at people expressing their own opinion. Fortunately the 🤡 s have now left the building

Steffen McAndrew

I thoroughly enjoy the postmatch car pod (even though it needs the Paul Newman song back ASAP). I love listening to the different viewpoints from the guys. I have personal experience of the "cancel culture" and it is extremely unpleasant. We should be able to disagree AGREEABLY. Keep going lads. Fantastic work.

Steve23

Hi mate, is your position based on match day behavior or online content? The online stuff is a loud minority who love to be heard and love to hide. People who have forgotten real life is actually outside their front door and not in chat forums and social media platforms. The vast majority of the support are pissed off with the team at the moment, most are normal sensible people though.

Kris

Hi Steve, a bit of both to be honest; I only dip my toe into social media on the odd occasion and I find it toxic. Once upon a time, I convinced myself that it was mischievous opposing fans laughing at us by making comments whilst kidding that they were Gers fans; sadly I realised that that was only the case in the minority of cases. As for match days, I think fans booing a win or demanding that a manager be sacked after the 1st game of the season isn’t going to help the club over the long term.

Ian Cartledge

As others have mentioned I would hate to see the car pod binned. Being based in London its great to get the podders reaction straight after the match. Although you may disagree with podders opinions there is no need for abuse. Please keep up the good work guys.

Greg McEwen

The absolute correct approach for you to take so well done for taking it. Lively debate is part of football but it never justifies any form of abuse and should be treated with zero tolerance (as is your right as the provider after all) On the pod itself (and only to pick out the views which were most memorable) I completely understand Kev’s viewpoints after watching that and likewise thought Alex articulated valid points throughout. It represents the same sorts of back and forths I go through in my own mind about how I would proceed in the circumstances The present situation is frustrating and the reality is that there is no easy answer as to how to proceed. But the major benefit of fan media is the ability to put together a community of podders and listeners who are passionate, knowledgable and all able to share ideas and perspectives about the club we love (rather than main stream click bait nonsense designed to evoke strong reactions) So anyone who thinks the podders (or any) here is fair game for abuse then they can roundly fuck right off to Daily Mail comments sections for their kicks as this content is clearly wasted on them For the podders, keep up the excellent work and never sell out your own viewpoint or conform to what is “popular” to think about the situation.

WILLIAM JACK

Baffled as to why anyone would get so upset with what seemed a reasonably balanced pod. Personally, I preferred Alex Staff's more fact and logic based assessment rather than some of the other podders takes but there was nothing to merit the abuse of any podder. The whole point of the car pod is to get that rawer, more immediate take that may well change (or not) once the dust has settled and game has been rewatched. Really hope the car pod carries on as it is a staple after any game. Also hope Staff Snr realises that for every banger who sends him abuse there are loads of people who either agree with his take or at least respect it and don't feel the need for performative venting. Keep up the good work, lads.

Colin Baxter

Love the car pod, glad you have banned the morons who were being abusive

Scott Watson

David, you deserve a lot of credit for this. It'll no doubt cost you a few quid and likely a far larger toll in aggravation It's so easy to say "Ach, internet is full of nonsense, just ignore it" and sure, none of us can police twitter or facebook, but if we never call people out, that behaviour spreads everywhere Credit to you for drawing a line

Ross Guild

What a nonsense. Good job Davie 👍🏻

Taximan2002

FFS, that pretty poor behaviour from some. I listened yesterday while at work and was actually arguing back with Alex and totally disagreeing with his optimistic self but I’d never abuse or fall out about it. We’re all allowed opinions but some go just too far…!!

Andy McKellar

Keep up the good work guys. As a listener it’s much appreciated. Enjoy many of the pods including the regular car pod. We should be able to disagree or hold different opinions without turning on our own.

Paul Holst

Can you imagine the old days (pre-social media) when you wander into the boozer and call one of your fellow fans a fucking prick just because you didn’t like his take on our tactics or team selection? You’d go home most Saturdays with a sore face 😂

Andrew Hind

We are all Rangers fans and should respect different viewpoints, most of us do so good to see the idiots who abused the podders got booted

Martin Boyd

Glad and sorry this had to be done you can’t have loudmouths belittle podders for their opinion on games. There is a generation of folk who have grown up with social media who don’t understand the idea of being civil when not agreeing .Shouting down and belittling seems to be the way with them especially if they get someone to pile on with them. Only podder who deserves criticism is Colin for his appalling taste in music.😃

Don Maclean

One of the reasons the network is so successful is because it brings together folk from across the spectrum. Without constructive debate, things would be pretty boring. Unfortunately it’s the way things have gone online, there’s no reasoned debate to be had. Fair enough we can disagree and argue, but resorting to abuse is above and beyond. My favourite show is ‘The Preview’ and that’s because Alex, Stevie and Kev come at it from different viewpoints, it makes for good listening. Keep doing what your doing Alex, always appreciate hearing your thoughts. 👊💥

Stephen

Alex is one of the best podders on the network. Some people need to stay away from the internet if they can’t cope with a bad football performance. No need to take out their anger on others. Not sure how you can get angry at someone having an optimistic outlook!

Vinnie

I never thought I’d read that on H&H! Hope the people affected are okay and aren’t put off.

Scotty

Behaviour unworthy of the countries premier club & support. Thanks for all that you do.

Sandy Innes

Are we still allowed to slag Cammy's music choices?

Graeme Macpherson

I generally find I agree with Alex - he tends to look at things logically rather than emotionally. Personally I enjoy his contribution to all the shows. He's right on FF more often than not too - again cause he's not one to get caught up in hyperbole. And yes, I know he's not gonna shag me 🤣

Abuse isn’t needed but let’s be honest here, irrespective of injuries, we’re spending a helluva lot more money than Motherwell. IMHO, Motherwell were the better team and if they had a decent forward, they were skelping us on Sunday. It’s bad enough that even their manager is saying that he’s surprised with how bad we were.

Ross Mcfarlane

Well said. I haven’t agreed with Alex the last couple of car pods but wouldn’t dream of dishing out abuse. I wonder what goes through these people’s tiny minds.

Stewart Robertson

The reason I joined H&H was because of the shit Sammy and Hoggy get from that rag red-top. We're a family. It's us against the rest. It should never happen between Bears.

Alan Murdoch

Poor showing. The guys are giving their honest feedback on the games. If folk don't like a powder, or disagree with an opinion there's no need for that. Turn off / agree to disagree. Nobody is forcing you to listen. PS Keep doing your thing Alex. You have been doing a great job

Graeme Burns

Well done David Edgar - 100% agree

Steve23

Similar to me Kris. I don’t do social media other than H&H and FF. The point you make about fan reaction after the first game of the season is bang on, that was depressing. I think most of the genuine well balanced fans are just fed up now waiting for the return of the good times. Every time I think we have turned a corner something else seems to come into play and it feels like another 2 steps back. The normally silent minority are vey vocal now, that’s why I think the manager as passed the point of no return sadly. I don’t boo the team, wouldn’t boo a defeat far less a win but I do understand the frustrations.

Probably Tim's Good riddance WATP No surrender

Saddened to hear this had to be done. This isn't bbc sportsound or radio clyde. It's us. Rangers fans. Even if you do disagree, it should never become personal. I've disagreed plenty times, but its not necessary to tell them that every time. Just mutter "Ach, pish.", keep listening (or, you know, just turn it off), and carry on with your day. No need for abuse. I love the car pods an match reactions and all the podders involved. I need them more after shit performances than good ones so keep them coming - well, hopefully not, but ye ken whit I mean 😁🤣

Graham Hendry

We have an element of moronic fuckwits in our support - bang out of order

Rose Mcloughlin

Well done guys....we are all down just now and not enjoying our football...later we listening in to hear how others are feeling..its like supporting each other...but never never would I abuse you guys even if there are parts I might not agree with..its just another point of view..but I think of heart and Hand as a major part of my Rangers Family...thanks

Scott Henry

I love tuning into the pod and hearing guys holding the same opinions as me (eg we’ve seen enough from Dessers, he’s pish) but I also like hearing other opinions when there is some explanation behind it. Assuming it was Strider copping the flak, I like how he always backs up his opinions with something rather than just blurting it out or being contrary for the sake of it. Hope this doesn’t make any of the podders hold back from putting their opinions out there.

John MacRae

It’s getting embarrassing now with some of our lot and how they are speaking about our own. Disagree - fine. Abuse - not a chance. Well done for banning. Love to every single one of you. WATP 💙

Greig Chambers

Best wishes to Alex, not easy to put yourself out there and do what you guys do. Dont let a few morons spoil something that you enjoy doing. Love the car pod as its raw emotions without watching it back, so an honest opinion. Dont think theres another show like that. Keep up the great work guys. We’re all feeling it just now because we love Rangers so much but lets not take that out on each other, thats what that other mob do….not us! WATP

Stephen Fraser

Always been a big fan of the car pod, and Alex's input for that matter. Full support to al the podders and hopefully you can take comfort and assurance that the overwhelming majority of us are grateful for the pod. Much love.
