Ok, before I begin, delta V stands for "difference in velocity". V is shorthand for velocity (being a vector comprised of speed, point of origin and direction) and delta, being a scientific term relating to a difference between two values. In space faring terms, delta V is a calculation you need to make to match your ship's velocity to another for a successful and most importantly, non-explody, meet up.

Kles Ashford (the old dude who butted heads with Kamina Drummer, my second favourite belter) is my favourite belter.

Hi Jackie! The title song isn't strictly in proper syntax Norwegian, but the lyricist, Lisbeth Scott used Norwegian words and rough translations as the sound matched what she wanted to pair up with Clinton Shorter's music. I de sa morgenen jeg (in the so tender morning I) stige asoke (rise in search) ja lyn tid jeg vet ha delt (yes it's lightning time I know I share) skulder dett be na more (shouldering this I ask now for darkness) Also liked your analysis of Avasarala's look - she's colloquially known as "Queen of the Earth" from this point forward, so that tracks. The books also describe her use of her outfits and jewellery as her "Armour".

I had never thought of it before until you talked about "Bubble's" opening scene. - I see the UN logo outlining her head much like how saints are depicted in religious iconography. - The colors of her outfit and black desk may represent: Earth (green), Mars (red), black of space (belters), yellow (the sun). - Maybe the transparency of the jewelry might represent the invisible links between all humans like the way it completes her outfit?

I am surprised that no one added this in the comments already. This episode was the start of the 3rd book.

Today, I make history. Me! Manéo Jung-Espin... 🚀😎⭕💥 Yeah, the adaptation of this book moves at a fast pace because the story was condensed into just seven episodes. Each source novel tends to lean towards a specific genre. The first book is a noir detective story, the second a political thriller, and the third leans into action-thriller territory. Some people have speculated that the fast pacing was due to SyFy canceling the show, but that actually happened later. By the time the cancellation was announced, the season was already well into production and all the episodes had been written. So, the quicker pace was simply a creative decision to match the source material. The Belter kid you didn’t recognize is Diogo Harari. He was first caught by Miller on Ceres for stealing water and later got thrown out of his uncle’s ship into space. After that, he joined the OPA, took part in the station raid with Miller, and helped deliver the bombs to Eros. Later, Dawes used him to uncover Fred Johnson’s secret on Tycho and to help abduct the protomolecule scientist. Also, just a small reminder that Miller left his fedora behind on Ceres before heading to Eros, where he met up with the Roci crew.

the little shit is "Diogo Harari"the kid that Miller captured on ceres stealing water, later he captured the protomolecule scientist, and delivered him to Anderson Dawes, thats why naomi is so angry about him.

The airlock scene on the Behemoth had an entirely different context in the book. An Earther named Bull, friend of Fred Johnson, had all the qualifications to command the Behemoth, but was bumped for Ashford, so the Belter ship could have a Belter command crew, and Bull was demoted to head of security. Facing prejudice from the other Belters for being an Earther, when Bull realized the Pixie Dust problem, he very publicly dragged the supplier to the airlock and spaced him, because Belters have an absolutely zero-tolerance policy for anyone who threatens the safety of a ship or station. Fresh air and clean water are hard enough to come by in the Belt, no one gets to screw with the systems that provide those things. Bull, basically, was attempting to pull a "more Belter than thou" on the crew, show them that he really belonged. Bull has been adapted out, with his role basically split between Ashford, Drummer, and Naomi. That's not a bad change, but a noteworthy one. It plays into more things that crop up as the series progresses.
