To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

So there are indeed 9 “kingdoms” of the realm. The term 7 kingdoms existed before Aegon conquered Westeros. Because on the continent of Westeros there were 7 main kingdoms. So everyone in Essos for example referred to it as the 7 kingdoms. Before Aegon came The riverlands was never really its own kingdom, never one of the 7 main kingdoms it was sort of a region in the middle up for grabs by the other kingdoms, that the other kingdoms frequently fought over. Sometimes the Stormlands held it sometimes the Westerlands conquered some of it etc. just before Aegon conquered Westeros the Iron Islanders sailed over and conquered all of the Riverlands bringing it into their kingdom. The iron islanders king, Harren the black had just finished moving his capital from the iron islands to the Riverlands where he built Harrenhal his new castle in the Riverlands when Aegon landed in Westeros in the southern Riverlands (where kings landing now exists) to conquer Westeros. The Riverlands lords led by house Tully hated the iron islanders and rose up and joined Aegon against Harren the black and helped him take the Riverlands from the Iron Islanders. As a reward Aegon made the riverlands their own realm with house Tully as Lord paramount making the 8th “kingdom”. However the Riverland’s region immediately around kings Landing Aegon kept for himself and ruled directly and called them the Crownlands, the 9th “kingdom”. So it’s the 9 paramount regions of the seven kingdoms. But only 7 were established kingdoms before Aegon conquered Westeros. Hence the name.

7 kingdoms when Aegon set out to conquer Westeros, now there are 9 main regions of Westeros. Anyways peak season, who wouldve thought if you just make a faithful recreation of the already beloved source material you make a beloved show, some show runners should take notes lol.

In relation to Pudgey's keen observation about the mechanics of choices made by Dunk and others choices leading to specific events or not, I believe will start to be answered at the end of season 2 but definitely in season 3. This is not a spoiler because it was revealed in the S2 finale of HOTD, all the events that culminate in the Battle of Winterfell during GOT were guided & manipulated by the hand of Bloodraven aka the Three Eyed Raven to get the result that saves the world from the Others/Night King. There is a good chance two interactions in Ep 1 & Ep 3 of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms were guided by Bloodraven. The actress who ran the Inn in episode 1 and the witch who appeared to have a redish purple birthmark on her face that delivered the prophecy was played by the same actress. Why this could matter & not just a way to save on casting is Bloodraven is a skin changer like Bran but way more skilled can warg into minds plus he is capable of glamouring people into not seeing his true identity. Likely if he was in control of those two interactions it was to ensure everything remained on the path it needed to be on. Given the characters need to be in control of everything it isnt hard to believe Bloodraven would always be nearby & participating when needed in key events he knows need to happen.

There is about 20-25+ years of history from S1 point in the timeline before we get to Aegon the Unlikely coming into power. Season 2 is already shooting and once shooting wraps the cast & crew will get between an 8 to 12 week break before returning to film S3. The break between seasons being shot would have been much shorter if it weren't for s2 needing to be shot in a location that could appear as if it was going through a severe drought and not where they typically shoot. With this story they cannot afford to squander Dexter's extremely young appearance that would occur if it was multiple years in between seasons. Plus the events in the 2nd & 3rd stories occur fairly quickly one after another.

Umm yeah I think you misunderstood that scene with Rowan ^^' her and Raymun were not previously a thing. They hooked up after the battle and because Rowan told him she was with child now, he did the "honorable" thing and spontaneously married her. It's like what Robb Stark did. There's an unclear amount of deception going on though from the side of Rowan. It definitely looks like she didn't tell him she was a sex worker but is her name even Rowan? Is she actually pregnant? Because if he did get her pregnant, she would not know immediately xD or is she pregnant by like Ser Manfred (the asshole knight she was with in episode 1) ? It's kind of weird but pretty funny.
