Considering how close it is to release, it's time to acknowledge the inevitable elephant in the room : leaks and spoilers. As many of you know, Zack and I do NOT engage with leaks or spoilers, chief of all because we are content creators and in order to get the most organic reaction, we need to be spoiler free, but also just because both of us REALLY appreciate the experience of a new album in its totality, and HATE having it soiled or ruined by leaks or spoilers.

When I was on tumblr during Speak Now release (villain origin story incoming...) I made it really clear that I didn't want any spoilers, and someone went into my askbox anonymously and spoiled all of the hidden messages from the album booklet. Those who remember the days of album booklet hidden messages know how DEEPLY important that experience was to the release of a new album, and how RUINED the experience was by the messages being spoiled. That radicalized me. From that day I have had a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for leaks and spoilers.

To that end, pleeeakkkkkk remember to not leave spoilers in comments!!!!!!! Both of us take it really very seriously like I can't really impart to you guys just how seriously we take it. Like it's NAWWTTTT a game actually this is our lives, ESPECIALLY THIS ALBUM......I just CAN'T be spoiled not for this one. Anything Taylor officially posts on her insta is fine, anything she does for official promo is fine, but when we start getting into the leaked pictures of the packaging from the backroom at Target, that's when we get into spoiler territory. We are 100% totally leak free, even the small details, like the album booklet.

It does get to a point where it's just inescapable, so we are usually off all social media in the ~three days leading up to the album (depending on when it leaks) to mentally prepare and also stay safe from the leaks. However, if you are ALSO someone who likes to stay free of leaks and spoilers and you haven't found your way onto the EOAS discord yet, I highly recommend it - we have a specific thread for people who want to engage with spoilers and leaks, and it's the ONLY place where leaks can be discussed. Otherwise, the EOAS discord's main channels will be totally safe and leak free, so if you need to flee other socials but still wanna discuss your excitement for the album, you should definitely join!!
