More things happen! Ish. 

If anyone sees any logic holes in circumstances I'm building, feel free to point them out. While most probably have an explanation I haven't given, you never know if I missed something. It's building into a complicated scenario.

Is anyone else not seeing the cover on the .epub files? 6.10 and 6.11 are no longer showing their covers for me when I open them, despite me generating them and saving them out. Very strange.

I'm just going to put this out there, but if the hunters aren't after his mom, but actually his sister. We know that these hunters have some way to bring people back to life from Damien part. What better way to fuck with some then to use their dead loved one against them.

Oh man that cliffhanger is super tense. Also I have to applaud Aaron having super vanilla sex as being the most hilarious thing I've read in a while. It totally lands. In terms of story logic... From my POV, the hunters have been scarily competent, maybe even too competent. It makes sense, you have to be the best to go up against supernatural monsters, but it also means I don't question their methods or motives. They just are, and they just do, not much questioning to be had. Which is to say, logic checks out to me.

Tbh I don't think they can really bring people back from the dead. I think that hunter was just fatally wounded, on the brink, almost impossible to save. But they still pulled it of some how. I think that's what that Damien part meant. And if they wanted her dead body for future use, the hunters wouldn't have let it be taken to the hospital. If that makes sense. But hey who knows.

I really like Aaron, he sounds like a cool (side)character. Would love to see more of him. And also, I'm scared for Julias. I don't like this feeling I'm getting of something happening to him in the future. "Their will always be a balance for those of importance in this world. Good times will bring bad times, evil people will awaken good people and happiness will bring despair..." Some butched up quote I picked up somewhere, but I think it summarises nicely what I'm thinking.

U see, I don't think the hunter attacked Jack's mom and sister in the first place. U could be right that the hunter was on the brink of death, but getting mauled by werewolf should probably be almost instant death considering how much time passed in the nightmare. She probably would down before black blood showed up which means she was probably bleeding out that whole time while Jerry was giving his speech.

If the hunters were not the ones who attacked his sister in the first place, who was it then? You're thinking the unknown presence in the city? Honestly an angle I have not thought of, good theory. But than I suppose there a few things that have to be answered. How and why does this powerful presence know of Jack and his family? Why are the hunters attacking the hospital and searching for his mother if not to kill her or use her as an hostage? Are they just seizing an opportunity? (All this assuming I anticipated your idea that it might be the presence) And btw that's exactly what I meant. Damien was there. Knowing him, he had factored all these things you just listend, as arguments for his conclusion that that hunter had to be dead. Ofcourse she did not reveal any clues as to why she survived. But still, I think resurrection is a bit out of there league

I think black blood was the one who attacked Jack's family to basically gaslight him. On the whole resurrection thing we really don't have info to say diffentively if the hunter was dead. If so, what r the requirements to resurrect? Is there only a certain time frame to bring someone back? Can they bring people back multiple times? However, if hunter were the one's who committed the stabbing why didn't take the body then? Why come back 48 hours later to a hospital when its more risky.

Black blood huh? Also a different angle. I wrote him off cuz in his conversation with The Prince, I got the feeling he was more looking out/after Jack and in a rare instance even protect him. But ofcourse maybe in his mind, killing his first family is a step in the right direction. And with Novus comment, it's sounds like you and me Rugue, are not even close hahaha

It was actually the conversation with the prince that made me suspect it of foulplay. I suspect Novus is trying to mislead because someone had to attack the family. The suspects are hunters(prime suspects in this who did mystery), black blood(has motive to fuck with our boy), looming threat(Cthulhu? Needs more evidence for a motive). The reason I don't think it was Angela because a lot of the other hunters don't seem as bloodthirsty and her killing innocent might turn them against her. Then again, she does seem kinda unhinged and suicidal.

Sometimes I worry about that kind of stuff, not everyone will get it. I know some people didn't get the Clarice comment Jacob made to Jack long ago. I was reading a Dresden Files book recently, and without ever actually calling out the monster, the author managed to tell you what the monster was by having Dresden yell "Get away from her, you bitch!" So naturally, any Aliens fan knows exactly what's up.
