The "rose colored glasses" line is one of the best of the whole show. In the "improv is a cult, scientology is not a cult" bit, the whole joke is that they are clearly using the improv cult as a satire of scientology. There's a ton of foreshadowing I'm noticing for the first time in this episode for much later on.

Lol you probably know, but the Church of Scientology is extremely litigious. BoJack's hot take was a nod to that reputation; they definitely were saying it's a cult and improv is just a thinly veiled stand-in.
