so excited to see the rebels crew again!!!

I really hope we see Ahsoka talk to Anakin's force ghost, or even a flashback scene between them

What has me absolutely pumped is that Thrawns voice actor from Rebels is actually playing him in live action. So it's 100% Thrawn. The older guy with the orange lightsaber is confirmed as a Jedi who survived order 66 and is theoretically now more of a grey jedi, like Ashoka, but leaning more towards the dark side. This show will be part of the "mando-verse" timeline which also consists of The Mandalorian & BOBF. This timeline is supposedly climaxing in a movie where the heroes will have to team up avenger style to take on Thrawn.

So much cool stuff in this trailer. You didn't mention this so maybe you missed it but Mon Mothma was in the hologram talking to Hera. This is set after Return of the Jedi (and after Mando) so Vader definitely won't be in it!

I'm super excited to see Ray Stevenson who past away just two months ago so this will be one of his last performances and maybe even one of his biggest last performances. You'll know Ray from the Thor films he played Volstagg one of Thor's closest allies and friends. He also played the Punisher as well in Punisher: War Zone (2008) and is most well known as Titus Pullo the main character of the amazing TV show Rome. One of his latest roles is the villain Scott Buxton from RRR (2022) so he's been in the spotlight alot in the past few years. Cannot wait to see him in Ahsoka.

I have the hype through the roof! I already want it to be August....and loved Sabine with short hair.

this is post-return of the jedi so Vader is dead, but force ghost anakin is 100% expected

Ahsoka referring to Thrawn as “heir to the empire” is a cool Easter egg because Thrawn was actually first introduced in a book titled “Heir to the Empire” in 1991. I’m not sure how interested you are in books/audiobooks but if you want some extra Thrawn content before this show comes out I would highly recommend reading it, and the rest of the trilogy it’s a part of. Not only is Thrawn the main villain but it focuses on Luke, Han, Leia, etc. after episode 6, so it’s got a lot of really cool stuff in it

Thrawn = blue Elon Musk 🤣

This will be the real start of the (Star) War(s) against the new end boss Thrawn. Hopefully there will be (at least) 2 seasons of Ashoka before the big Mandoverse movie from Dave Filoni in a few years time. I hope Thrawn can be for a new generation what Palpetine was for my generation!

Peter Miller

Emme you can absolutely cosplay as Sabine. You have her look.

That astromech droid is not R2-D2, but in a way it is. That droid is based on the old Kenner toy design for R2-D2. Somehow Kenner Toys got R2’s design wrong from 1977 all the way up to Return of the Jedi in 1983, and Dave Filoni is kind of referencing that old botched toy
