Got that single! I'm sure the B side had 2 songs , both recorded live. The other one was a cover of Running Bear they did at a concert in Troon that I was at.

And there I was beginning to think all that University education was starting to pay dividends. Back to the drawing board. Happy Christmas pal, hope you and the family had a great time.

David Best

What’s that old saying about an academic is someone who knows more and more about less and less? All good mate

John Walker

Good stuff Alan, Gerards reaction was priceless oh how he must regret leaving. SLF , Ramones and the damned what's not to like. Got my Christmas present from the daughter and me and her are going to see the damned in march .

Andy Sladen

Great pod again Alan and thanks for playing the requests. Some great tunes there! Mind you Ernie at number 1 brought back some memories - my middle name after my grandad!! Hope you had a great Christmas!

You’re welcome pal. Think I was still at Primary and everyone was singing Ernie. Benny Hill, strange times indeed. 😂

Derek Murray

Happy Christmas 🎅🏿 Excellent tunes and some fabulous memories !! All the best xxx

David Baillie

Great stuff with some legendary bands there Alan. I was at the Easter Road, Christmas Day game. The place erupted when big Stein scored that late winner against a very good Hibs side. Would this have been the last time we played on Christmas Day?

Dougie McAllister

Thanks Dougie, much appreciated, it’s like searching for the Holy Grail with that jingle, I’ll get there eventually. 😂
