Dear Patrons,

I hope you've all had a chance to enjoy our latest video on the Battle of Eylau. Napoleon is everywhere at the moment, with the new film out in just two weeks. We'll be marking the event ourselves by releasing our 'Napoleon in Italy' ALL PARTS video!

Several updates for you today:

New topic reveal - lots of near misses, but no one spotted the (very difficult) link between Russian polar expeditions and the Siege of Port Arthur - both important events in the early life of Russia's only 'Supreme Ruler', Alexander Kolchak. We're working on a two-part series that tells his story.

The other secret topic previewed in our video was not Trafalgar, but the Battle of Cape St.Vincent! However, this will be part of a short series also covering Trafalgar and the Battle of the Nile.

Our other big news is that Epic History TV is now available on Nebula! Nebula is a subscription streaming platform set up by creators, and a new home for smart, thoughtful videos. No ads, no sponsors, just lots of great videos from a carefully picked group of creators. It's $5 per month, or just $30 for a year using this link: https://go.nebula.tv/epichistorytv

Of course, anyone reading this ALREADY has ad-free early access to all our videos! This gets you that for loads of other channels as well. And I hope it will be a good thing for Epic History TV's long-term growth.

Finally - apologies for the disappointment, but there will be no new video in November.. but for good reasons. We are in a bit of a transition phase at the moment - new team members, new systems, big plans. In December, we will have TWO new videos (Kolchak Ep1, Napoleon in Egypt Ep1), and thereafter, the plan is to produce more videos, more regularly than before.

Reminder - Patrons are charged per video, not per month, so there'll be no charge this month.

Thank you again for your invaluable support, which has been crucial to our current expansion plans. Back with more updates soon!

Swagalag

Is WWII still going to happen at some point?

Uaid Ez Zahhar

Two epic videos coming this December, what a way to make justice to your channel's name EPIC History TV! Hurrah!! Looking forward to new productions, and thank you for giving us content of such good quality!

Sean Mac

When the entire Napoleon series is complete will there be one video or series of videos that covers his entire career and fits cohesively like what you have with the 1805 to 1809 and 1809 to 1814 video pair?

EpicHistoryTV

Well, all the videos will be available at the same time, and organised into various playlists. I'm not sure I would ever edit them together as a seamless whole - there are gaps and changes in style that I think would make that look a bit clumsy. But NEVER SAY NEVER.

Sorin Pochtar

Kolchak, who the hell is this one and what does he do on Epic History TV?

Victor Carreño

I am excited about the move to Nebula! You will be a great company. I have been a subscriber for about a year. They have excellent creators there. One of which is also in the history space (RTH -real time history). This is brilliant! I love being able to quickly access the Nebula app from my smart TV without being overwhelmed by all the YouTube click bait.😊 Keep up the awesome work!

Flint and Ball

Great stuff mate I'm looking forward to something a little different, and of course a little more Napoleon. How far down the track are we likely to see the one off battle of Wabash? I'll have to take a look at Nebula, haven't even heard of it. Keep up the great work and have a good weekend.

Gaurav Rao

More frequency of Epic History TV videos on the horizon? Am I in heaven?

Nigel Pierce

You rock Toby! Keep up the great work…..with that said I hope you give us our November epic history TV fix and don’t leave us hanging like September

Medin Burnic

Very excited to see these upcoming videos! Always take as much time as you need to complete them. These sneak-peaks are already magnificent!

Breakfast

without a doubt the best historical content on the Internet right now.

Covfefe Dotard

Always love your videos keep up the excellent work

EpicHistoryTV

Thanks Victor, nice to hear! I know RTH very well, we've been for pints and curry in London!

EpicHistoryTV

Admiral Kolchak led the 'White Russian' movement in the Russian Civil War.

JP

Kolchak and Napoleon's Egypt...! Well played, can't wait!

Moncef Khassali

Take your time, the excellent work you produce is worth all the wait.

Dan Jaggers

Well now, I was fully expecting the secret topic to be about the Russo-Japanese War, but this is even better. I also love the new army markers on the map, we've sure come a long way from using the flags way back in the History of WW1.

EpicHistoryTV

Interesting, I was wondering whether to roll out the flags again for the WW2 series!

luc

A serie from Cap St-Vincent to Trafalgar ? A naval serie on the Royal Navy. That looks like top, but "battle of the Nil" ???? It's Napoleon that ??? (Yes it's revolutinnary/napoleonic era but... Nil is in land, not sea ?)

Dan Jaggers

I think at this point, with the increased attention to detail since the Napoleonic Wars series, I feel it's more fitting now to use markers so that eagle eye viewers know exactly which army is which, and who commands them.

Alexander Ruspandy

So excited for the coverage of Battle of the Nile as this battle directly impacts on French's Egyptian campaign. Also happy about upcoming Alexander Kolchak's video as not many people outside Russia knew about him. Hopefully in future there will be video about Alexander Kerensky or even a ranking of Russian or Austrian generals during Napoleonic Wars like you did before with the French Marshalls.

Stuart Carver

More topics and videos more often this is an early Christmas present 🎁 new team members too you have been busy, I hope the long awaited WW2 series might be soon after the new year?

Tavana

Ooooo, a video series like Napoleon's Marshals but about the generals, commanders etc of Austria, Prussia, Spain, Great Britain and Russia would also be incredibly interesting! Great idea Alexander! (More Napoleonic Content! XD )
