My guess is the thugs will make a move to take poppy and tora will have to protect her. Then he will take her into the pool hall and check her over. Poppy will be moved by his care as well as restraint (which she will be able to tell because she was taught to box). Then maybe another kiss or poppy will hug attack tora again. But beyond the moment tora is going to be even more worried about poppy because people will have seen them together on ares st. And now she could be a target.

Poppy is now seen as a queen in the eyes of the new gang members like from Maid-sama, but Tora envies that and escapes with her before they can idolize her Tora and Poppy go to the Winchester, grab themselves a pint, and wait for all of this to blow over Tora snatches Poppy away from the scene so they can both adopt a chonky hamster of their own Before Tora grabs her, Poppy says to the gang in Mark Wahlberg's voice, "and say hi to your mother for me!"

I can’t decide if I think it’s more of a step back where we get to listen to Tora’s inner thoughts before the smooch, or if he’s reaching out towards her for a SECOND TIME??? I can see it being right before they kiss tho bc Tora is shaded out, perhaps to symbolize the fact he’s really bottled up with anger/violent thoughts. In the moment before his line of sight was solely on Poppy, his new “light”, he was about to be engulfed in the darkness?? But if it’s a whole new reaching out sequence, I’m assuming right after the smooch, Poppy replies to the leader of this newbie group’s question expressing her faith/trust in Tora and how he’s a good person, which probably leaves him speechless (that, or he feels undeserving of Poppy’s kind judgment)? Or maybe he just wants another kiss lol. OR, possibly the worst outcome, Tora feels dejected because Poppy labels the kiss as one without/with little meaning again, similarly to the end of the party? I cannot wait for this chapter regardless! I’m so so excited <3

So this is my prediction! (maybe not for this episode but sometime in near future): - Poppy and Gyu will run into each other again (maybe at her apartment building) and she'll bring up the part-time job thing. Gyu, being the ever so multi-part-time worker will probably hook her up with one of the places he works at. Maybe Black Swan? Maybe something lo key? -On the same note, maybe Poppy will make a return to Alice's restaurant, either with Tora on a date or alone to write an article on the restaurant. Maybe Alice and Poppy will start talking and Alice may offer her a part-time job - We'll learn more about the relationship between Joe and Tora. Maybe not what happened to Joe yet cause that seems like a major event which may happen mid-season or towards the end -Tora and Poppy will have *the* talk that he promised end of season 1; I think the events in the past few eps will lead either Poppy to ask Tora questions or Tora might say fuck it and just sit down with her and teach her about thug life 101😂 This might be a second Regina's Peak kind of date with probably twice the angst and rollercoaster of emotions and I am ready but not ready at the same time! -There will be more self-reflection from both Poppy and Tora. Poppy will start building her self-esteem and 'stand her ground' more and Tora will learn to trust himself and open up more to Poppy -I think we'll also learn more about Poppy and Tora's backgrounds, like Poppy's parents getting divorced, more about her dad, and Tora's relationship with his childhood friend, him growing up on Ares Street -More THUGLETS! We've seen how adorable- i mean how terrifying ehehe- they are. Maybe we'll learn more about Gyu, Pinky and Brian. Also, see if there's any updates on how Pinky and Erdene are doing? -And how can I forget Quincess! I wonder if he'll play a more important role this season, since he's the heir of 2 clans. Maybe we'll learn more about his family and see how the dynamic is between him and his dad. I think Quincey and Poppy will become bffs and will drive Tora crazy 😂

I was here for the smut but I gotta say poppy is really relatable, at least in my personal experience as an individual in the audience, I feel like for women or non-binary persons who are treated as such, our self confidence is hacked so much that we really do be thinking that all we can offer is friendship and we have this difficulty to take ourselves seriously, it's a trauma that really stumps your growth and makes you end up with losers like Julri, although i AM A HUGE Tora fan i gotta say i didn't like the ciggarrette thing with the smoke in her eyes, thought it was actually kind of careless.
