What I hope happens with SNTV is people realize she’s just always had the chops. Like whenever I would hear people be so shocked that she was capable of folklore/evermore, I’d be like “wym speak now is right there”… I feel like because it originally came out at a time when she was still pretty heavily associated with the Disney crew (jonas brothers, Miley in her Hannah days, etc.), some people dismissed it thinking it was a teeny bopper album. I hope people take the time to listen to the re-release and recognize that she’s just a really fucking gifted songwriter. It’s such a good album that her announcing the TV makes me forgive her for the crime of allowing Mr. Raw Cat Meat in public at her show 🫶🏻
