Yantak Origin Stories: Lina

She's learning stuff alright.

Well, that last piece I posted with Lina and Tania where Lina is wearing the hoodie from her college got me thinking that we know a lot about Tania's wild college years, but nothing about Lina’s time in med school, and the reason for that is probably is that it is not that interesting in comparison.

Not that there's not a story there lol.

See, there's two versions of this one because while I was working on the “original” I thought it'd be done for this to be the time she figured out she was more into ladies. I think college was a very experimental time for both Lina and Tania, but for Lina it was on the more theoretical side.

She did get to have some fun during her internship, but before that in her first years she was more shy. She had only had a boyfriend and she is just now figuring out why it didn't work. 

I designed this character for the thought bubbles just to be a random girl but then I decided she was going to be Lina's classmate show, she's just now realizing she has a huge crush on. 

That's probably not gonna go anywhere sadly. But who knows…

The good news is that we know things work out fine for Lina. I like how this piece works as a companion for the Movie Night piece with the hoodie connection. Like, here lonely and just finally figuring herself out and then cut to the future seeing how things worked out for her.

Also, I know there's a lesbian flag but for me it looked funnier with the rainbow one.
