Well..............?

There almost isn't even anything to say...I mean we cheered. We literally cheered and clapped.  We cheered so loud we can't cheer anymore. AT LEAST I DID!!!!!!!!!! 

For those of you who are kinda silly and have real jobs and shit and can't be on top of the news 24/7, Taylor announced her 11th studio record (and not reputation tv) at the Grammy's last night - the album is entitled " The Tortured Poets Department" and will include 16 tracks, and an additional bonus track on some additions to make 17 total. (she loves albums that are around that length lmfaoo). 

The theming of the record from what we can tell from a handful of pictures and the design of the website is...black and white, simple, minimalist, and maybe even old Hollywood, but it's hard to tell at this point given what little information we have. NO info on first single (I'm leaning towards her not having a lead and doing the Midnights thing again), but the album is coming out on April 19th (THAT'S ONLY TWO MONTHS AWAY!) WHAT A DAY TO BE A SWIFTIE I thank god every single fucking day when I was 13 I became a swiftie like thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for this BEAUTIFUL FEAST MY QUEEENNNNNNNN

Now what are MYYY initial impressions...? 

1.) The Queen Is Queening And We Just Have To Smile!!! 

2.) JAIL. Now. 

3.) The title is a little hamfisted. But I hated Speak Now as a title when I fear heard it lmfao, sometimes things just have to settle and marinate for a while, so I'm not casting stones quite yet. 

4.) I LOVE the look of the website and the theming so far. I purchased the deluxe edition of the album on her site (no judgments I'm only a simple lizard...) and it includes a patch, a magnet, ANDDDD photo cards!! I mean.....THAT'S EATING GOOD COMPARED TO WHAT WE GOT OUT OF MIDNIGHTS....THAT CLOCK SHIT...GOODBYE. 

5.) The album also seems very fully cooked. It has its own insignia, it has its own theming and design, and it seems to be VERY well thought out - she said that she's kept this album a secret for 2 years, and that means for over 2 years she has been cooking and cooking and editing and thinking about this record. It gives me VERY positive vibes that this could be one of her best records...but we shouldn't count our chickens just yet...

6.) As for sonic vibe.......................girls I'm not guessing. I could, but I won't. I can only say this; definitely not a pop record in the style of Midnights or 1989 or Rep. I think she's had her fun with Midnights and wants to be that songwriter girlie again who's drinking coffee and vaping at the cafe in France...I mean let's let her do it!!!! 

7.) There is something about it that really stands out when compared to the other records. It reminds me of how different I immediately thought the Folklore cover was from anything she had ever done, and the song titles and how they utterly gagged me and I was like...am I going to like this? Because it just seemed SO unique for her to do. I think she's doing something different, creative, and all her own, and I cannot wait to find out what it is. 

And WHAT is the opinion of the snakes on these proceedings?!?!?! What are you getting for a vibe? What do you think it'll sound like? What do you HOPE it will sound like? Are there any collaborations you're interested in?!?!
