Good hot and humid evening from Florida everyone, how are ya?

Recently posted a review of "Vivienne" by Emmalea Russo if you haven't had the chance.

Hope all is well in your world, and wishing you a nice weekend.

1. Austrian Poet recommended by me by longtime friend and patron Erik: Georg Trakl (Paid Link)

Trakl was a dark Expressionist poet influenced by Baudelaire, Nietzsche, and Rimbaud. Among his fans were Heidegger and Rilke. Check out his poem "Sebastian in Dream" on poetryfoundation.org.

2. Tess Parks - Life is But a Dream

One hell of a voice.

3. "The Unabomber’s Brother Turned Him In. Then Spent 27 Years Trying to Win Him Back." - The New York Times

The last paragraphs are compelling. I plan on reviewing Ted Kaczynski's 'Technological Slavery' soon.

4. Serge Gainsbourg - Ce Mortel Ennui

A dry and droll video from a young Gainsbourg. Reminds me a bit of Last Year at Marienbad.

5. King Kong (1933)

Saw it when I was very young and it completely changed my life.

No film had a greater impact on me.

Gainsbourg, who had an affinity for King Kong, reminded me of it, in this interview.

Thanks to friend and patron Chris F, who put my face in Chat o4, using a simple prompt.

The result is, appropriately as it depicts Freud, uncanny. Remarkably impressive.

Trakl's a favorite. Some unforgettable lines.
