When first watching the show, I noticed how Pinkie just seemed to do things.... And as time went on, no one either talked about it or seemed concerned. then this episode came about and just cemented that feeling. One does not question Pinkie Pie.

lauren faust, creator of this version of my little pony said "this show is for everyone to watch, not just kids" meaning she changed the dynamics all animated shows of the time were focused back then, specially being a hasbro thing, she make the show thinking that not only children will watch the show, it is not kids-focused and specially not little girls focused, but rather, kids can watch it, but is not focused on only them, which was worth it later when turns out, most part of the fans were adult males who spent hundreds of dollars on merchandise and then the fandom grew and it becomed a full on business and a success of a franchise, all because lauren faust challenged the CEO's by not making the pastel ponys show exclusively focused on little girls as an audience

This is basically MLP showing off its magic system. Twilight didn't believe Zecora did anything wrong. She was the only one who kept trying to defend the zebra and actively against the idea of curses, saying it was "fake magic, smoke and mirrors meant to scare. My magic, real magic, comes from within." Pinkie Pie an earth pony has real magic. Twilight believed Zecora was innocent, but fell victim to mob mentality. This time, she's standing her ground and not believing the word of others until she truly understands for herself, much like Apple Bloom did when meeting Zecora. However, it's frustrating because she can't figure out how Pinkie Pie's magic works, much like her personality. This is why we don't question Pinkie Pie in particular.

Hey Morgan it's me Sortia! Thank you, thank you thank you so much for the shout out and the praise for the Coke Cozies I made you. I owe my crocheting abilities to my grandma, she taught me how to do it even if my style is a little different from hers. But I'm glad you love them and yes starting off they are gonna a bit tight to get on but they'll loosen up the more you use it I promise. As for the episode, this one is one of my favorites of the first season and I learn just don't question Pinkie Pie. She is like a force of nature. You can't stop her, you can only go with the flow. Her Pinkie sense is referenced in later episodes in the series and as for Gummy, he's a baby alligator and has no teeth and that's her pet. A lot of the girls have pets. Applejack has Wanona Rarity has Opel Fluttershy has a lot of animals but her main pet is Angel Bunny. And Pinkie pie has Gummy. Twilight and Rainbow Dash get one later since Spike isn't a pet as much as an assistant to her.

Honestly found the episode hilarious AND wholesome (especially with the shared umbrella hats ending). Pinkie Pie is still an icon to me and Twilight has a lot more to learn. FYI, if inconsistency is a trigger, buckle up in later seasons...
