Esoteric Ebb was so good! I was a bit wary given the similarity to Disco Elysium (and the risk that it didn't have anything new to say/do) but it really delivered and in a different way to DE in my opinion.

Maybe im misunderstanding what Jordan means by NG+ but RE Requiem has a lot of post game content. Specifically the challenges allow you to unlock much more powerful items and weapons that you can access at the beginning of runs. I guess all your items and money doesnt carry over between games tho, so I understand if thats what he meant. But your runs still scale in power level as you unlock more powerful items.

i just recently finished my first play through of persona 5 royal and when jordan started talking about how he doesn’t like a lot of JRPG combat systems i knew exactly what he was gonna say next 😭 i love p5r to pieces but man. after a certain point i had to very reluctantly switch the difficulty all the way to safe mode bc the fights were getting SO long and tedious and impossible to beat. like just let me progress the story damn!!!

Not to be that guy, but you actually can remap your controller on a switch 2. You can do it on a system level and a per game level. It's kinda tucked away in the system settings tho so I don't blame you.
