Interesting to hear all your thoughts on transfers. I agree with Hoggy that there isn’t a causality between signing a striker and winning the league. The manager will be vocal with his thoughts to the board about the need for forward reinforcements. Personally I think Dessers is getting off lightly because Clement has no other options. Look at what he did to Lammers. From the very start he said everyone had a fresh start but away from the cameras he knew Lammers was never good enough and shifted him as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Chances are we won’t see Lammers again and Dessers will get the same treatment in the summer.

I would be astounded if we win the league without improving the forward line. If Clement does win a title with Dessers as his striker and Wright and Matondo featuring heavily then he deserves a statue! Clement doing such a good job in such poor conditions since he game in shouldn't be used to have an outlook that suggest things are fine as is.

Fully agree with Hoggy lads, Airdrie's pitch is the only one that looks and plays true. If you can look true haha. You saw that when the Girls beat Celtic the other day. Great pod.

Also, have to politely disagree with Alex when he says getting a 30 goal a season player is a thing of the past. Firstly, take a look across the city and see how money well spent gets you an excellent goal return season after season. Alfredo Morelos cost us £1 Mil and scored 20 odd goals a season and he never played in half the games through suspension. If he had been refereed to the same standard as the rest of Scottish football then he would have been right around 30 a season. It all comes down to how the money is spent.

Great preview show. We do need a striker now but we need the right striker at the right price (as always) and that’s very hard to do domestically, Shankland (or even Miovski) have a Rangers added tax. And trying to get the right type from abroad isn’t easy. One thing not discussed, and this is my problem with Cantwell. Where is he on the scorers sheets? He clearly wanted to be in the 10 position. He’s been there and goals wise I’d be expecting 10 minimum, 15 for a good season and 20 in a great season. Nowhere near it. Has to be more from that position or get somebody else in. Or play Fabio Silva in there.

Brilliant as ever guys. A new striker is an absolute must. Even a loan deal if we can't get our main targets. If not we'll struggle and the anger will be palpable towards the board.

Have played on the pitch at Falkirk which was pretty good and used to train and play at Spartans and their pitch is class. Is a quality thing though I’d still ban them in the top flight
