2023: Much To Come (+ The Return of Book Club) (Patreon)

Hello my sweets, my sours, my girls my boys and my genderless tubes of colourless odourless liquid. Thank you for sustaining me through 2022, I hope between the Patreon exclusive conversational content and the poetry and prose and smatter of Youtube videos and your knowledge you are financing my existence and ability to research and think and create and live has been worth it.

I worked very hard this year, but most of it has been behind the curtain. I'm lustfully looking forward to slowly drawing that curtain open over 2023. 

Chaos shall start striking lightning rods; I'm gonna give you my best. 

I've also formed a team! Or more of one, anyways. To shoulder the enormity of the coming year. So thank you for the continued support because it means I can pay them and upkeep all of these plates in different mediums spinning at mach 10 simultaneously (without dying, or taking too much adderall/cocaine). 

Speaking of which! BOOK CLUB booting up again on January 11th. We're going to tackle C. Thi Nguyen's book, Games: Agency As Art. I'm very excited to finally dig into this center piece after having read many of his papers and appreciated many of his talks. The book club is very nourishing to me, but it's also a lot of work to upkeep while I am also cultivating other projects, so I've invited onboard a paid Book Club Ambassador, Ellen! 

You can see Ellen's wicked sharp wit and literary prowess in their Social No Para episode and in the previous Book Club threads! As someone who has experience running online book clubs and communities, I'm assigning them to help me  facilitate conversation and other stuff blah blah listen I'll still be in all the threads and reading and talking to people but now trusted comrade Ellen will also be reading in all the threads and reading and talking to people so that I have a little pressure released from perfectly maintaining my CONSTANT IN DEPTH RESPONSE TO NIGH EVERYONE method without the experience losing it's value.

Nguyen's book is not so easily find-able as a free EPUB or a PDF, but of course this not a classic text nor corporate behemoth, it's the endearing passion project of lovely C. Thi Nguyen and he deserves the readership and proper payment so it's not too stark of a tragedy that it is not easy to steal it. Hardcopy can cost 30-40 dollars, which is not nothing, but if you are able to make it work and it's worth it to you then I can assure you it's a great book by a great author and this will be a high quality experience that lasts. 

(The Kindle/E-Book version is 15 bucks which is much more accessible [provided you have the prerequisite technology which costs money i love capitalism<3])
