When Rarity was freaking out over her dress at the beginning of, she’s not JUST being over-cautious. That dress is the one she designed for The Grand Galloping Gala (that her friends made for her in ep14) and she’s making sure nothing happens to it before the party. Not sure why she’s even wearing it here instead of saving it for the Gala but 🤷‍♀️

I'm with Twilight on animal care. The majority of it is getting a critter to do something it doesn't want to do. Shove the pill down their throat if they pick it out of food, put the ecollar/cone on them so they don't chew out stitches, etc. I wish it hadn't been so obvious from the start that Phelomena was a phoenix. Would have made it much funnier when she burst into flames when it wasn't expected.

I love seeing Celestia being so casual in episodes. Especially since she was introduced as so regal, and she still is! but it's clear she appreciates being able to interact like a normal pony

But there is also working with the animal to make them comfortable with possible compromises, one of my two doesn't do pills(the other will swallow it no issues) so I take a small amount of something she will eat, such as a small wedge of cheese, make a slit and push it inside and seal it fullly then play catch the treat(she catches it every time) and it goes straight down, or when my poodle was spayed instead of a giant ass cone to protect her stomach for two weeks(which would have been especially bad because I lived in a small flat at the time) I used a surgical suit and added one of those inflatable donuts at night, two weeks of rest with issues whilst the first 30 minutes of her having the cone on while going over post op care with her vet she was trying to flop and roll and scratch the cone off but calmed down almost immediately when I slipped the suit on her instead, vets in my area are actually transitioning away from cones for pets that don't actually need it(like sighthounds, they're so bendy that most other alternatives can be got around for example), and usually offer something else first. Also it's obvious because you know what a phoenix *is*, a younger viewer(or even older but not familiar with works that have them) may not and this could be their first exposure to such

Yay another MLP episode!!! I love Phoenixs, such pretty creatures. And Celestia with the little 'gotcha' was sooo funny. I really liked when the writers made her to be like every other pony. BTWs does anyone know where she got those Lena and Webby plush. They're so CUTE! I want one.
