It’s going to be a good night!

Stannis in whatver is disrespectful. He is the greatest Character in the show and book

Jordan Marcial

Stannis falls off hard after this season. He just doesn’t feel like an independent character because of Melisandre.

klaire

show stannis sucks im sorry, he is the worst

zmaku

Noticed multiple mistakes in the subtitles up to this episode. At 30:58 of this video, it's supposed to say "horse" not "whores". Not that important but the mistakes in the subtitles give way less meaning to the statements IMO.

Kawaii Leonard

Book Stannis is "lawful good" character while show Stannis is "means justify the ends" character.

I think if you die north of the wall, you don't become a white walker but become a part of the army of the dead. Half-hand is a legendary ranger, he sacrificed himself so Jon could live. Love the tier list.

swilkins08

If you remember when Jon and the halfhand found the wildling scouting party (where Jon failed to kill Ygritte), the Halfhand asked her "tell me true, would your people let me live if they captured me?" And She tells him they would either kill him quick, or "kill him slow", depending on their mood. He knew he would die anyways, and dying to Jon might help buy Jon some goodwill, while also meaning the Halfhand avoids being tortured.

Battle of the Blackwater is my fave GoT episode. Lots more good ones to come but it just feels so complete

Loving the reactions Klaire! Seeing Stannis in whatever hurts tho😂 ❤️

Clay F

Great reaction and discussion. I think I would have liked to seen Sansa go with Dog. Maester Luwin dying was tough on you. I love the end of the S2 finale (E10) with how the White Walkers are depicted. Looking forward to S3.

haha love future editing Klaires comments

It was Boromir who blew the Horn of Gondor…

Brian Sheely

The dragon fire imitation at the end was fucking priceless.

MoShou

I will always remember when the last episode of season 2 came out and in advance booked a day off on that day. I was the only one in my friend group that watched Game of Thrones and I will always remember the chills I got when that third horn was blown 😭

It's pretty subtle, but watch Pycelle from 55:38 onwards. He is no longer hunched over, or speaking like an old man. This is his true self that he hides from everyone in King's Landing. He acts the part of an senile and harmless old man to fly under the radar and not draw any attention to himself. Now that you've watched the whole series, there is a deleted scene from S3 where Tywin calls him out for masquerading as a senile old man, and Pycelle drops the act and divulges that he doesn't want to be the tallest or the brightest flower, he just wants to remain in the garden. If you want to watch it, it is on YT until the title, "Tywin and Pycelle Fishing". Pretty cool scene!

Willm

This truly seems like the first scene where Daenerys really comes into her own. lovely to watch back

Ben M

This is the lowest I have ever seen someone rank Tyrion lol

engraved

I’m confident typing this knowing you finished GOT already, but FUCK whoever made that tier list LMAO with that Mormont spoiler. I assume they just mixed up seasons 2 and 3 for him specifically. What an awful way to get spoiled LMAO

Jonathan Blaze

The first time I went through this series after I watched the Blackwater episode I knew I was watching greatness with this show. My #4 GOT episode in my top 10.

I'm sure someone has commented this but in case not; fun fact, the woman who plays talisa is charlie Chaplin's granddaughter!

Tyler

"the worst ones always live" aint that the truth
