Let's gooo! I acknowledge your waiver but I'm not typing all that out on my phone 😂😂

Kiki

The Karaoke Version is hilarious🤣

Daphne Schaffer

I hate to say this guys, but in the mv version you missed all the doors for ARMY and they spelled out ARMY with their bodies with RM in the middle rapping... a very cool visual. In this video at Grammys Jin just had surgery so he couldn't dance, so they gave him a computer job. Did you notice all the art disappearing in the back and then new art reappearing? Jhope did trip... he was the last one there like hours before the performance... if you look at the platform circle it is titled... I don't think he was ready for it. but good recovery. They were begged by the grammy's director to perform and every day something else bad happened they did their best to overcome and to show up for the performance... they guys thought is a reasonable probability they would win a grammy but they were used for viewers numbers according to the performance placement. They were indeed hurt by the result.

neleh

They also did a remix with Megan Thee Stallion, 3J did a choreo on her verse, it's mind-blowing

Olive7

Seven eeiiight lol

Sunny Young

Jimin looks like Suga because he is wearing a head band. LOL. RM wasn't taking control at all, he was trying to figure out why he was messing up with the lasers. His shoulders were so big, he was nervous because the lasers were not spaced the same, and how to change his part with the lasers. JImin was totally in charge. and hated it, LOL. You will hear him tell J -hope to not be sick again. LOL.

Abbie

Thank you for this! I had another great time with y’all! We appreciate you. And I gotta ask.. Jordan are you ok? 🤣 I was laughing so hard at the end the way Jared was looking at you was priceless 🤣. It was honestly so much fun. So much love 💜💜

olivia

thank you for this really enjoyed this 🥹 the behind of the karaoke video is even funnier! really recommend watching it 🫶🏻

Laura Jäger

fun fact about bts being bbigger than grammys the live viewers for grammys was about 10.5 million but jk just did a livestream on thursday with about 16.5 million viewers lmao

Kallie

please check out the remix with Megan the stallion

Rosie ⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Was hoping you’d see the remix with Megan Thee Stallion & the 3J dance practice to it (Jungkook, Jhope ,Jimin) but you’re probably unaware . It was so good !!

Princesse Avoce

This episode showcases how hardworking they are and also how the 7 members are needed for BTS to feel right. Side note they missed hobi’s leadership in the practice studio a lot and Jimin kept talking about it ( sad that you missed all of it).

Alix Drifty

You're definitely ARMY when you can articulate the problem with the grammys so well! It's definitely a systemic barrier. I honestly think that putting any credibility on the grammys is like seeking the opinion of your racist uncle who lives alone in the woods. BTS KILLED IT and first and foremost, BTS are performers - so the fact that they put on a performance that they can be proud of is the most important thing.

soyaspinsxxx

Anyone else still getting second-hand anxiety from this performance? 😂 A few comments for things you might have missed: 1. You might have missed some dialogue but the main reason why more members were taking control of the choreo is because j-hope was not there to rehearse until the very last day. Jimin comments a few times how things are not falling into place because performance leader hobi is not there. Ofc, the huge importance of this performance also plays a role, and all the members always contribute their bit when it comes to performing, but you can definitely see a shift in the before vs after hobi finally makes it to rehearsal! 2. When RM was talking about fixing their expressions he was talking about the performance, as in "don't forget to pull the right facial expression when you dance", not because the cameras are there! We've seen the boys stressed out and breaking down crying countless times, they are way past caring about how they come off offstage, I believe 😊 3. If there's one piece of Butter content you HAVE TO see is the 3J Butter Performance, where j-hope jimin and jk do a short, INSANELY HARD choreo to Megan Thee Stallion's verse: https://youtu.be/IkeZX2hnoOk There's a great behind the scenes for this too: https://youtu.be/O84fLDIU-T0 All other Butter remixes can easily be skipped imo, but this is a dance performance you absolutely can't miss! 💜

Singa7⁷

It was Hobi the performance boss talking about facial expressions. He repeats it when they do the review of the stage practice just before they change for the red carpet. His eagle eyes miss nothing when it comes to their stages.

Glaseon_711

Waiting for the moment of your acquaintance with one incredible Saga about Jimin and chairs... I don’t know for how many minutes the cuts are obtained there, but you should once see it... 🍄🍄🍄

If you do a part 2 reaction to other butter content, check out their Weverse live after the Grammys. It’s pretty insightful hearing their thoughts on the show and the performance. I just like watching them support each other and seeing their mentality after not winning. You can tell they were kinda disappointed, but Bangtan remains grateful, determined and optimistic. My personal opinion on the Grammys is that they should’ve won a Grammy for best duo/group performance for dynamite, hands down. They were the best choice. The other songs were weak and nobody out performs bts. And They were the most active artist during the pandemic. There were other good contenders the year they were nominated for butter, but they could’ve won that year too. Also, none of the other nominees are even duo or groups. They are collaborations, and that imo is a different dynamic But whatever. Idk if there’s actual discrimination going on, but I just think the Grammys love their solo artists, and they do have specific darlings, such as Beyoncé, Adele, Taylor, Harry styles, Bruno, Billie eilish, lady Gaga. I’m not saying those are bad artists, but as long as they’re nominated, whether it’s their weakest or best work, they’re always gonna win. But yes they were definitely used, both years. How you gonna have them be one of the biggest performers of the night, and then give the award to someone else, that you didn’t think was imperative enough to have them perform…? I don’t really care for the Grammys, but I only get annoyed cuz it means a lot to bts. There’s just not gonna be an artist like them for a while

Ann Dominique

Although the Grammy is probably the best performance for Butter, there’s still a lot out there that are pretty good. The Jimmy Fallon one when they closed the Brooklyn Bridge is also one of my faves. Actually, there’s so many Butter content you can get to. They also did a Vlive after the grammys. You can also check out the MV shooting sketch. They worked hard during the pandemic while promoting this song. Side note: Butter era is my favorite Tae hairstyle. The poodle hair. He pulled it off really well.

Heather ⁷

Those hats that J Hope, JK, V, RM and SUGA are wearing are they BT21 characters which each members created

Maya001

Yes! 🤣 this was fun and reminded me of the excitement I was feeling during last years Grammys. They afterwards had a 4 night concert which RM said in the first night “We are not here for the Grammys. We’re here for Armys”. It was amazinggg. He also addressed some shit ppl were saying about BTS and asked us to ignore the hate. I’ll link the 2min clip here: https://youtu.be/vrmu-bJQpLo Also there is BUTTER THEE REMIX where Megan The Stallion collabs with the boys. They also performed it LIVE in night 2 of their PTD LA concert as a surprise! they were supposed to perform together at the AMA’s but Megan wasn’t able to attend due to personal reasons so she made a surprise appearance at their concert in LA. 3J have a dance performance to her her verse and it’s 🔥🔥🔥 https://youtu.be/IkeZX2hnoOk This is the behind the scenes/ dance practice if u want: https://youtu.be/O84fLDIU-T0 There is also a Bangtan bomb of the boys meeting Megan for the first time in New York. This was when they were headed to the UN in 2021. https://youtu.be/tvXBhrLdIc0 Apparently the deal was Megan would join a BTS song and they would also collab on a Megan song. It has yet to happen but I can’t wait! I LOVE the butter karaoke hahaha they have something similar like this for the MOTS7 album. It’s super chaotic and funny. U kinda do feel like ur on something 🤣 There is a behind the scenes for it, and imo it’s even better cuz it shows the members actually singing and rapping. They often switch roles and it’s funny to see the rappers sing and singers rap lol. Check it out if u want https://youtu.be/pBu39NYCfOQ I enjoyed this marathon! Looking forward to more. have a good evening 💜💜💜

This brought me right back to the lead up to this performance. I know you assumed that we all heard about the lead up after seeing the performance. I almost wish this were the case! Bighit keep Army informed and up to date on these things via Weverse. (If you guys haven't got an account, then it would be helpful for you to get one to stay up to date with things in the future). We were getting regular updates in real time about how the members were doing. The anxiety they were feeling whilst preparing were shared by Army- we didn't know if all seven would even be able to perform or how they were going to figure it out. It was a stressful time. You'll likely see many Army's joking that the words "Hello. This is Bighit" strike fear into our hearts. This is how they start every post to Army's and it's often followed by bad news. It's amazing how informed we are though, I can't think of any other artists who are connected with their fans in this way. I stayed up really late to watch this live and was blown away. Knowing everything that happened in the lead up made it even more impactful to watch in real time. I know you guys recently had covid, it makes you feel awful and exhausted. Can you imagine having to dance, sing live and perform intricate tricks with the whole world watching, just days after having it? Unbelievable. Unfortunately, the Grammys are still not giving BTS the recognition they deserve. It would be great if you could dive into this whole situation at some point. You're right though. BTS don't need the Grammys, the Grammys need BTS. After this performance they went on to perform 4 sold out shows in Vegas and Namjoon made a speech about not winning the Grammy and said "why give a shit about it? We didn't come to Vegas for the Grammys, we came here for the Armys." Loved this reaction guys, please check out the 3J dance to Megan Thee Stallions verse. It's amazing!!

BTSAngel777

Great reaction! This was truly a legendary performance despite all the obstacles in their way. They truly are the epitome of consummate professionals with a bit of crackhead added to the mix 💜

Butterful

I see you guys enjoy the BTS episodes a lot ! they are so much fun, the Butter version with Megan The Stallion is SO GOOD!! love her rapping and the 3J's even created a dance break for her verse, she went to perform with them at their concert in LA, it's another one of those wholesome collabs.... a few years back they released another remix with Nicki Minaj !!!! and a feature in their music video... you guys have just so much fun stuff to watch omg😫💜

Yeontae

I love this.

Butterful

i know that was insane🤣🤣 his recent live eating fried chicken had like 10+ million live viewers

Laura Jäger

Yeah absolutely and he just kept going for like 4 hours llol

Yeontae

I also love the Jimmy Fallon butter performance.

Heather ⁷

Hi Ann, sorry my lovely but that performance was in Seoul and it is the newly built Seoul World Cup bridge, they where one of the first on the bridge it was done while covid restrictions was still in place in Korea.

shelby🖤

yall talking about how the Grammy's don't respect bts, and a lot of artists, made me remember an article by Forbes that came out. It was calling out the Grammy's as a whole but they specifically said this about bts. "bts will continue to tour and release music, and fans will continue to support them unabated, regardless of grammy recognition. the academy may properly acknowledge the k-pop group someday. but as bts continue smashing records and the grammys continue to lose relevancy, who really needs who?" i couldn't have said it better myself.

Butterful

PS: if you guys though this performance was cool just wait for when you get to MMA 2019... that thing is actually INSANE😂😂😂like actually that's the first time i thought they were not human

Ann Dominique

Oh my gosh! I never knew that. All this time I thought they were at the Brooklyn bridge. Thanks for letting know. Don’t know why i assumed it was in nyc just cause they were at jimmy fallon. So funny cuz i’ve been on that bridge before and i never even noticed 😂

soyaspinsxxx

Correction! Rewatched and actually it was j-hope talking about the facial expressions! Our birthday boy 💜✨

TuffLikeToph

Rule #1 for managing BTS' crackhead energy: do NOT give them a karaoke machine 🤣

Laurie Brennan⁷

I will never understand how they think it is fair to put fulltime duos/groups in the same category as one time collaborations...makes no sense whatsoever

leat

Jimin hair was the headline when this song came out. Butter has many videos to watch other remixes and even virtual performances for Minecraft i believe. and tons of really cool performances. you haven´t watched a lot of their performances your minds will be blow this was just a small part of the iceberg. but i think when you have reacted to more songs you can do a mix reaction of their performances. BTS had a full week at jimmy Fallon. so 7 performances or more i can´t remember and it was doing the pandemic but it was so creative. i can´t wait till you see it

Kecia ⁷

It's crazy to think it's the same guys doing the karaoke version and the Grammy version! That is what makes them special to me. 💜

LibLady26

This was fun. Yet another version (and my fav) is the Billboard Music Awards performance. This one introduces the fabulous dance break. Check it out!

Angie7

Yes!!! The difference between BTS and any artist on this planet is BTS does everything they do with respect to whatever venue they are at….they have a level of perfection, dedication, respect you don’t see in anyone these days…to them they were at the Grammys and they hold that institution in high regard so they wanted a perfect performance…and mind you I DID NOT feel like dancing on the downside of coming off COVID and two had it but what was not mentioned was the others had COVID in between their L.A and Vegas concerts Jimin had even had an appendectomy…so these boys deserved a Grammy for their work ethic alone…they brought to the Grammys a performance that will never be matched…they don’t need outlandish clothes ….their talent speaks for itself…from ROBT to all the behind the scenes, the movies, in the Soop the one thing that never falters is their bond and genuine brotherhood and love for Army…they never act like a celebrity…the farther in you go the more you love and protect these special people….Also I’m not sure you caught it but in the dance part they spell out ARMY with their bodies on RMs part “got Army right behind us”and that was a total suprise when the mv came out

Angie7

I can’t wait for THAT…no matter how you try to describe BTS to someone you can’t do them justice with a mere description or story..you have to see it to believe it and even then you think where are they from…not of this world

Angie7

Yes to weverse! it’s how we cheer the boys up but more importantly …let them know we are thinking about with all the hardships and that we will have their backs so that’s a strong connection we have with the boys it’s strictly us and them on that platform

Selina T

I love your reaction to jk singing neyo lol. Kinda makes me want to hear him sing the whole song 😩. One day. maybe on Weverse or Instagram live lol

Chris Augustine

We are so lucky to get to see all the behind the scenes content. It really humanizes them and shows just how much of themselves they pour into their art. No other artists give you as much insight into their process as BTS does. It is beyond my comprehension how they have not won a Grammy yet. Not to diminish other artists but I watched some of the Grammy's this year and the performances were so lackluster that I turned it off. I 100% agree that they are fighting an uphill battle for recognition, they always have whether it was against the big 3 agencies in Korea who slandered them, accused them of plagiarism, made up bogus claims and tried to exclude them from broadcasts to the western media, radio and music industry which has exposed them to racism, xenophobia and insults. It is why Army fights so hard for them through streaming parties and pushing physical album sales to try to overcome the built in bias against non western music. I do believe Rolling Stone named this in the top 20 greatest Grammy performances of all time (I think they ranked 14??) The VLives after big events like these are so great, I love that BTS doesn't go to the fancy afterparties but goes back to their hotel and does livestreams with Army instead.

Ashleyder

Hobi is usually the one running the show during rehearsals, like ... full stop the rehearsal leader. I think they were all flailing a bit without him.

Kat

Thank you for your amazing reactions always! Worth subscribing to Gold 💗 It’s mine and hobi’s birth month, mine on 12th so im looking forward to your next episodes particularly jhope week related content 🥺💗

Bora Companion

The hardest part of BTS Grammy situation is that the category they have been nominated for these past 3 years is named Best Performance by a Group or Duo. And yet each time the winner(s) have been one off collaborators. I wish the Grammys would create a separate category for Best Collaboration if that’s what they are going to favour.

Da Lantis

If you do more butter reactions, check out this: https://youtu.be/b7H2RQiJeSk its "things you may not have noticed in hotter remix". Helps point out the background. Super funny.

Les

Let me put BTS' success on billboard charts into a clearer picture for you: they went all the way to Korea to give them a cover feature for their magazine and blatantly asked them TO THEIR FACES if BTS thought their success of Butter was "fair" because it was primarily due to sales from ARMY. RM quite literally said "you should change the rules, its not fair to blame us for our fans" and then billboard proceeded to change the rules not even 3 months later. They would've dominated with other songs and releases had billboard rules stayed the same. Heres the thing, and im sure you know this by now in your journey: these guys are an industry anomaly. They dont make money for these big labels, they make it for themselves. And it pisses the US music industry off. Its the reason why I'm not surprised they didn't win again this year 🤷🏽‍♀️

crystine dills

something else that needs to be watched for "Butter" is the Megan Remix then also the 3J dance video. so heres some links for those and one more. first is: -Everything you missed in the Hotter Remix: https://youtu.be/b7H2RQiJeSk -"Butter" ft Megan Thee Stallion Visualizer: https://youtu.be/ymaIzkXY8nQ -3J Dance Choreo: https://youtu.be/IkeZX2hnoOk -3J Behind the Scenes: https://youtu.be/O84fLDIU-T0 -BTS meeting Megan: https://youtu.be/tvXBhrLdIc0 -BTS PTD Butter FT Megan: https://youtu.be/y3C9lolhr4g

Lily

There's a Bangtan Bomb with a behind the scenes of the Butter Karaoke video and it's absolutely hilarious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBu39NYCfOQ Also I definitely think the Cooler Remix is worth checking out, there's a MV for it as well, similar to the Hotter Remix video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilqQJrbXghQ And like everyone else is mentioning the Megan Thee Stallion Remix is awesome as well (and the 3J special performance)!

SierraNicole

I loved seeing them talk about how much they missed Hobi's leadership. Like he does so much behind the scenes so to see them talk about how that affected their practice made me so proud.

J. Ezbet

Hi Jared and Jordan! About having ARMY right behind them when they say so - when RM says that, if you look at the formation of the guys behind him, they are spelling out ARMY with their bodies. And RM is right in the middle, as in A - RM - Y. You can see it best on the MV. It's so special!!!

Linda C.

Did you notice every time they referenced an MJ lyric, they kissed their hand. I think the hand kiss stood for something else as well but I can’t remember what it is.

Linda C.

I love the bridge one!

지순

너무 점잖고 나이스한 두 청년이 BTS 를 만나면~ 인생을 즐기게되죠♡ MMA2018리액션 할때까지 저는 기다릴거에요♡ 아포방포💜

Johana

Great video! LOL definitely agree with Jordan on that karaoke video. BTW you should watch the Bangtan Bomb on the behind the scenes of that video if you want. You’ll see more chaotic energy there 😂😂 https://youtu.be/pBu39NYCfOQ

Chelsea Iwuala

Could y'all react to blood sweat and tears next i think that will be one of yalls favorites.

Precious

Thanks sooo much for the reaction! I loved it! Part two will be well worth it. They also have a video for a holiday version of Butter and don’t forget 3J’s dance to the Sweeter version and the behind the scenes of their dance. Thanks sooo much! Borahae!💜

LaLaJin

In the BTS Butter Karaoke version, they're all wearing (except for Jin) their BT21 characters hats they created (RM-Koya Kangaroo, Jin-RJ Alpaca, JK-Cooky Bunny, Jimin-Chimmy Puppy or dog, JHope-Mang Dancing Pony, V-Tata Red heart-shaped head and Suga-Shooky Brown circular figure (looks like a cookie). BTS has a whole series of the making of their BT21 characters, it's pretty funny and cool.

ada

thank you! so fun to see it again with you guys! 💜

Fernanda

I always feel so nervous/anxious whenever I see the behind the scenes for important performances knowing damn well they already performed and pulled it off flawlessly like why am I getting nervous it’s not like I’m the one performing 🥴

korgi

OMG IM BACK FINALLY I HAD TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION BC OF SOME ISSUES I WAS HAVING BUT IM FINALLY BACK IM GOING TO BINGE ALL YOUR VIDEOS NOW

korgi

i giggles reading the waiver out loud hehe

SingingSeaDragon 01

Ahhh I cannot wait for them to react to 2019 MMA. “I’ve never seen something like this” oh just buckle up. That’s my favorite performance honestly. But you need to know quite a few songs since they used a lot. (Persona, I Need U, Fake Love, Fire, Dionysus, it’s wild) It’s literally almost a bts concert at an awards show. 37 min of pure genius and awesome. I loved their Grammy performance though. Looking forward to seeing them gain their first Grammy. What a glorious day that will be. Thanks for another great reaction. Take care!

Kath

Fantastic reaction guys, thank you so much for all this meltingly good content. Just a couple of notes. It was Hobi who talked about the expressions not Namjoon (He talks about it twice. Where you paused and replayed and later on) and he meant it in reference to the performance that they had just rehearsed. BTS focus a lot on facial expressions during performances and it’s a key feature of their performances. Tae and Hobi are the masters of it. A little bit of info about their dance performances etc. Hobi is referred to as the dance leader, choreography leader, performance leader etc. His Korean nickname is Team Leader Jung (his last name) so he is normally the number one vocal person in dance practices, concerts and before performances etc. in relation to their dance and performance. You will become more familiar with his role the more behind the scenes content you watch as you have barely scratched the surface. There are so many good compilations of him carrying out his role too. His absence was why they were having such difficulties etc. Namjoon was more vocal as he was trying to help and step up in their dance practice… with mixed results. Jimin was actually the deputy in Hobi’s absence and you see him verbalise 4/5 times how much Hobi is missed. And how difficult life was for him in Hobi’s absence when Hobi was back. As you saw all the members have a huge input in performances etc normally Hobi, Jimin, JK and Tae are the most vocal with suggestions but Yoongi, Namjoon and Jin also contribute. Their performance director SSD in his weverse magazine interview talked about the huge difference it made when Hobi was missing and when he was back to lead practice during their prep for the Grammy’s and that without him things weren’t working out. His mistake was so unusual for Hobi. It is a famous fact in the fandom that when members make a mistake they always seek and make eye contact with Hobi and are scared of his reaction ( in a good way.) So you can imagine how much his own mistake would have weighed on him. A fact that also often gets missed out is that Tae just recovered from COVID not long before this time period and a couple months before Jimin had surgery for appendicitis. As you are aware then during the Grammy prep JK and Hobi went down with it and Jin’s injury. Hobi even made parts of his 2022 Vlog during this time in quarantine. In relation to the Grammy’s you could see how much pressure was on the members as they really wanted the Grammy before their military service etc. You also some examples of how nervous Tae gets before performances and interviews. If you paid attention to his fingers they were shaking during his interaction with Olivia (also she was part of the performance and in on it. And he really did say bla bla to her.) you also saw an example of how Tae’s face shuts down when he is nervous and how he was unable to speak in interviews despite practicing before hand. I also don’t think you caught his comment during practice where he said if I don’t catch the jacket I’ll just pretend to faint, Which resulted in Yoongi trying to reassure all of them that they just need to stay calm. Also the fact the JK and Hobi mastered the changes to the choreography immediately. Another note JK did speak English during their red carpet interviews. He was just regretful that he is not a fluent speaker like Namjoon is and it comes to him with more difficulty. Namjoon also once more showed why he is the best Leader ever during those red carpet interviews etc. The stand out parts for me were the number of times members expressed their appreciation for each other. Jin’s touching comments comments in relation to Namjoon. Jimin’s sweet comments in relation to Hobi and also Jin. Jin praising the members. Tae pointing out that they had done their chant without Jin and then their suggestion to do it again with him. Namjoon and Yoongi’s praise for this… For those who missed it Yoongi told Tae ‘I was proud of you today’ directly after he said that. And Jimin’s endearingly patting him on the head. They actually did a vlive with ARMY minutes before they filmed those last closing remarks in the room with decorations etc . I highly recommend it. It has fun anecdotes including more on the card trick etc and JK’s fun claim to have caught the card. I also highly recommend their Butter comeback show preview vlive show. And their chaotic but super fun Butter vlive where they reacted to the MV and played games etc. Both shows are so much fun. I don’t have links but will try and find them. I also recommended the ‘Things you missed in the butter hotter remix’ by Taeza on YouTube. Believe me you missed out on a lot of fun. Thanks once again for this. 💜

Prise Josephine

if you think this is good, then you need get to MMA and the MAMA performers.

Serendipity

Please watch the BT21 episodes so that you get to know their different characters.Jin often carries his around(RJ) and they sometimes wear their costumes. It will be interesting to watch how BTS put pieces of themselves in each of the characters.

morphee

I think they didn't noticed BTS written army with there body😅

Zoi

J Hope is no longer Hobi when he’s in dance mode Jung Hoseok appears and it’s sooooo fierce!!!

imtachki

the little rant about the intentional exclusion of BTS from western acceptance and celebration is SPOT ON. if a western act did a quarter of what BTS has done, their accolades and respect would be off the charts. yet BTS have consistently had to work to such a higher standard for a tiny fraction of the recognition and respect. it makes me so angry to think about, the boys deserve so much more.

What a BUTTERific treat from my FAVE brothers!! Thanks for this, Jared and Jordan 💜 I am actually feeling so sick today but I'm happy to finish all these content with you. I suddenly miss Jin seeing this. And remembering how hard he tried even after the Grammy's, they had their 3-day concert in LV and he had to do them with that cast in his hand. They said he needed to be extra careful coz if got hit, he will need to undergo another operation. So the doctor recommended that he should skip dancing. It was such a heartfelt speech that Hobi did during the LV concert, thanking Jin for his efforts in including himself in some of the lighter dances during the concert despite his injury. Even V was so sweet that time 🥹🤧 All of them aren't afraid to say kind words about each other - and what Jin said about RM there at the Grammy's was soooo thoughful. I just love them all 😭🤧💜 Jared has keen eyes on Hobi there. Not only when he tripped, but also when Hobi looked so bothered and frustrated after the performance. You know how much of a perfectionist the boys are, esp Hobi when it comes to the dance performance. I just wanted to go inside the TV screen and give our sunshine a pat on the back and tell him he did really great! 🌞 And yes, you can always dive into more of the Butter remixes, I suggest the remix with MEGAN THEE STALLION and the SPECIAL dance performance of the 3J for it!! It'll blow you awayyyy just like this!! 🤯 there's a behind the scenes of the 3J shooting it and you'll see how they're into perfecting their craft. There's also a Bangtan bomb of them meeting Megan Thee stallion. Just so many things to watch! Butter era has too many content, honestly. They've performed it like hundreds of times in different stage set-ups, different shows. Too much content during Butter era, really. There's also the behind the scenes of the MV sketch shoot. You'll need the whole month just for Butter. Again, I really enjoyed these videos my FAVE brothers!! You both are really spoiling us with too much content! Thanks for giving my day a boost!! Borahae 💜💜💜

Sorry i write a lot of comments and delete them later, my social anxiety extends to the Internet🤪

You need to see their butter remix with Megan the stallion

Suga(r)kookie

They did a live after the Grammys scammys and for the Butter karaoke is a version were you can hear them actually sing, it's so funny

bts

Yeeeeesss!! And the dance Jhope, Jimin and Jungkook did for it!

Hebah Alramsi

YESSSSS YESSSS YESSSS you absolutely need to see the 3J dance its beyond phenomenal, you gonna be amazed by the choreography

Hebah Alramsi

Your reactions are always the best 😍😍 I was amazed when you notice when Jhope tripped , because I couldn’t see it until the third times of rewatching the performance 😅 but you didn’t catch when JK tripped before the last part of the performance 🫣 this performance was one of the best. Thank you for your precious time.

When BTS went to Vegas for the Grammys, they had 4 concerts the following weeks. And it was a straight up festival, people coined it “Borahaegas”. They lit Vegas up in purple, they had pop up shops, bts themed hotel rooms, bts themed restaurants, bts songs playing during the fountain show. They sold out every show. I literally saw kids as young as 3 and adults as old as 80 in the audience of all backgrounds. In my eyes, it overshadowed the Grammys. They literally took over vegas. No other artist can do what they’ve been doing. Also while they were there, they were prepping for Proof/yet to come. That’s where they performed Proof live. They went to see/hang out with silk sonic lol. That’s also where you saw V dancing in that jazz club by himself lol. They totally let loose when they were in Vegas, and I’m glad they did. They deserved it. Can’t wait til you guys experience that, especially with your channel. Your fellow army patrons will probably recognize you now walking around at the shows lol

Thanks for the great reaction 🙏 I loved it when Jimin said that they are BT without Seokjin (S). This whole episode shows there commitment, perfectionism, precision, work ethic and team work. The Grammy’s got cancelled again online (like every year), because some members of the Grammy committee admitted to not look into some acts like boybands due to prejudice. I don‘t have the exact quotes, but it was all over twitter. Since you seem interested in more Butter content, I highly recommend the Butter Remix feat. Megan Thee Stallion, the 3J (Jimin, JK and J-Hope) dance choreography for the remix plus the behind the scenes and the live performance where BTS performed with Megan on stage. - official visualizer video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymaIzkXY8nQ - 3J choreo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkeZX2hnoOk - 3J choreo behind the scenes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O84fLDIU-T0 - Fancam of the live performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU2UZTbrM6Y To the last part of your reaction: I wished you had reacted to the behind the scenes of the Butter karaoke video. They are just naturally funny and crackheads 😆

i saw a baby being held by his father in a babycarrier idk what it´s called. and the baby had chimmy hearing aids on for protection. and the dad too had chimmy headband on. and jimin noticed the baby and waved there is a collection video of army and bts moments but i can´t find it

hannah

guys would it be possible at all for you to watch the ptd la concert film on Disney+…??

Sascha

Firstly, two things : I love how distracted you get when you hear a snippet of their voices singing in the background ! And Jordan, your face during the Butter karaoke killed me 😂 And then, if you do an other video reacting to butter content I have my fair share of recommendations (armys have probably already proposed a lot of those but I'll make a recap): - After the Butter hotter remix, let's have you watch the cooler remix : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilqQJrbXghQ - TaeZa's videos, "bts things you didn't notice in...", they are HILARIOUS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7H2RQiJeSk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vh1lIanX6ZU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vm488w5GIEM - Butter in 노래방 Behind the Scenes, OF COURSE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBu39NYCfOQ - The 3J's performance to the butter remix with Megan Thee Stallion, because it's only 1min long and I re-watch it pretty much every week I think, and its behind the scenes to see their never-ending dedication for what is supposed to be "just" a bonus performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkeZX2hnoOk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O84fLDIU-T0 - Them meeting Megan : youtube.com/watch?v=tvXBhrLdIc0 Also, since we're on the Grammys' subject, you should definitely react to how they reacted to their first grammy nomination (I believe it was 2021), it is so genuine ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1aAyKMVUUU That's all, you can now take a breath before diving back into more BTS content 😂💜

Yeontae

Yes please. You can livestream it, that's gonna be super fun.

*Drake Alert* It is unfortunate and perplexing how the Grammy's work. Grammy's had the audacityity to have BTS perform towards the end of the show for ratings. They had the same audacity the year before when BTS performed Dynamite - at the end. As mentioned, they worked hard since they had a lot to prove, but also this was around the height of Asian Hate Crimes during the pandemic (#whitehouse) I'm glad Drake mentioned that on his IG. RM mentioned the same about the Grammy's right after they lost at their PTD concert. And they're still humble. After they lost, Suga simply said "we'll just work harder". BTS truly are a phenomenon. 💜

Guys, I am so happy you deep dived into the Butter behinds the scene of BTS Grammy performance. What I love about the members is that they were more worried about doing great for ARMY and not the Grammys. BTS does not need any awards to validate or certify the greatness they have accomplished. They have not disappointed ARMY by no means. They are everything to ARMY and we love them so much. As far as I am concerned, BTS is too good for the Grammy Award. They are above any Grammy and that's a fact! BORAHEA 💜 x7

Omg this was so fun to watch! Bts works hard but their chaotic nature works harder 😭😂 you definitely need to have another part to butter because there’s a butter remix Ft Megan thee stallion which I feel is very important to note. That remix almost didn’t get released because of Meg’s record label. They had to go into legal battles and everything just so the song could be released with her feature. I’m so glad Meg fought for this feature because when it was released it was like the song got released for the first time all over again. Twitter armys all changed our profile pictures to the pink butter logo to celebrate. There’s a 3j dance practice with this version. And there’s a bangtan bomb where bts meets Megan and it’s so cool and cute! Definitely worth watching all of that. And on top of it all she came out as a special guest performance during their PTF concert in LA. Megan has always supported our boys and stated many times how much she loved them. So seeing them together and interacting is always a treat. Here’s some links to help you guys out if you need them! And I hope you guys enjoy it. It’s definitely very fun to dig into all of the butter content. Janet

Would love to see all of these!!! There was a legal issue that Megan had to deal with too before the remix version was released. I don’t know the exact details, but if I understood correctly, she or her team had to pay 200K upfront to her label in case the remix wouldn’t make the amount they wanted. ARMY actually raised the same amount to donate to two causes in her name to show support to her. 💜

Janet

Many have mentioned about why Namjoon and others were more vocal than other times about choreo, but wanted to say again that it was because Hobi was out due to Covid. You also said that they are listening to Namjoon. I think that they all listen to each other, esp when it comes to anything related to their performances. When the behind episode dropped, Hobi posted on instagram a picture of Namjooj and Jimin and jokingly referred to them as the 7, 8 boys 😆😆

Kia

Watched you guys’ videos tonight for the last 45min to an hr of my workout. Today was a lowkey day for me today but at least I got up and pushed through. Thank you guys for making my reluctant workout tonight a little more bearable. I definitely wasn’t up for it but watching you made the time go by faster. Anyways I loved this reaction. The guys are indeed unreal. They pulled off this performance immensely well despite everything going on and continued to remain professional. They are truly inspiring in the way they push through regardless of anything that gets thrown their way. Anyways, like always, thank you for the reaction. Much love and support to you both💜

J-Lee

Awts 🥺 I do feel like that sometimes. But here I just write everything into one looonnngggg comment coz I know that Jared and Jordan read every single word of what we say whenever they have time. And they always find time to do so 😊 Also, I trust this community so much. People here are mostly kind 💜

J-Lee

Yeah, in the behind the scenes, it was said that RJ is sold out so Jin didn't get to wear it. Maybe next assignment for our fave twins - get to know the BT21 characters. They were created by Bangtan themselves. There's a whole series too of them creating these and the whole process behind it. You'll enjoy it guys! 💜

Kiki

Wow all the feelings I felt during that Grammy Award just came back. I stayed up all night (it was in the middle of the night in Germany) and was so nervous for them. The moment they came to the red carpet, I literally screamed 😅 It felt like I saw my best friends experiencing a very big moment of their lives and I had to be there for them. During the performance I was so in awe and just thought „Why was I even nervous. Ofc they slayed that!“. Then the announcement of the winner. We all knew they would again just use BTS for cloud but I still happened to be disappointed. Just because I knew they really wanted this award. Fun little story: On my way to work that day (I‘m a dogtrainer and work outside) I overheard two (adult) Armys sitting on a playground talking about the Grammys. I waved at them and said „Are you also tired? They should have won right?“ and we just laughed and giggled. It was really wholesome. 💜

Susan Grayson

The dichotomy of BTS. Extremely professional, high work ethic, positive icons of society while not taking themselves so seriously that they aren’t still crackheads.

Alana W.

This was such a great compilation of butter content! How could anyone watch the Grammy episode and not be completely endeared and impressed by the humility and dedication of BTS!! Tbh there is so much Butter content I hope you get a chance to circle back to some of it eventually. Especially the Megan Thee Stallion remix and 3J dance + practice 🧈 💖 Thanks J&J!

Hana⁷

I'd love for you to do a Butter pt 2, especially the Remix with Megan Thee Stallion. There's a bangtan bomb where they met, she was at their concert in Vegas for one evening to perform Butter with them, and a 3J (J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook) Choreography plus the shooting of that. It really is amazing! Interestingly enough we found out about this collaboration a few days before the release through legal documents because Megan had to go to court to get her label to release this. It was WILD

BTS stands for Beautiful True Sophisticated Chaos 💜

selena stinky

i feel like the "mind your expression" bit was not only to make a good impression for the academy or whatever, but literally ALL EYES are on them; people who know them to be insanely popular but haven't bothered to look into why, haters, journalists with bad intentions... and us as fans! i remember everyone on my twitter feed had their hearts pounding from how nervous we were, knowing theyd be amazing but worrying about hobi and jungkook having covid right before. i cant even begin to imagine the pressure they felt, and on top of it all, school their expressions and look good.

Angel Williams

wow intentional exclusion is correct. Well said.

Ellysa Vaj

Thank you for the heartfelt reaction. This one felt special because everything you said, the conviction in your voices validate us and our love for BTS.

Nira

The "watch your expression" comment was meant for their stage performance.

moonbeamss_⁷

It was Hobi who said that and I think he was just talking about their expressions while actually performing since they were debriefing after their rehearsal.. but what you said is true too 😆

Selina T

Although dynamite and butter could have won in their respective categories, easily, I think most of us would agree those 2 songs don’t even do BTS justice. There are BTS songs that are deeper and more creative, but the sad thing about this Grammy situation is they’ll probably never be nominated or recognized because they’re mostly in Korean. That’s like part of the reason they came out with these 2 all English singles, so they’d have a better shot at the Grammys. They won’t hear the brilliant bars and beautiful melodies these guys normally come up with cuz English is not their first language. At best, they can pull off pretty simple pop songs like dynamite and butter in English. I’m not saying those songs are bad, I love those songs. But they don’t truly showcase what BtS are capable of. It’s like when you guys reacted to Ddaeng. Most people just see them as a boy band, sings poppy tunes. But have those people listen to Ddaeng, or on, or cypher, etc. I think there’s an live somewhere where either suga or RM said towards the dynamite and butter era, they kind lost their identity, like they were far away from the music they used to make. But you have to appreciate the fact that they pulled off these 2 hits in a language they don’t really speak vocally and performance wise. That’s a big deal in itself that again, the Grammy doesnt take into consideration.

Well said. I would LOVE to see ON or Black Swan on a Grammy stage, people would GAGGGG but sadly that would never happen.

Donita Polk

Oh yeah, that's right! Megan basically had to strong arm her label to release it or something; mad respect to her. Then her comment about "we did it" at the concert kinda made it seem like a bit of a struggle to wrangle their schedules (primarily hers I guess since we all knew where BTS would be) 😆.

Donita Polk

Agreed, I've just started binge'ing her channel. She has lots of really good documentaries there about BTS and Kpop. 👌🏾

Donita Polk

Yeah, I saw both of them the first time I watched but that's only bc of how I watch them... their formations are usually very clean so when HOBI tripped it caught my eye right away. I saw JK's but I thought it might have been an intentional-seeming trip because he looked overly surprised; like he was "covering" for Hobi's earlier ... movement. I could be wrong, of course, but either way I felt better when HOBI addressed it on ... Weverse I think? They are all so human, relatable, and as kind to each other as male siblings often are 🤦🏾, but generally good and lovely people.

Hebah Alramsi

Absolutely agree with you 🫰💙🦋

Tyla Vidal

4:38 They are all responsible but when J-Hope is not around Jimin leads choreo practice. They are also stressed because it is Grammys and J-Hope is sick 1:01:30 they are wearing they BT21 character hats

Selina T

Ah yes! Black swan :D

LaNita Starr⁷

Sooo amny things about this reaction. First.. you guys gave me goosebumps when you said "Bangtan Soyondon" in unison. Also you guys got me emotional guving the boys the credit they have sooo earned. I wish I would have been ARMY longer for same reasons. Also..... Butter Era is my Favorite OT7 Era. JIMIN.. Rainbow, JK..Purple amd long, JHope... Blonde, RM... Pink and powerful... I can go on but no need to express my live for Jin, Suga and V!! I love love love this reaction💜💜

Gray

I know I am months late and you’ll never see this comment but I wanted to say I love what you said Jared about systemic barriers, no meritocracy and intentional exclusion 🖤💜
