Good eeevening everyone - Hope you're well.

Currently editing the latest installment for Paglia's Sexual Personae. Turned into a multi-day shoot. It will likely be the longest of the series.

Thank you so much for your continued support.

Have a great weekend.

1. Book to read: 'Really the Blues' by Mezz Mezzrow and Bernard Wolfe (Paid Link)The memoir of Mezz Mezzrow, a musician, and small time crook, recounting his life inside The Jazz Age.

Recommendation from friend and patron Connor - Thanks man!

2. The French Revolution from its origins to 1795

The History of the French Revolution from the YouTube channel L'Histoire Nous Le Dira. Working my way through this. Very informative.

3. Black Sabbath Live in Paris 1970

Never got heavily into Sabbath but this is a glorious performance.

That drummer man...

4. Wild at Heart Scene - The Introduction of Bobby Peru.

From David Lynch's Wild at Heart. This is one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history.

Gets the Southern Gothic vibe so, so right. Jack Nance's dog bit is classic.

Like a symbolic harbinger of evil, the silent cowboy drifts across the screen, and out of the darkness walks:Bobby Peru. Just like the country. The sleaziest sinister nightmare ever trapped in celluloid. Those teeth.

Played by the legendary Willem Dafoe.

The music playing is Chris Isaak's 'In The Heat of the Jungle' slowed to a churning southern primal dirge.

5. The only existing footage of Mark Twain, shot by Thomas Edison

That Sabbath gig is great. Bill Ward and Geezer Butler were such a phenomenal rhythm section. Plus, the intro of them goofing around always gets me in stitches.

I'm the same with Sabbath. Never hugely into them but Bill Ward is one of my all-time favourites.

I really miss rock bands with this lineup, that could sound so full with just one guitar live
