Can't wait for Season 3 now 😍

Johnny Beever

I think it would be huge let down if you don’t do season 3 and 4. There’s so many good things about those seasons and you’ve proved most negative people wrong about season 2. It’s an evolution of the show and it’s definitely strong enough to watch and react well to.

DRIP DROP

Its already been decided buddy

Johnny Beever

Well actually they said in their intro that it’s not 100% decided. It’s cool, I’ll just watch other reactors who watched it.

Artanis

People just have to butt in and be rude bevause they don't want to watch it. . They flat out asked us to tell them what we prefer and we have people telling us to not do that...so dumb...

Johnny Beever

Exactly, I just don’t see the point in stopping at halfway, and as I’ve started watching the show again through them, I have to finish it, either here or elsewhere lol.

Jon

This episode was insanely trippy and a total mind fuck. I didn’t understand till I watched a breakdown of it on YouTube then had to go back and rewatch the season and then it all made sense to me

K

Would love S3!!!!

DRIP DROP

Ill leave this one for you guys when I asked whats replacing westworld 🤣 we'll have a post on it soon, but nothing right away because our goal is to cover all the live series which will be pretty back to back first half this year, and to have movies on a consistent basis. one live shows slow down we'll replace them with something

Richiep

Yes they asked, so people are expressing their opinion, just because its the opposite of what you want doesn't make it any less valid

BigTim86

Well, season 3 continues to explore the great themes and ideas that this show juggles so well. And does so through the characters that have been established; much of what you said you were hoping for, you will get in the next seasons. Would love to see you react to it; but as I said before, just hope you take the time on your own, regardless, to enjoy what else they cover in the following seasons.

Miraaaaa M

yes please do s3 and s4 i love your videos. if not, would you consider IWTV?

The post credits scene is set way in the future. William and Emily were both real humans throughout the season 2 storyline. William's journey is about him losing touch with reality. He killed his own daughter and after he realized that she was real began to question the nature of his reality and cut his own arm open to see what was inside. The post credits scene shows a host version of Emily trying to recreate William, testing for fidelity, just like William did so many times with James Delos. You can tell it's way in the future because the forge is in ruins and everything is covered in dust. Also S3 is very different but I enjoyed it.

Great reaction, felt the same way as you guys watching this, however, i don’t necessarily think the credit scene means that william was always a host or that emily was one too — the last we know of william is that he went down after dolores and then we see his body amongst the injured. the last scene with emily we have no idea at the moment where it falls in the timeline

Andy

Signed up just to enjoy the uncut versions of the last few episodes of S2... I absolutely recommend that you guys ignore the naysayers and continue through the last 16 episodes of the show (S3 and S4), I would definitely keep my sub active if you guys continue!

If you're unsure about whether to watch Season 3, I'd say; Watch the first episode, then decide whether it's for you or not. To me, the world-building is so interesting, I'm kinda dying to get your thoughts on it, whether you watch the entire season, or not.

DRIP DROP

This didnt age well.

Johnny Beever

Much like you’re maturity. Get a life sad act

Signed up to smash out the rest of the Westworld season 2 reactions and I'm really enjoying the start of Dexter as well! It's been ages since I watched that! I totally get not continuing the show if it's not viable for you guys and everything you said in your post made sense. I would love to see it but ultimately as a lover of the entire show, I hope you find the time to watch the rest of it privately regardless. The performances and the production quality are still at a very high level, and despite the show looking very different, the themes are consistent. I know human vs. host came up a lot in your conversations around the show and I would just say that it's helpful to think about it more broadly as oppressed vs. oppressor, control vs. free will etc. (which you did start talking about more in the last few reactions). There are humans and hosts that fit into both categories. Dolores most of all crosses the line into both, in more ways than one, she's such an interesting character for that (and Season 3 is the true culmination of her journey from Season 1). She proves it's not the human vs host binary, it's ultimately about agency. You can choose to become the oppressor or reject systems, individuals and any one with power that sells the idea of a perfect world. The rest of the show asks the question: perfect for whom? Who benefits from that the most and who gets left behind? Appreciate that you shared these first two seasons with us and I am glad to see you enjoyed them overall :)

season 3 is still watchable if you liked the previous ones. it takes place in the real world and has really cool tech. it really goes south in the 4th one

Kyle Fleming

This show is a headache sometimes I can’t lie.
