The story of an art world scandal involving Vivienne Volker, the last lover of the artist Hans Bellmer. An enigmatic debut novel from the Poet and Astrologer Emmalea Russo. For those following the series on Camille Paglia's "Sexual Personae", this book brings up an idea Paglia discusses which I didn't highlight in my review of Chapter 14: John Keats's idea of "Negative Capability". Vivienne is a fascinating demonstration of this idea at work. Links mentioned:Sublation Media with Douglas Lain - "Emmalea Russo on Literature in the 21st Century"

Very cool to have such a contemporary novel reviewed! It's a real pleasure seeing current writers who have the stuff. I spend so much time with decades-old novels that I can quite easily get lost in the past and convince myself that literature is over. It is not! Thank you for that reminder, Cliff. Hope all is well.
