I am making it my personal mission to bring Lawrence Shankland to Rangers. Don’t care what anyone says, we need that boy.

stephen

I'm really gutted about that news on Cortes.

Brian Rae

I heard them discuss the non red card. The worrying thing is, I think they were unaware that it wasn't even given as a foul. It's beyond belief.

Gordon Campbell

I was surprised at the lack of mention of Brenda Rodgers naming John Beaton and criticising the officials in the manner he did. They’re shite, we all know they’re shite but surely Brenda should face punishment for his remarks

Bradley johnson

Any idea on the fee Of the option on Cortes?

IAN OGILVY

Regarding the non red card, do we still have a “Compliance Officer’ earning £90k a year at the SFA? Maybe they are too busy looking in their book of excuses to ensure Brenda doesn’t get cited!!

Niall MacKay

It's a right disgrace that the challenge on young Ross wasn't even referred to pitch side. When you consider what Dujon Sterling received a red for, then the challenge on Ross and that ugmo right back of theirs on Hearts youngster escaping minimal punishment makes it difficult to fathom. Same ref that red carded Sterling saw his too.

Alastair McGeoch

It’s ironic that the actual refereeing howler that you could argue had a direct impact on a game involving a Glasgow based team will not be the one(s) discussed ad nuseam in the media/phone-ins every day this week 😂 Rogers should be getting cited for his comments after the game but he won’t be (unlike the SFA reminding Rangers they had a responsibility for the safety of refs during the Collum crap!) last time we lost a league game we went on a 9 game winning run. If we can do that again we win the league!

Seumais Simpson

It'll never happen but us and them should be calling out for real improvements to refereeing as a collective. If they were able to pull their heads out of the sand and admit that the officiating is attrocious regardless of your colours and it's not a big ploy to hamper Celtic.

Russ

Not surprised Cortés got injured, the lad looked like it was the first time he played on a surface that bad - he could barely keep his balance. Also I think we need McGowan on the flagship later taking stock and being optimistic - I just couldn't be arsed with the discourse online post match this weekend. Nothing to do with what you do at H&H tbf!

James Anderson

Can there be a retrospective red card?

Gordon Mitchell

He totally knew what he was doing when tackling MacAusland. He made a secondary move of his legs towards him after he touched the ball. Joke league.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. Donation made, good luck to all involved. 🤞for a tail wind & decent weather for those on the road on the day. Refs - TBH, I don't know who is who by sight, don't care. I'm pretty sure every SPFL club has been on the wrong end of at least one terrific howler in the past week (3 games). Shockers. Game changers. Players banned who shouldn't be and vice versa. Penalties given and not given. It's fine that we look inwardly after a bad result, perhaps maybe too severely too often. It IS all about cause and effect. M'well certainly put themselves about from the start, eg 2nd min on Dessers, and the more they got away with more they pushed it. But when breathed on went down easy. That has a dramatic effect on the context of the match. I'm not saying it is an excuse but it is a factor in the tempo, fluidity & break up of play and effects the mentality. Increases anger, raises adrenalin, throws timing off. Lotta last ditch defending by M'well, some good saves, did their jobs. Really delighted with the support, stuck with the team throughout and any anger rightly directed at the useless officials. Need to be pragmatic - examine the last week / 3 games; Hearts, Killie (a) & M'well. If you'd been told in advance we'd lose one, yeah you'd be disappointed but probably accept it was possible to drop in one. Doesn't really matter vs who. 3pts is 3 pts. If you can see the bump in the road you can avoid it. Perhaps one eye looking further down the road by some? Lesson learned and reiterates the manager's 'one game at a time' message. Nothing lost, in fact a +1 in GD (which lots were blowing their biscuits about vs County 2 wks ago!). Onward to Benfica!

Robbie McCarroll

Yeah stopping in those pitches especially when there is rain put extra strain on your joints etc I had sore knees watching Cortes the first half !

David A

That lot are in for a torrid end to the season let`s all enjoy it and we should have a 50-50 chance against Benfica despite the financial disparity Toulouse had them on the rack in the last round

Craig McCrimmon

The ref was at it on Saturday, the guy was beyond incompetent. I thought he was cheating to be honest. Great choice of tune Getting away with it - Electronic That made me smile

David Campbell

My biggest fear in this run in is the officials costing us the title. That's St. Johnstone Kilmarnock then Motherwell. Where mistakes have been made that could've cost us massively. Saturday we were nowhere near good enough however if Motherwell are down to 10 it's a different game entirely.

James Mcgill

Whatever happened to the compliance officer??

BlueJay

The wee dick made the VAR gesture after he scored the winner. He knew he should have been off

Mark

Not enough has been said about the second yellow O'Donnell should have got for the foul at the penalty. We should have been playing against 9 men for 30 minutes.
