i dont and i will never ship byler canonically mostly due to the fact that i believe will deserves better. fanon wise? yes, gimme those fanfic recs but in the actual show mike pmo too much for me to even consider it. for the past 2 seasons, he treats will like shit and will deserves so much more than that. i understand byler shippers, i do, but i personally cannot get behind it bc of mike

and that’s completely valid! but its just not for me, and me disliking Mike’s character and his arc over the seasons doesn’t help.

This season got me into therapy. The similarities to my anxiety and what these kids went through was too intense to ignore. So glad I did. I screamed ‘run!’ when Max grabbed Vecna’s neck, and it was so satisfying that she did, unlike all those horror movies where they freeze. Side note, I find it heartwarming that the boys don’t leave Max’s side when she’s on the brink of death. Based on the sun and whatnot, I assume they reached the cemetery early afternoon. The boys stay with Max, trying to reach her even though they have no idea how long Vecna’s curse takes and quite what to expect (they didn’t see the bodies, they only have a vague knowledge from what Eddie told them). And since the sun’s going down at the end, it’s safe to assume they stayed with Max for several hours, not willing to give up.

Dude killed his whole family, put their bodies in the ballroom, left a letter to the local priest, then calmly went to start a new life. In a separate video, they read the contents of the letter, about how he’d lost his job and didn’t want the family going on welfare because he believed it would jeopardize their souls. Yikes
