Huh,I finally know who that guy with Rocket Raccoon was. Twice. (Rocket was also randomly in that she-hulk series for a couple issues for... no real reason)

Actually, can I suggest/ Request the origins of Rocket Raccoon (and maybe some of the other guardians if needed for run time) as it's such a mess that even Rocket himself uses the fact that he has a convoluted backstory as a pickup line.

I thank you for this. I first encountered US 1 in the Sensational She-Hulk series and thought he was such a bizarre character I had to learn more. I tracked down all 12 issues of the series and found it to be crap-tacular. Learning it was a toy tie in comic shocked me. I thought it was just cashing in on the popularity of trucker culture from the Smokey angthe Bandit era. The toy realization sent me off down a rabbit hole of licensed character comics from Marvel in the late 70s and early 80s. If you were intrigued by the US 1 series let me recommend TEAM AMERICA a comic based on motorcycle toys that kind of ties into Evil Knievel. And if you really want to go down the toy licensed comics rabbit hole check out SHOGUN WARRIORS. it was Power Rangers before Power Rangers existed.
