I think based on the sneak peak pic Quincey isn't gunna have fun telling Tora about the party he promised Poppy. And Tora will be pissed but will go because he will want to keep an eye on Poppy. But I have a gut feeling it won't go well and Tora will want to talk to Poppy but also not reveal to any Balthuman affiliates that he and her are involved in any way. I think things will start to get a bit sticky starting with this episode. But I'm here for it and can't wait!

I think Poppy will just let Erdene's comment go and I don't think it will affect how she sees Tora. Tora is not going to be happy about the party but I wonder if Quincey will make it a surprise. I don't think Poppy really likes the idea of a big party either

Poppy will definitely stick up for Tora. She makes her own decisions about people, so I don't think Erdene will sway her opinions either way. I think Quincy will tell Tora about the party. Tora will hate it, but will want to got because of Poppy.

I'm dying to know so many things..... What did poppy and Tora say to each other as she left from his house... She wouldn't have just dumped his head on the ground and ran away without a word. I think as lily pointed out it will take awhile for poppy to stand up for herself. I think she is going to try again but will take time. I remember being in my early 20s and was too afraid to defend myself. I love that the progression in this story is very real

I say Quincey, starts noticing that Tora is getting nicer and even smiling more, He tries to ask why that is and Tora completely brushes it off, until the next meeting with Poppy and the team... Then the gears finally connect and Quincey ships them harder than ever

Even though I know it's out of character, part of me hopes that Tora gets a peck on the cheek from Poppy while in the office. A silent message to everyone that they are "together" (actions speak louder than words and this would be the best defense of Tora, imo) but also leading up to Tora's new reward system.

I think this is a character development week. At most, we'll see some flirting, but suspect Poppy is still too uncertain about everything going on to defend Tora to Erdene. I can see Tora making Quincy feel dumb about inviting the girl he's trying to protect straight into a dangerous place for her to be--assuming he's willing to open up that much, and treat Quincy as a true friend and not just his boss's son. (Jury is still out on that.)

So for starters our Tiger is going to lose his shit because the "exclusive club" that Quince mentioned is none other than*drumroll* Club Miracle the Strip Club which is smack dab in the middle of Ares Street which is also known as our Tiger's stomping ground/Territory so let's all hope Tora does catch wind of Quince plan beforehand let's not forget that Quince is clueless to the grimey side of the clan buisness he said so himself that he can be very clueless and careless P.S. Are we getting an update today 10/9 or 10/10 P.P.S I don't know why but I think the clan elders would go for Tora to takeover for Vincent if he and his wife were to get into a let's say *car bombing* or *assassinated* just saying when Tora shot the 4 rival gang members he was sending a message Vincent was upset he didn't kill them but the clan elders were pleased so yeah Tora has won there favor I know it

Tora is not gonna be happy about Poppy and anything Ares St in the same conversation. I can see him going to keep an eye out but he will talk to Poppy about it. Poppy may have some doubts about what Eredene said, but she will be back in board. She needs to sift through her feelings. Tora may sense that and work to maintain /establish that in Poppy again.

Based on the sneak peak, I wonder if Tora will talk to Quincy about his feelings for Poppy (perhaps after Q reveals dual bday plans OR Q says something about Erdene being a meanie pants) but he is too casual about it and Q has to tell him: yo dude you LIKE this girl, like YOU ACTUALLY LIKE HEr and basically does the work for the fandom of moving T towards thinking about how to actually be with P rather than stay stuck in “we kinda make out sometimes I guess????” land.

I can never predict what is going to happen and I am always pleasantly surprised with each episode but today I will try. I think Tora and Quincy will be at Bobby's office for a while longer her boss will show up. Everyone gets introduced and Bobby's boss tells Quincy that she is great and how she will take good care of him but he is touching her as he does. Nothing sexual just the innocent arm to her shoulder and back pats that bosses do. In Tora's mind Bobby is his and get your fucking boss hands off. He doesnt say anything he just glares and fumes. The phone ring and there's the phone call you previewed. That call will be something very very important that requires them to leave quickly. Before Tora walks out the door he's going to walk up to Bobby and drop a hot one on her lips in front of everyone the walk out saying nothing. How bout that?

I think one thing that I forget from time to time is how little they each really know about each other. We're all over here like "KISS FALL IN LOVE" because we know they both have the feels for eachother but.... -Poppy doesn't know he treasures her hair tie -Tora doesn't know she cried when she found his note and the ring/braclet -Poppy doesn't know that Tora generally avoids women and that she's a big deal to him -Tora doesn't know she's more than just turned on by him. She keeps saying they're "just friends"... he probably thinks the idea of him being in the Mafia is a deal breaker; that all she has for him is lust, like every other woman. -Poppy doesn't realize just how dangerous his life has always been, and how scared Tora is for her. She just thinks he's playing with her. THEY'RE BOTH SO CLUELESS!! "What happen's at Tora's house stays at tora's house" .. he probably said that to her to give her an out... covering up his feelings with some "friends with benefits 'bullshit excuse. Bottom line.. watching them struggle, and wonder is TORTURE. But it's also realistic. I mean think about it.... Ooo cute boy.... Oh.. shit... did he murder someone? Crap.. Umm... Feelings? Can't fault poppy for not already climbing him like a tree... and can't fault him for expecting her to dismiss him for anything serious. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH Did i mention i'm suppose to be working right now! lol

So yinz remember the episode where Tora came home in the unisuite 😍 and had his phone blowing up from Vincent? He failed to actually assassinate those 5 men Vincent wanted him to. Now, it's likely that Tora has killed for the clan before so this probs wasn't new for him, but this time he couldn't do it. Do you think this is because of Poppy? Maybe having contact with Poppy has made him start to look inward at himself... do yinz think that the more he is with Poppy, the more likely over time he will start to push limits with the clan and eventually start to outright defy Vincent's orders? That would definitely get messy... do you think he would even be able to leave if he tried, or would Vincent lose to the Tiger he created? What would even happen with/to Quincey and Gyu if he did...?

I'm excited for today's ep! Lily says this is all part of a transition arc but even "the filler" episodes are filled with things to analyze, discuss and swoon. I really wish Poppy starts finding her own voice and gets more outspoken and assertive instead of just doing that playing along thing and letting the "grown ups" speak over her. It's extremely frustrating to see how even the people close to her just step all over her and treat her with condescending attitude. I think she got so used to feeling invisible and small she doesn't realize her own strength and voice and I hope her relationship with Tora helps her realize that more... To see herself like he sees her. It's not the first time Erdene does that to her... Oversteps her boundaries and doesn't listen. And Poppy just allows for it... Everyone is always treating her like a gullible helpless child. Take Mr Lam seeing her like an unprepared teen, Cordy steping in front of her to "white knight her" from Tora, Erdene and Jacob constantly picking on her or overstepping boundaries. It's time to grow up, Poppy! And speak up! You have a feisty hamster inside of you that's more than ready to take over. But she seems so afraid of any sort of confrontation and actually putting herself out there... Like the need to still rationalize and downplay their kiss in Tora's house even after everything he said to her... I know you've been hurt Bobby, but it's time to move on and start trusting yourself and your worth.

I am very nervous about the next few chapters. I have a feeling that Erdene has planted this seed in poppy’s mind that Tora is not good for her. At the party, Tora will ignore her to protect her but in turn will look like exactly what Erdene described him as. This will hurt Poppy’s feelings and she will feel as though he is ashamed of her like Julri was and she will emotionally shut down. I hope that I am wrong. I need some love between pops and Tora to happened again.
