That went dark…

I love Carol acting as a helpless "Season 1 Carol." It was such a smart move on her part to fly under the radar a bit. Daryl definitely feels like an outsider right now. This is so out of his comfort zone. This is the character arc where I really wish he would shower and wash his hair. Everyone gets clean, and he's over there gutting a possum on the stoop.

Ludus Aurea

Unfortunately the beginning of the Alexandria arc is kind of slow so it's going to ride out until the end of the season but in a good way just like this episode. There's still much to go by the end of Season 5.

Yeah you guys missed that Carol is pretending to be a weak mom lol. Obviously she doesn’t miss Ed, she just doesn’t want them to know what she can do. It’s why she did things like struggle with the guns on the cart

Sonya Byrd

I would have loved to see that but Daryl is always going to Daryl... If everyone is doing it, you can bet your bottom that he ain't.

Dogman

great episode

alaskan mitch

I always liked this episode when it came out but now that its been over a decade since it released I think its lowkey one of the best episodes of the show. Just really well done overall.

Dylan Fleming

Rick (beginning of episode): "The people out there are always looking for an angle. They measure you by what they can take from you." Rick (end of episode): "...then we'll just take this place." Rick's group IS the "people out there". They were, as Glenn said, almost out there too long.

Alex Pearson

Not sure if it was this episode, but take note on what comic Carl is reading!

Kai

Love this episode 🔥 After you guys finish season 5 you should check out (and maybe react to?) one of the teaser trailers for season 6 called “Shadows”. I don’t know why but when it first aired it just struck me, and even a decade later it’s one of my fav trailers/ads for a show I’ve seen. It’s beautiful, haunting, and I downloaded the song immediately it’s so good 🔥

Loved the reaction! For me, honestly, I didn't love Alexandria as much as I did the first 4-1/2 seasons, I have come to realize in all my apocalyptic books , shows and movies I just much prefer the beginning of the end and the struggle of surviving. I think I'm like Daryl and prefer the "uncivilized" life. 🤣😂

Caleb Weir

I still go back to shadows as well its too good

TwoTon3

Oh yeah! Another Shane callback, and another day to pitch the movie Fury starring Jon Bernthal 👍🏽👍🏽 On another note, good on you both keeping Alexadria at arm's length, but keep a close eye as to why, and be open. Keep on keeping on

Demented Avenger

You guys ever consider steaming The Walking Dead game? First season of the game is really good.

Reginald

The reason why the. Writers had to replay that scene of Rick saying how it is out there. is because it is to show how it was actually about rick’s crew. They are measuring this place, checking their weaknesses, and if they can’t survive they’ll take it from them.
