As Morgan was gushing over how much they liked Siena, I was thinking “oh, you’re getting WAY too attached to this character for how much longer they’re going to be around.” 😬 Also, if you haven’t recognized the character allusions yet: Leo Lionheart - Cowardly Lion Siena Khan - Shere Khan (The Jungle Book) Arthur Watts - Dr John Watson (Sherlock Holmes) Hazel Rainert- …actually that one’s still a bit of a spoiler. No hints yet.

Cinder did threaten Adam and kill (or maybe just knock out) some of his men but I don’t think that’s why he joined her (he didn’t mind all the Faunus dying in the tunnels during the Mountain Glen mini arc), I honestly think he joined her so he could storm Beacon to get back at Blake. The White Fang pulled out RIGHT AFTER he cut off Yang’s arm and stabbed Blake. Like. I doubt that’s a coincidence, he was there for HER.

I dk think sienna'a leadership explains both why Blake stayed ao long and why her parents were not more aggressive in making Blake leave. Techinically the fox brothers were right. Adam was leading a splinter group in vale that acted opposite the wishes. Problem js that splinter group grew big enough to engulf the rest of the ogainaction

Cinder and Watts' beef with each other is such a small detail in the grand scheme of things but I live for any scene where they're antagonizing each other. They're the epitome of 'that one coworker you can't stand' which I find pretty relatable lol

It always cracks me up when people get upset with the Remnant-equivalent hotshot driver for not willingly taking his refurb U-Haul into a situation that had already killed at least one trained huntsman with nothing but contraband dust and a rich runaway. He doesn’t know he has a protagonist on board, but he knows FOR SURE that he ain’t one, and I have to respect the awareness. Also, yeah, Sienna’s design is siiiick. Big fan of the Lancer design, too. Just nightmares come to life.

Queen Lancer fight is fun because we’ve never really had aerial combat in Rwby before. Plus, getting to see how much control Weiss has over the knight is so cool. Love that the same episode where Salem said she didn’t want to waste people that could still be useful, is the episode where Adam kills Sienna to further his own goals. Sienna, you were amazing for the five minutes we had you. You will be missed. Such a cool design, such presence. Alas.

Yeah, more RWBY merch! Oh, I want those shirts! Yes, Weiss is Best Girl objectively! Yeah, Hazel definitely feels the most out of place regarding Salem's faction. Where most in his position would be glad to just at the chance of getting rid of any trouble in their way via violence, Hazel chooses the more peaceful option. It makes you wonder why he's even working for Salem, and what she can offer to him to make working for her worth it. Heh, don't blame you for falling for Sienna. She has a great character design. A shame of what happened to her. And all the more reason why Adam is high on many people's hit list, Though Jacques is still at the top. Yeah, Raven is shaping up to be pivotal for the plot since a lot of folks have eyes on her. And not just thanks to her looks, though that is a factor.

He probably joined first for the threat, and then when he learned from his goons that Blake was at Beacon (probably at the end of V1), he realized that fucking up her life was still an attainable goal and decided to get invested again. He interestingly was ready to give up the search for her right when Cinder came barging in for the second time. It sounded like they didn’t know where she was, so something clearly changed.

Sienna Khan was actually a tigress Faunus, not a tabby cat. She was inspired by the tiger from The Jungle Book, who was the main villain and constantly fighting with the black panther Baghira who Blake’s father Ghira is inspired by. Adam Taurus is a bull Faunus, but many in the fandom call him a goat because he acts like such a wimp. Also Morgan, I think that you would especially enjoy the song that has become Weiss’ theme that played in this episode. It is called “This Life is Mine”, and if you are interested in hearing the full version it is on the Volume 4 soundtrack. Some of my personal favorite lyrics are “Shame that it took so long to rescue me from the guilt you used to tie me to your family tree” and “I’m not your pet, not another thing you own, I was not born guilty of your crimes”.
