From earth, to hell, to heaven...to back to hell, to back to earth, and so on. This one goes...appropriately off the rails.(Originally posted on YouTube 10/15/25)

MY FAVORITE 💪🏾🔥

Style from Krakoa

I do love the slow decline of sanity within this video.

Batsmon

I can't wiat for the Three Xarathos reveal!

Fish_Hemsworth

I’m 45 minutes in, and I think this might be my favorite Sir_Superhero vid as of yet. It balances comedy and information perfectly!

judoboy

I think my nose is hleeding

Cynthia Faye

as someone who's a pretty big marvel comics reader but has just incidentally never read a ghost rider comic book before, Holy Shit.

Christopher Ulichney

They say Hawkman has the most complicated and convoluted history in comic, but I think Ghost Rider can really give him a run for his money in that category. I've often wondered who is the most Retconed character I comics history, and I may have found it in Ghost Rider.

DynoGuy

This is my favorite so far. And thanks for the info at the end, I literally ran to my local comic shop after the video to get it on my list

Tyde

I might have to throw something on the grill for this one

Asterism

Genuinely felt that “Bitch that’s nothing!” in my soul

Matthew Drew

I love to hear this man lose his mind

Connor Vide

I love cosmic ghost rider! Loved this video

OrderlySummit

I can't believe you made this nearly 2 hour video without making a single Spooky Scary Skeletons joke

LuigiHann

Great analysis, great delivery. Subscribed so I didn't have to wait until tomorrow to watch this; no regrets. Man though the Fall of X era is confusing. I thought I understood the Sins of Sinister timelines, but I completely missed the Spirit of Variance being undone.

Bailey

Neither can I! Unwatchable slop 😡!

Bailey

Wow that was fun. Usually I come to this channel for deep lore and stuff that makes you go "ooooooh that explains it" this was just fun and i love that

LevyNeptune

I think the part about Venom's sins overwhelming Ghost Rider can make sense if it was the symbiote, since the symbiotes are a hivemind and have a very extensive cosmic history.

King of Bad Ideas

So, what you're saying is that we need an Al Ewing run on Ghost Rider

Andrew Warman

The more chaotic the lore is the better your videos are, one of my favorites you’ve produced

Aidan

Spooky season just got way better when I saw this get posted

Machalt

Ghosts Rider lore inconsistencies hold a special place in my heart because the first time I ever noticed a comic lore inconsistency was from some Ghost Rider miniseries where Johnny Blaze was captured and sent to biblical hell where he was tormented for his sins and whatnot, but I remembered reading lore of him being tied to Mephisto and was confused on whether they were trying to imply Mephisto was biblical Satan or something

Elisabeth Latini

God. How fucked is the "Evil is the orb" guy to be just a giant eyeball against THE GHOST RIDER.

Silas

You've mentioned it a couple times across multiple videos, but I would love to see a full breakdown on the nature of the Gods of Earth. (It’s the one aspect of Marvel Cosmology that you didn’t really cover in your big feature video on the subject.) In Loki: Agent of Asgard, Loki hypothesized that Gods are actually manifestations of belief; stories so good that the universe thought they were real. With the Cataclysm having been credited to the Abrahamic God, but really caused by the Celestials, that says to me that ancient humans who understood the nature of the world through religion had warped reality based on belief alone, making both explanations “true” in a esoteric, cosmic sense.

Andrew Warman

An almost 2 hour video all for marvel to say “forget everything you know about ghost rider” is the most sir superhero thing I’ve ever heard lol

Garrett McCartney

Can you do an in depth video of Sentry/The Void?

Lord Screamer

So, if a spirit of vengeance is simply something that empowers a ghost rider, and in turn, a Ghost rider is just someone empowered by a spirit of vengeance, and all they share is the common trait of just kinda looking like a Ghost Rider, then if I light Marc Spector's head on fire, does that make him a Ghost Rider?

Joshua Swanson

Well... It's confusing. Mephisto WASN'T originally the one Johnny made a deal with. Johnny DID originally make a deal with THE Satan. But that got retconned later on. But despite this, Johnny has encountered a character known as Lucifer, a SEPARATE character, also a Hell Lord, and one of the MANY supposed "true" Satans. And their interactions make it seem as if it WAS Biblical Satan all along. But then the next time he meets Mephisto, it's Mephisto who was the one who turned Johnny into Ghost Rider. What's MORE confusing, is that there's an argument for a DIFFERENT Hell Lord, Marduk Kurios, being the one who turned Johnny into Ghost Rider. Marduk Kurios came about because Warren Ellis, when writing the Daimon Hellstrom book in the 90s, wanted to kill off Mephisto, who he had assumed was Daimon's father because of the retcon in Ghost Rider and the strong connection both of them had to the "Satan" figure in the Marvel Spotlight books. But Editorial wouldn't let him kill such an important character in a book that wasn't selling, so he made a new character, Marduk Kurios. Though, Mephisto WAS also killed around the same time in a Ghost Rider graphic novel spin-off by Blackheart, his son. So... Same plot, really. Kinda ironic. THIS character has also appeared alongside Mephisto occasionally, and Mephisto has noted that he has claimed to be the "true Satan" more than any other Hell Lord. Mephisto ALSO claims that he's NEVER pretended to be the true Satan. Which... Makes the Ghost Rider origins even more confusing. Because Mephisto, Lucifer, and Marduk Kurios are different characters, and NONE OF THEM are the true Biblical Satan, which is what the character was originally intended to be in the original Marvel Spotlight issues.

I do want to say that, in some of the earlier issues in the actual Ghost Rider book, Johnny does himself refer to Ghost Rider as a demon. But Ghost Rider still always acts like Johnny. There is never another presence. This CHANGES when Asmodeus gets his first ever appearance in a later issue (I think 54?) where he straight up confirms that Ghost Rider is a demon, but that Johnny's subconscious is pushing it back and taking control. And then it's only as the series progresses (into the last 30 issues or so), that Ghost Rider starts to get a personality of his own, which is later revealed to be Zarathos by Mephisto.

Any video talking at length about Loki Agent of Asgard would have my whole heart
