Happy birthday Johnnie. Long time no see, hope your doing well mate.

Also Brian Connolly of The Sweet born 5th October. You are right about Rod Stewart Alan his early stuff was really good Every picture tells a story was a brilliant album which I still listen too now and then. Sadly he started this weird relationship with them which tainted everything he had done previously for me. I was also born 5th October so Happy Birthday to us Johnnie 🥳

Johnnie Mitchell

Thanks Ross. Nice to hear from you. I’m still plodding away in here. Hope you’re all well 👍🏻

Johnnie Mitchell

Really enjoyed recording that with you Alan. Thanks again

Great pod Alan, Johnnie. Pre Davie Cooper it was Tommy McLean for me. One of our creative players that I’d always look forward to see playing. Also, every manager leaves some sort of legacy, Morelos. Feel bad for Beale, I wanted him to do well. The Raskin, Cantwell and Butland promise and those that may come good.

Alan Bradley

Yeah wee Calimero was really underrated, smashing wee player. Really intelligent too either on the wing or inside, say when he linked up with Bobby McKean.

Angus Mackay

David Bill

Great show boys Some cracking games in there

Robert Thorburn

That gentleman has an excellent birthday. Same as mine! Also shared with Brian Johnson of AC/DC.

John Walker

Great stuff 2 good mates having a good yarn about the gers. A relief from the shit this team is putting us through. Love that Cooper free kick I think it was better than the one v the sheep. The first leg at Easter Rd will live with me forever as well , utter carnage after the match on the way back to Waverley station. Happy birthday to Johnnie ( great name). Pencil me in Al 5 Feb.

David Baillie

Great show lads. Great memories, great tunes. Hearing Bobby McKean get a mention reminded me of sitting next to his mum at Tannadice the night we won the league in 76. What a player he was. Fondly remembered. Keep up the good work.

Alan Bradley

Thanks David, as you say fondly remembered, was a cracking player, such a tricky player, old tanner ball type winger. So sad for such a talent to pass at such a young age.

David Best

Great show mate. 2 out of 3

Derek Murray

3 oot of 3 … it’s the movies that give it away for me 🤪 I was at at 2 out of the 3 games and some fantastic memories brought back as if it was yesterday with the old man. Also really enjoyed the change in format - like an early Morcambe and wise !
