The Walking Dead was a weekly show, so yeah ... imagine having to wait a whole seven days. Also, they started taking breaks during the holidays on AMC, so we wouldn't have the show for almost two months. I hated that lol.

Welcome to Alexandria guys! sooo excited for the next few episodes, this is definitely my favorite arc of the show

I like that you were actually surprised when Rick punched Aaron. Every reactor Channel I’ve seen is totally gung ho like “yea I don’t trust him that was the right call.” Rick was right here but wrong too like Carol said. TWD aired each Sunday other than holiday breaks.

survivor fan

“Hurricane” lmao, it was a tornado, are those not common in australia

Jack

love that you noticed the relief in Ricks eyes when they got to alexandria, i always thought that was a great scene

Alex Pearson

When they were driving and Rosita told Abraham to look at the view, that was actually Washington DC where they were originally traveling with Eugene. Kinda of a "we made it" moment

JasmynTaylah

Not common at all! We only get up to 80 per year luckily

spartanandpudgey

never had one where we live 🤷 not common around here no. other parts of Australia maybe

Aaron Kan

loved that little nod to dale, miss him so much

Dylan Fleming

Always thought this episode would work as a series finale. It would be open to interpretation what's beyond the gate but would still feel hopeful. Andrew Lincoln's acting at the end with just his eyes is incredible.

I'm from Alexandria, Virginia, so I was waiting for this part of the story (even though it was actually filmed in Georgia, where I live now). The way Aaron interacted with his boyfriend alone would've brought me some relief, but after Terminus, I'd still be extremely wary. At this point in the apocalypse, people are either grizzled from survival or weak if they've never had to live outside of walls. As long as the leader is decent, having more people does make survival easier. I like that Michonne and Maggie pushed for giving it a chance.

I know I’m late but this show gives so many emotional cues that people miss because they’re traumatized and waiting for the other shoe to drop 😅 the sound of children laughing was the thing that convinced Rick to go in. He mentioned earlier he didn’t know what it would take. That’s what it took. In that moment you saw his face soften. He relaxed for the first time in a long time. Brilliant writing and acting there.
