Goldsons fault for the goal?? Christ almighty, Souttar gets caught under the ball, Goldson comes across to cover & Souttars loses his 2nd man in seconds & marking space in the box. Could Goldson have stopped the cross, sure but ffs to blame him solely is wild.

I think most people watching on tv thought the issue with the RC goal was Souttar not Goldson.

Mixed feelings on your comments regarding dessers ... agree if we win the league (sorry WHEN) Dessers would have played a massive part in that but games like tonight we must be converting chances .. 21 shots on target and 3 goals .. just not good enough .. we can say football was good , there keeper played a blinder etc etc but the reality is if we narrowly miss out on say goal differnce these are the games that will hurt us ... and know we've spoke at length about the failing to sign a striker in the window but a player like shankland would have scored at least 2 .. that's the differnce between say him and dessers I love just about everything about the gaffer but gotta say I thought he got it wrong tonight ... Silva wasn't going to set the game alight on a cold wet night in glasgow coming off thr bench cold on 70 Min mark .. I thought dessers should have stayed on the park as he was causing them problems and by playing Silva up with him might have freed a bit more space ... but listen 3 points and a win is massive as we march to the top Agree with goldson shout ... you just worry that at any moment the defence will switch off ... but in fairness what a cross and finish Shout out to Lunny thought he was brilliant tonight

Alex spot on tonight with his comment. Great assessment of reality of where are and the squad strength. Cant agree more with the opinion on the CBs it’s bemusing why Souttar is assumed to be the rotation guy when this seasons he has been available and to me the best of the defenders. I don’t think Goldson is a bad player at all but he seems a bit of a sacred cow who can’t be criticised when our two most recent goals have come from a striker out muscling him. The guy is a good player, he has a lot of very good assets as a player and leader but he’s not as good as folk make out in my own opinion. That being said the big thing Clement has done is re-engage most of the fans to the idea of squad being the big thing not a core 11. He constantly preaches that attack and defence are team functions not on individuals and I buy into it. We rarely have moments of single player failure and even after the ball comes across Ridvan could do better in the middle. Good goal from County’s perspective though and we need to remember the other team is there to compete too. Delighted for Dessers, great to see the midfield raining shots in and overall a great performance for me. That’s as complete an attacking output as I have seen from every player starter or sub. On another day we score 5 or 6 and the misses or saves don’t bother me against the control we had. If we get that every week from the team we will end the season very very happy. Thoroughly enjoyed that game and Clements presser afterwards was spot on.

I get what people are saying about the patience required about a title race but I think why lots of fans are frustrated is the amount of changes we pass up which we won’t get against a hearts/Celtic etc. This could come back to bite us if we don’t sort out the finishing and is why loads of us wanted another centre forward who would have scored more if they chances Dessers had

Fully get that Souttar was at fault for the goal but Goldson is the weak link in that defence. He gets bullied in the air in either box and seems to duck at headers so it comes off the top or back of his head. He gets too tight to the loan striker at times who he pushes and pulls and gets turned. Hopefully just a bad patch but his pace, passing, touch and game awareness are miles off. Can’t believe Zanders comments about Tav, 3 assists and with Lundstram constantly driving team forward. Lawrence excellent for first hour, really going to be an asset for the rest of the season.

Up until 90th min it would've taken 1 mistake or 1 moment of brilliance and it's 2-2 , out of all the chances the Scott Wright chance frustrated me the most , he's obviously so short on confidence that he felt squaring it was a better option than take the shot on him himself ...... but I fear this eats into the fan pressure coming from the stands because we are in a title race .... properly

Almost every goal Rangers concede can be tracked back to Souttar. Struggle to understand why so many podcasters are unable to see/acknowledge this. He usually makes a glaring error every single game. The support need to get a grip though, wetting their pants because we took too long to get a 3rd. Our biggest danger is ourselves, not Celtic.

Souttar was not caught under the ball. Caught under the ball means you misjudge the flight of the ball, nothing you can do if someone lobs its over your head. Goldson stops the cross no goal.

Dessers took both his goals brilliantly and was close to a first half hattrick. I don't think any of his misses were real gimmes.

Thanks for the Carpod guys. Anyone moaning about a 3-1 league win, to draw level at the top, after being 10pts behind, really needs to have a serious re-evaluation about themselves as a supporter. Played the best football and created the most chances since fk knows when. League isn't finishing on Sunday. Plenty time to deal with goal difference, nearly a third of the season left. We are in better form! Re Best / Starting XI. Think the manager has made it crystal clear he plays using a squad. This is modern football ! Tav is covering a different area of the pitch and impacting in a different way since the winter break. Almost never on the wing or over / under lapping high up the park - which he's done constantly here. Now cutting inside, covering the right of field channel as soon as he gets to the final third. Also quicker to drop back for cover. Harsh to judge him by old expectations when he's in a new role.

Completely agree, the treatment he gets is ridiculous, Cortes missed 2 sitters and nobody says a ward, it seems anyone is allowed to miss chances bar dessers

The support doesn't have patience; witness the meltdown after Pittodrie. There will be a setback or two between now and the end of the season; but that won't stop the bottlers rubbish as soon as that happens.
